its good you got to identify it thatâs the first step and no i dont know what the changes would be like bc i havenât found my right dose yet so everytime the dose changes you just feel your brain readjusting which..is a lot. itâs like being high and having a sugar crash at the same time
WDYM SHES IN NEW YORK of all the members to actually come where i live iâll take it stop iâll leave my house for once say less i need to start walking some random blocks pls were inhaling the same air omg thatâs technically a kiss my delusional y/n moment
i love your banner so much itâs so cute! pizza girls is probably one of my favorite episodes
thank you. it is cute i struggled to make it actually lmao i like it to much even tho i like changing my theme so i just play around it. faceytalk will always be my favorite episode who dosent love muffin đ
please make part two like they meet again but hazel protected reader this time maybe!
honestlyâŠi didnât create Hazel with the intention of her changing đ so emotionally she would not switch that fast. the point i kinda wanted was someone dosent have to change for you to love them and everyone just canât. Yoonchae learns that acceptance so if they continue to develop into a thing it can actually work with effort bc they understand they arenât the same.
and to be fair we did come up with her having a traumatic backstory of her family being killed by other hybrids which worked really well. i just added humans to that bc wild jackrabbits in real life mainly have humans as predators so Hazel is built on that survival. If running away is why she exists sheâs gonna keep doing that. One human dosent change years of trauma or her instincts. She could be protective of yoonchae bc yoonchae wasnât a trigger and some animals are only able to expand within their species group bc to them thatâs saftey and everything outside of that is danger. So if the danger was in dangerâŠsheâs gonna protect herself every single time. she was built to live LMAO
omg so much has happened its been so long since we spoke đđ
HOW'VE YOU BEEN??
( This is toof3rs/meifixblr!! I've update my maim :3 )
iâm so glad you put that at the bottom bc i was scared asf BUT đ„șđ„ș HOW WAS UR BREAK?? did it help? anything you could enjoy?
im managingâŠwith a new dose of anti depressants again that delays my mind and sleep which is lovely. i just wish i could go into my brain and see whatâs happening honestly bc whenever type of sadness is up there it does NOT wanna go im literally at 200 already on the third change which is funny but its fine yknow healing is a process and meds is a manager not a miracle butâŠsmh
THE MINIEP IS AMAZING BUT WILL Yoonchae MEET HAZEL AGAIN?? AND WILL THERE BE A PART TWO WHERE HAZEL APOLOGIZE!?
what would she apologize for tho. hazel wasnât wrong she did what she knew it was survival that was the point lol
i lowkey struggled enough with that but IF i made a part 2 i can see it where hazel comes back and yoonchae would be happy but keep in mind the others are not. Soo technically hazel spent the whole time not trusting them and in a part two they wouldnât trust hazel. why would they. Thatâs another compromising position for Yoonchae dosent our bun need a break lmao
okay i personally donât pay attention to the ships but is there something that need to be shared with the class. danielaâŠthatâs not very straight of you babes i feel the yearning through the screen. itâs ok to come out one day just saying

Loud and slippery is how your morning went. With six animals and bodies you had a designated schedule by now. Every Saturday was groom day. Since many normal pet groomers stopped at traditional house dogs and cats you learned to tend to your batches needs from home. Sophia and Manon usually bathed first followed by Daniela and Yoonchae. Which left you to fight with your tiger and pup.
Lara and Megan hated water with all there being. It was the one thing they agreed on. It was the one day out of the week theyâd work together avoiding you. Telling the others to take their time. Delaying the process as long as possible. Thankfully the others could assist you. Manon and Daniela usually accompanied Lara while she showered, convincing her the water wasnât alive so sheâd relax long enough to not scratch another set of shower curtains.
While you remained outside holding your pup down. Megan wasnât as complicated to bathe as long as it was certain people touching her. But today to her dismay you received a phone call right in the middle, and asking someone to sit with her until you were finished was the first mistake. Excusing yourself to the bedroom as you closed the door Lara popped her head out of her own room. She only manage to put on a long house shirt in all that time. Bare feet paddling to the bathroom, damp frizzled tail flickering behind her. She rested her hands against the doorway, peaking at the pup sitting in the tub staring at the water like it wronged her.
