I think some of y'all create mcyt siblings headcanons because you don't know how to deal with a man and a woman being friends. Like I have rarely ever seen people headcanon two men or two women as siblings, it's usually only ever a man and a woman. You guys know a man and a woman can be friends right? They don't have to have a sibling dynamic to just be platonic friends?

Okay guys so I transcribed the scene I've been talking about all weekend. A few points of interest:

- Apo stops and turns the boat around as she's being chased to give Shelby a chance to get back in. I really cannot emphasize this enough.

- the beautiful fantasy Shelby and Drift construct together where Apo plays along a little longer and gets to be their third in exchange for drinking the bloody kool-aid. This is making me think about evil Shelby/Apo/Drift, but it would never happen. Apo's got Cherri and, like, self respect.

- the only line Shelby cuts from the section where Apo is in earshot is Scott's "well, now you do." I'm sure this implies nothing about her cognitive dissonance.

- "it's too late" this line does sound genuinely regretful, and. Girl. It's really not! However it will be in a few years when you wake up next to him in the middle of the night with your head in your hands -

#ough... apo kept the door open for her till the end :(
