For those wondering about the Mass Effect series plot
I’m still having tons of fun playing Mass Effect: Andromeda. Here’s my character, Suli Ryder.
Why is Garrus not a romance option in ME1? *sits in a corner and cries*
Cause he was too busy fixing the Mako
Cuz you have to die before you can experience heaven.
What gender do you typically choose for your Shepard?

15 Inapproriate Mass Effect Pick-up lines, by Claire Highwind.
1: You must be a Prothean because you're the rarest thing here.
2: What say we call tonight a suicide mission and go out with a bang?
3: Want an endorsement, because I'd love to call you my favorite place on the Citadel.
4: You, me, my cabin, embracing eternity.
5: You must be like a Seeker Swarm because the moment I saw you, I couldn't move.
6: You must be a Reaper because I'd let you annihilate me.
7: Are you Sovereign, because I can't help but feel indoctrinated by you.
8: This one wants to worship you like an Enkindler.
9: I might be a Volus because you're taking my breath away.
10: Suggestively, I'd like to pound you like our Elcor tanks.
11: Imma Drell you all night long.
12: You show me your biotic amp, and I'll show you mine.
13: Maybe you could help me out, I'm on my pilgrimage and I think you'd be more that useful...in my bed.
14: I just pumped myself with antibiotics, so why don't you stick it in my emergency induction port.
15: By the end of the night, you'll be calling me your Krogan Warlord.
there are people who say “yeah i played mass effect it was alright” and i have to hand it to them because honestly if you played the mass effect trilogy and didnt walk away emotionally traumatized then i am impressed
Mass Effect Media Megapost Version 2.0 (V 1.0 here)
It’s been about a year since I put these up so I thought it was about time for a bit of an update. I’ve added the most recent comic from Free Comic Book Day about Joker, put placeholders for the new series Foundation and updated all the links.
First off, none of these files were created by me, they have come from various places and friends when I wanted digital copies of the books and comics in addition to my hard copies. So thank you to all the kind people who have uploaded these over the past few years.
Remember if you do enjoy them please show your support! You can buy all of these in various places such as:
Things From Another World - have all the comics and worldwide shipping.
For fellow Australians - Kings Comics have them most of the comics, and very cheap postage and so do Minotaur.
Dark Horse Digital - digital copies of all comics available.
Book Depository - have the novels (and some comics) for a low price with free postage.
Additionally, most of the comics are now availble in the Library (Volume 1) Collection.
To read the .cbr/.cbz files there are a few options (all free)
ComicRack (also available on the android marketplace)
CDisplay
SimpleComic (Mac)

Made rebloggable as per request.
I felt like giving this its own post, sorry everone:
How a Prothean coughlikeJaviksincehesthelastonealivecough might see an asari, Liara T’soni in this case
This picture is based on this gloriously wonderful post by girlmeetsgame http://girlmeetsgame.tumblr.com/post/46230620965 especially this part:
Something else I want to point out is that BioWare could have subverted the trope, and had the most perfect opportunity in the world to do so. In Mass Effect 2 on one of the asari worlds in the Terminus Systems, Illium, there’s an opportunity for the player to eavesdrop on a bachelor party and the three guys watching this dancer all have the realisation that wait, why are the asari attractive to everyone when we all have wildly different standards of beauty? And then they realise that they’re all perceiving the asari differently and their minds are completely blown for half a second.
For one brief, glimmering, beautiful instant, the idea that the asari aren’t all that they seem and the way that the other races view them is the product of this subtle manipulation on a biological level existed. It was an idea that was promptly forgotten, but it existed. If BioWare had kept at least the implication, I feel like they could have changed the way that the trope of the Green-Skinned Alien Babe is seen in pop culture. It would have at least insinuated that maybe the asari wanted to be seen in that way because it allowed for them to operate behind the scenes and control the rest of the galaxy without causing a full scale war (since it’s easier to control people through love and adoration than through fear). It would have been amazing if they had done that, or had at least followed through on it. While the idea’s never officially denied, there’s not really enough evidence to make a firm case for it either. Mordin says that the attraction to asari may be neurochemical, but it was so off-handed and not explored in any real way.
Still, it existed! And that’s a start.
So there.
I'd like to add to this, too! After that dialog, I always wondered if aesthetics were the reason that so many asari look down on pureblood families. Maybe asari look ugly to other asari? Like, they inverse the attractiveness that they show off to other people. Anyways, fantastic image, and great interpretation of those lines!
i'm doing that monkey mission on eletania
and i know you don't have to search all the monkeys to find the module and you can look it up online but
i just
REALLY LIKE THE IDEA OF SHEPARD GOING UP TO SPACE MONKEYS AND SEARCHING THEM???!?
WHILE WREX AND TALI STAND THERE LOOKING CONFUSED??????
Let's do this
I'm at Dragon*Con and Mark Meer came into the panel wearing a Vorcha mask. Seriously best cast ever
Mass Effect romances are 10000x better if you just listen to this on repeat the whole time you play. I'm serious. Just... just click play.