âaw you look so cuteâ
Meganâs eyes darted instantly at the laced voice that could only belong to one person in the house. The pup huffed giving the cat a disgusted look. Thankfully only her shoulders up was visible.
âcan you get out?? thereâs this thing called privacyâ
Lara crossed her arms shifting her weight against the wall. Her eyes and tone were softer, having adjusted to the pup and you by now she wasnât as aggressive just catty. She tilts her head slightly before speaking
âmommies busy she told someone to watch youâ
The pup huffs unsure if itâs from offense or the nickname for you.
âim not 4 i can bathe myselfâ
Lara lets out a low hum âyea that floaty begs to differâ
The feline then uncrosses her arms, bare feet paddling closer to the tub. Megan kept her eyes on her sharply. Lara grabbed the little pink washcloth on the side and the soap bar. Megan puts her hand up to block her from coming closer
âyou are not touching me back upâ
That earns a scoff and an eye roll from the tiger as she persists to try and come closer. Washcloth lightly dripping water from her hand as she moves around.
âoh my god! can you stop im trying to be nice. do you wanna stay dirty?â
Megan pays that no mind surprisingly not focused on a smart comeback she only and continues to swat her away. Soon dropping the soap and cloth entirely Lara sat on the side of the tub swinging back. The moment the pup splashed a little too hard water flew on the felines face, making her let out a loud hiss. Instantly she took her bigger hand placing it on top of the pups head pushing her down just enough to make her stop splashing. Hearing all the splashing Sophia appears around the corner in the doorway just as meganâs head pops back up. It happened in seconds. Sophia looks concerned but before she could ask Megan cut her off
âSHE TRIED TO DROWN ME!!â
Lara quickly rose to her feet with her hands up in defense voice higher pitched at the accusation
âI DID NOT you splashed in my face when i was trying to help youâ
Megan scoffed loudly not having it
âHELP ME WHAT!? SEE MY CHINESE ANCESTORS?? ITS NOT MY TIME YETâ
Sophia put her own hands up to calm them down
âok ok how about i help megan finish up and lara you just go back in the roomâ
Lara huffed stomping past the older girl with a slight pout. âsheâs so fucking dramatic..acting like she diedâ
Megan continued shouting from her shaken nervous system. Half serious, half joking.
âBitch for three seconds i did! my life flashed before my eyes. Wait til i get out this tub i WILL be filing a complaintâ
Lara scoffed yelling back a âwhatever!â before closing her room door once more. Sophia gently helped Megan finish up, then wrapping the little ducky towel around her. The pups bare feet padded to her room to put on comfortable clothes before heading to the living room with the others. Sophia followed behind. Manon Daniela and Yoonchae smirked from hearing the whole ordeal. Completely unaware of the commotion you emerge from the other room phone still in hand. Being newly in sync to your body clock, Lara comes back out as you do. Noticing how your no longer dressed in sleepwear but outside clothes, she crosses her arms confused.
âwhere are you going now?â
On the way to get your shoes you responded loud enough for the others to hear the information. All ears twitching at the vibrations of your voice.
âi got a new assignment. a farm not to far from hereâ
Meganâs ears sprung upward, tail wagging she ran to put on some sweats and a hoodie. She yelled through the cracked door as she got ready.
âwait im coming with you!â
You blinked looking in the direction of the door âare you sure?â
Quickly she stumbles out the room in grey sweat pants, pulling the matching grey fur hoodie through her arms before zipping it up.
âof course i am, gotta make sure you donât bring home anything else to make me suffer AND i no longer feel safe in this household because your tiger tried to end my life today â
Manon giggled as Lara rolled her eyes but she was also smiling
âoh my god weâre still on that?â
Megan yelled from the hall as she put on her shoes âUH YEA VERY MUCHâ
Yoonchae focused on you, tilting her head âwhatâs a farm?â
Your voice softened as you grabbed your keys, double checking if you were missing anything.
âitâs like the field we go to visit by my trailer just different animals. like horses pigs sheepâs chickens sometimes wild bunnies. stuff like thatâ
You missed the way her ears stood up in curiosity. Sure sheâs come to love the home and family youâve given her very much, still she wondered sometimes if she was the only bunny related hybrid that existed. Shyly she stood up, walking over.
âcan i come?â
You blink at her in thought before letting out a sigh.
