The Natural Progarithm was my prog rock radio show that aired weekly on CFRC 101.9 FM. One might have tuned in for some progressive epicocity, and other audible treats. Mellotron was served.

Natural Prog Now on Mixcloud

Hey, folks! Hope you’re all enjoying the summer, relaxing in the sunshine with some cool tunes, perhaps. I just want to let you know that I now have a Mixcloud page set up for The Natural Progarithm, and have uploaded to it my last and second last show (#111 and #110, respectively). So you can relive those times!

But wait, why would I set up a whole page just for these episodes? Well, it could be that Natural Prog is returning to the airwaves sometime soon. I am not sure if and when this may happen, but it is definitely a possibility, so check my page over the next month for possible updates.

Interesting prog-rock from Ottawa, ON. This starts out with a kind of rustic indie-rock sound, but by the two-minute mark, there is no mistaking the meat of this piece. The fragmented guitar noodling and syncopated drumming are bathed in a rich atmosphere that is reminiscent of Porcupine Tree, albeit less dark. F L O W comes out on June 26.

Jordan, so sad to hear that this was your last show. I have enjoyed it immensely, both the classic stuff from my undergraduate years and the newer material that shows that Prog Lives! Whatever will I do with my Tuesday afternoons now :-( Best of luck in the future!
