Has anyone else read too many books with a lot of death in it that unless there's a lot of death in a book it's just boring now?

Watching My hero Academia did anyone go insane every time Midoriya was like dying even though the sound of him saying “And that’s how I became the greatest hero,” or something like that, was ringing at the back of their head everytime anyone said they were better than them?