âyea but only you two and can we please hurry this up iâd like to come back and enjoy the rest of my weekend in peaceâ
Yoonchae nods before going off to change. As she does Sophia steps into view, now in front of you fixing your jacket in a motherly manner. Your heart flutters at the sight of her gentle smile, the one she always gives you. The one mixed with care and amusement.
âyouâll do great babe. And make sure you take your changers and water. And drive safe. And text me when you get thereâ
Playfully you roll your eyes at her paranoia although you were grateful sheâs become so open with her feelings for you.
âiâll be fine fia just hold down the fort like alwaysâ
Sophia takes a step back sheâs admiring you with a little smile
âalwaysâ
Manon and Lara make gagging sounds from the couch while Daniela snickered reaching for the remote to change the changes on the tv.
âit feels like im watching my parents be sappy please stop and get a roomâ
Lara gasped hitting Dani lightly on the shoulder, in a soft high teasing voice earning a eye roll from the panda at there bickering
âdonât tell them get a room your encouraging it. iâd like to keep some of my innocentsâ
Megan remained standing in the in the hall a few inches from you watching everything with unusual silence. Zoning out occasionally. Leaning on the wall with a lollypop in her mouth, hands behind her back. She always found random candy in her pockets. Hearing the door clicked her head turns to a now dressed Yoonchae, whoâs in her own brown hood and loose jeans. With final acknowledgements you three make your way out. Sophia kisses your cheek before locking the door behind you.
The car ride was smooth for the most part. Megan in the front seat with you, Yoonchae seated behind on her phone her. Puppy eyes locked on the passing trees and colors as before, tail swaying. Hitting against the seat with a rhythmic thump. Pulling into the farmers lot you were quickly greeted by the farmer himself. A fair middle aged man you assumed. Sharing how he found the company from a friend to call you for service, leading out to the field where the sheep resided, eating grass within the fence he explains the situation.
âthank you kindly again for coming on short notice, im just trynna do anything i can to save my heard..every night i loose a sheep or two i dont know whats taking them. i suspect fox or wolves but i just dont know for sure. I have a more secure kettle on the other side of the plain but i just cant get them move. i try to let them stay then boom wake up another sheep missing. just lost corn junior last night. im not gonna have any wool to harvest for the family business if this keeps upâ
You stood there observing the sheep in thought sympathetically, Yoonchae on your left while your pup stood on your right. Megan had her arms crossed unamused, tilting her head close to you in a whisper
âiâd disappear too if i was named corn juniorâ
In a whisper yell you glance at her sternly for a brief moment
âmei mei!â
She glances back unapologetically âim just sayingâ
Then she formed a little smirk her tail wagged rapidly. Moving her crossed arms behind her back, still close so only you could hear
âyou also look really hot in that topâ
With a sigh you you look to the sky, off course sheâd flirt at a time like this. One track puppy mind truly preoccupied nothing except you at times. You should have left her home but in that same moment you end up forming an idea in your mind asking the farmer some more relevant questions and sharing your plan. Most sheep only needed a loud enough sound to follow and you did happen to have Megan. Her deep bark alone could potentially do the trick. Her size being a bonus to your advantage.
While you were constructing the details with the others Yoonchae ends up wondering off. She admirired the other farm asthetic sheâs never seen before. The golden chicken in there little houses laying eggs, the windmills spinning with the breeze. The pigs and cows eating from there feeding pen even the tallness of the horses that roamed through the grass.
Suddenly bullet like speed shot past her. Yoonchae froze, nose twitched. Senses picking up a scent of something new yet oddly familiar. Shrinking to her bunny form she follows. She wasnât nearly as fast as whatever she was chasing but just enough to keep it in sight. Soon the speed trail came to an end, tall grass no longer shaking meaning whatever it was stopped running. Back to semi human form Yoonchae stood, long bunny ears rotating in confusion until she saw it.
In another batch of grass was a bunny. A bigger one. At least Yoonchae assumed it was the wild bunnies you told her about. It was currently in a fight with a bird, a powerful kick to the face the eagle flew away. That assumed bunny then turned into a girl. Wider ears, slimmer face, longer legs. She was the same height as Yoonchae but ears making her appear about three inches taller. Rubbing her ankle in frustration she grumbled to herself unaware of the smaller bunnies presence. Slow and carful Yoonchae approached.
âuh⊠hi are you ok?â
The girls head whipped in the voices direction in alert. Despite being hurt she stood immediately sniffing and circling Yoonchae. The smaller bunny could only stand there oddly, watching and remaining friendly. The other girl had a thicker voice, less soft less gentle very assertive.
âwho are you? are you another wild rabbit? you donât smell like oneâ
Yoonchae kept her eyes on the girl, hands nervously staying close to her chest
âuh no? im a bunny domestic oneâ
The other girl tilted her head at the word domestic. Something foreign or rather something that holds poor expectation. It fell silent until her wider ears spring forward in alert again. Pulling Yoonchae by her wrist to the side lower into the grass just as the sound of a deep bark and multiple sheep went by. Like a mini stampede sheep after sheep ran in a tight cluster, a large golden dog chasing them. Keeping them in line. As quick as it came is as quick as it passed. The other girls ears stay tall until everything was at a farther distance before looking at the bunny.
âyou have to be more on guard out here for danger especially big predators like thoses dogsâ
Yoonchae blinked at the girl then at the dog that wasnât completely out of view now assisting with getting the sheep into the new fence. She looks back at the other girl confused.
âwho megan? sheâs not a predatorâ
The other girl eyes the bunny, gaurd never lowering but voice dangerously low and disbelieving.
âyou know it?â
Yoonchae kept the eye contact calmly with a nod almost eager to share the information
âwell yea sheâs like my sisterâ
The other girl stood straighter crossing her arms, raising a eyebrow.
âSister? you live with a dog so your like a pet or are you the stored snack?â
Yoonchae shakes her head
âtheir my family. my person took in me and other hibâs tooâ
The rabbit scoffs arms crossed over her chest tighter
âmust be nice my family got killed by other hibâs but mostly by humansâŠand your person? as in a human yea rightâ
The girls persistent ankle pain restrikes, causing her to drop to the ground once more. In concern instantly Yoonchae knelt besides her. Looking over her wound in a new sudden panic. She wanted to help and had no idea how but she knew who that could. Her voice dealt carefully given the new information.
âi wanna help you..but i have to get my person can i?â
Another loud scoff the girl remained holding her sprang ankle. Electrifying pain spreading by the second and not even that could allow her to let her guard down.
âim fineâ
The laid back bunny shook her head. With unusual delicate persistence she stood carefully in front of the girl. Slowly backing away with her hands in front of her hinting to the other to stop moving.
âiâll be back i promise please donât moveâ
Without another thought she ran back the direction she came. Interestingly she was faster as a person than her animal form. By now you finally could waved the farmer off with your pup behind you. Meganâs hair was messy from the picking up breeze. Chest rising up and down quickly. Chasing sheep for two hours does that to you. As you both turn around Yoonchaeâs arriving, not out of breath at all from bunnies prolonging stamina. She dosent give you a moment to ask where she was. Politely folding her hands together before you.
âi need your help pleaseâ
The girl remained on the ground wincing, attempted to stand on her own. Begrudgingly failing. Long wide ears twitch as she looks back up to see the familiar bunny with two others. You look with indifference more concerned with your bunnies reaction. Yoonchae touched your arm gently as if nudging you to do what you do best.
âsheâs hurtâ
You take a step closer to inspect as the girl uses her good leg to push herself further away from you. Hardened eyes finding Yoonchae in confusion and fear. Mostly annoyance with the persistence of this house pet that didnât seem to understand the distressing position she was being put in.
âlook cottontail. i told you i dont need you or your stupid humanâ
Meganâs expresion changed immediately. Ears tall, eyes flickering protectively. Putting your hand slightly in front of your pup to hault her. Yoonchae froze, quickly looking in between the girl and you apologetically.
âshe doesnât mean that she just has a bad experience with humans but sheâs hurtâ
The girl on the ground froze at the moment. Nervous system increasing her heart rate. She didnât understand. Humans were danger. They kill. They take. They leave. Thatâs how it was supposed to go and instead she watches someone like her actually negotiating with one. No fear. Not hesitation but looking to for help. With trust was the most foreign thing in her eyes.
Nodding off the comment you attempted to help as expected. The girl wouldnât let you touch her. Body tense, scooting away, flinching, hissing. With numerous careful yet failed attempts of no being abled to get close enough to do anything you rose to your feet. Straighten yourself to give girl space in surrender. Yoonchae catches on to the retreat and unusually persists again. Folding her hands once more big distressed eyes glued to yours without let up
âno wait! can we at least house her until she heals please? she canât stay out here if she canât run sheâll dieâ
You stared at your bunny sympathetically. You understood the feeling. You knew it well. The urge to want to save everyone and everything. Knowing what to do and how to do it. You also knew sometimes it wasnât that simple. Life wasnât simple. An animals nervous system was a delicacy in this state. Too much stress and force alone could unalive it faster than the injury itself. As much as you were known to have a big heart sometimes even that came with limitations. You kept your voice calm.
âbun you canât help something that dosent want to be helpedâ
Yoonchae blinked processing. Ironic of you to say such a thing. Usually you found ways to help everyone. It was your thing. She witnessed you take in not only her but many others to create the pack she had the privilege to call the family she had now. Wondering why you didnât have the same drive for this one in need but she also understood. You were tired. At service half the day on your day off still saturday to the point any unnecessary push back was probably draining.
Still with gentle persistent she glanced at the girl herself who remained on the ground. In silence conversation Yoonchae knelt closer to the girl herself keeping her steady before soft expecting eyes fell back to you. With a sigh you took the invitation to try again. This time you are abled to wrap the ankle with a soft fabric you kept in your bag for emergencies. The girl kept her eyes strictly on you, long ears tingling everytime they brush against the bunnies shoulders. Yoonchae noticed, glancing down at her occasionally fromthe close proximity.
When finish you stood and stepped back. From the corner of your eye watching your bun help the other girl to her feet, one arm around her shoulder. Thankfully the car wasnât far. Megan ran claiming her usual spot directly besides you in the passenger seat. Where she felt she belonged. While Yoonchae attempted to help the other into the back seat right when the girl moved away. No longer leaning on the bunny for support she crosses her arms once more.
âim not getting in there with a human i want to stay outsideâ
You and Yoonchae locked eyes, hers remaining almost apologetic but you only give a simple nod as you get in the drivers seat. Yoonchae took the gentle permission to carefully help the girl into the trunk instead. Hopping on herself to sit besides her while still giving her space. Stealing glances carefully wondering how to have a conversation.
âso..what kind of bunny are you?â
Still with her arms crossed guard up she returns the glance. Clearly this was very terrifyingly new. Not encountering this much physical attention since the incident of her past. Yet the longer she looked at the girl besides her, the care, the calmness she temporarily fused her attitude.
âIâm not a bunny im a jackrabbitâ
Yoonchae ears perked with interest wanting to know more she softly kept going trying to keep the ice broken.
âthatâs cool. iâve never met another rabbit before. whatâs your name?â
The girl huffs hugging her knees. The level of gentleness confusing her natural survival instincts entirely. Voice a mix of raspy uncertainty and annoyance.
âHazelâ
Yoonchae noted the shift in her tone, the slight pulling away. She saddened a bit. Deciding it was maybe best to not question for now. Still a low voice she spoke calmly.
âthatâs pretty..im yoonchae, we wonât hurt you i promiseâ
Hazel looked at the bun with an unreadable expression. A promise wasnât something she was familiar with. Wasnât sure what it ment. Instincts only concluding that whatever it was wouldnât last. Instincts that kept her alive were never wrong.
Itâs only been three days and this jackrabbit gave your household absolute hell. At first the others didnât mind. Theyâve grown accustomed to your ways. That is how you brought them together after all. Your heart and patience fascinated them. They admired it, having every reason to be grateful for it. Even though the pack was complete, they welcomed the guest with open arms, excited to assist from a new angle that sparked memories of their own first moments receiving your care. But this affected you all much differently.
Vases broke. Holes appeared. Chargers were chewed. Many things were chewed. Screens were cracked. Thereâs been several ounces of lost sleep and shared effort. Taking turns to monitor just enough to ensure the house didnât blow up if she decided to chew on the cords connected to the gas or electricity. The main break was when hazel was asleep, and she only slept if your bunny was the only other person in the room. Those times gave you moments to have family meetings in your room such as this one.
On the bed you sat in the middle, resting your head on Sophia who sat on your left, Manon seated on the right, eyes glued to your laptop screen. Daniela sat on your dresser, swinging her legs with her arms crossed, face serious, tail curled besides her. Your pup laied her head in your lap. Back against the mattress, facing the ceiling as she fiddled with the strings of her hoodie. Mind almost drifting from the situation everytime you run your fingers through her hair. Your tiger sat on the little chair in your room, besides Sophia and slightly in front of Megan. Filling her nails Lara broke the silence. Honey voice laced with the usual amusement despite the moment at hand.
âcan i just say i love that this meeting isnât about meâ
Meganâs eyes met Laraâs with a teasingly disgusted expression
âyour time will come when i tell how you tried to kill me matter factâ
Megan looks upwards finding your face, waiting for your eyes to meet hers before she continues
âyour oversized discount garfield tried to drown me in the tub last saturdayâ
Lara scoffed in offensive but cutting the bickering short Manon averted everyoneâs attention. She glances at you specifically going back and forth between you and the laptop. Hands fidgeting, right one making a fist gently hitting against the other as she spoke.
âokay so i donât know how much research you got to do and im totally not questioning your judgement, but according to the internet this thing canât be tamed so are we just settling on not having a house or..â
Daniela flicked her tail in annoyance patience running thin.
âcanât you just kick the little shit out. This is my third charger sheâs chewed up like some ramen noodles and if she touches another one of my shoes laces im going to fucking loose itâ
The room paused quickly. Dani wasnât one to be cranky let alone impatient. Usually holding the most calmness, but she was very precise about her stuff. Picking your head up you finally voice your own frustrations. Keeping your voice low within your room walls not to wake the rabbit in question.
âdo you think i wanted to deal with this on my few days off? i would LOVE to kick her out. sheâs getting on my nerves. im very used to an animal with trust issues but this one is unwavering and destroying my stuff. And tho im willing to have all the patience in the world she has to goâ
You closed your eyes while rubbing your forehead. The exhausting and irritation spilling from your tone very clearly. The girls remained silent. Even Megan sat up to look at you carefully. You werenât usually like this either. You were the one usually advocating the opposite not in agreement which left them more puzzled about your intentions on bringing it back in the first place. Carefully Sophia broke the silence.
âso. why did you bring her?â
It wasnât a trick question yet you found yourself constantly asking the same thing by the second.
âi was in work mode and Yoonchaeâs attach to her. Kept asking if we could house her until she heals because she was in pain. she looked so concerned i didnât want to tell her no even if i knew this would happenâ
Daniela huffed unapologetically. She didnât feel sorry enough for it at least not compared to what was actually happening.
âShe was in pain? IM in pain MY stuff is in pain. I say put her back outside. If her survival skills are good enough sheâll be fine if not iâll find her on the side of a road eventually. eat her myself just to be pettyâ
Megan turned her head to the latina giving a cute smile of approval. Pettiness being one her fluent languages, sadly one of her favorite languages. You shook off the thought with a sudden tired determination that sounded much more like yourself.
âcan we please just tolorate it a little longer. for yoonchae sake at leastâ
The room fell still. Tension revealing the same shared heaviness before giving a simple non verbal agreement. It was for Yoonchae and silently it was for yourselves too.
Yoonchae sat on the couch watching Hazel limp around the living room anxiously. Every attempt to get her to stay still hasnât entirely worked yet. having woken from her nap the bunny decided to bring her to the living room with the intention of distressing her. It currently was the room farthest away from the others, currently the most empty to hopefully prevent anything elseâs being chewed or broken. Yoonchae kept her eyes on the girl, chest aching for her. To say she was attached was a bit of an understatement. She knew she was quite fond, maybe it was deeper maybe it wasnât. She just knew she wanted her to be okay even if it was taking longer than she expected.
âwhatâs wrong?â
Hazel groaned in frustration, irritation panic and restless all at once. Her ankle wasnât fully recovered by now. It could only heal so far with constant pressure but she was too stressed to stay still. Senses on high alert with the consistent scent of a human and other predictors so closely within the house. The bunny being the only thing she could tolerate. Developing her own disgusting and confusing feelings. But jackrabbits werenât built for companions. She didnât understand it. Why someone like her would feel so safe in an atmosphere like this while she felt so trapped and confined. That internal battle radiating through her tone as she paced back and forth.
âi keep telling you cottontail im not a pet. and how are you so calm in this place!?â
Quietly Yoonchae rose gently grabbing the rabbits wrist. Cupping her face softly in a hoped to get her to stay still which did work. Thrown off Hazel meet her eyes searching but unsure of what she was looking for. Temporary relief being the calmness of the voice in front of her.
ânothings going to hurt your hereâŠnot with me aroundâ
Longer ears lowering slightly. New unusual vulnerability in the moment hazel kept the eye contact even while shaking.
âyou keep saying that but but what if youâre not around and something happens to you..what if they take you from me tooâ
Yoonchaes eyes softened keeping her thumb gently against her cheek
âthey arenât like that i promise. youâll seeâ
The house continued to tip toe cautiously. Trying their best not to alarm the rabbits fragile scenes. The calmer she could get the faster she could heal. Finding ways to care for her without having to get to close, you left food at a distance only allowing Yoonchae to bring it to her directly for her to eat. Carefully you replaced the bandages when she was sleep to minimize push back while allowing Yoonchae to be what she saw when she woke up. The others noticed. The way hazel responded to the bunny the most. The lingering touches. The possible trust beginning to build. No one said anything quietly using it to their advantage until it could all be over.
Things seemed to be going better until tonight. You and Yoonchae now stood in the living room, the girls in the hallway at a respectable distance not to stir the situation further but close enough to jump in if needed. In animal form hazel was spiraling, distressed noises echoing, running into walls, knocking the curtains down. If she kept going she would hurt herself more and youâll be back where you started. Yoonchae stood close besides you eyes flashing with concern and confusion.
âwhatâs wrong with her?!â
With a clam sigh you kept your eyes on her movements trying to get close without alarming her more
âitâs apart of her instincts when jackrabbits feel stressed they panic and get self destructiveâ
You looked at the opened window in the corner, suddenly calculating her next possible movement to prevent it. As you expect she ends up doing exactly that. Aiming for the window to jump, your reflexes react faster than your brain. Gently catching her from behind to place her on the couch but in that process a striking pain pitched through your arm. Head whipping backwards she bit you casing you to drop her instantly. Scurrying to the corner hazel pressed her back to the wall, shifting to human to appear bigger to the threat.
Stumbling back your head lowered, holding your arm. It happened quickly. you knew better. For the sake of your conscious and l in panic you did it anyways. A jackrabbit bitting was a last resort not usually from aggression but defense. Still such unexpected actions could be paralyzing to the victim and the rabbit. As much as you wanted to move you didnât, you couldnât. Arm shaking you kept your head low to hide any potential tears, having to ride out the moment of shock for a few minutes more until you could feel a muscle again. There was no quicker fix. No immediate action needed. It wasnât venom just simply nerve disruption.
The room fell still. Dead silent and slow. The others in the hallways now circled you in concern. In panic. Hazel watched in confusion. Surly in her mind she also panicked, ironically she thought she did them a favor. Longing eyes darted to the bunny, searching for gratitude relief or approval. Yoonchaeâs expression was unreadable, standing in the middle she understood both sides. but remained to stunned to react. The air shifted uncomfortably, a thick switch was flipped. Several instants were triggered. Eyes hooded. Hardened. Breaths becoming heavy some more controlled then others.
Messy hair standing on end. Blacking out the fastest, sharp eyes locked directly on the target across the room. Laraâs claws popped out faster then she could process. Protective instincts stronger than her usual mind. Sophia held the coldest eyes. Dangerously unreadable. With the most restraint she simoly grabbed the tigers wrist. Holding it still gently but firm. All while never breaking eye contact. Not even blinking. Voice controlled but deeper than normal.
âYoonchae get. her out. nowâ
The bun blinks before finally reacting. Grabbing hazels hand without question tugging her to the door. Eyes apologetically falling on you. As your muscles slowly became feel-able you locked eyes with the bunny for a half second before she disappeared behind the closing front door. Yoonchae lead her outside about to let get go of her hand when Hazel shifted the position. Now moving to the front she pulled Yoonchaeâs hand with more force than necessary farther away from the building. In unexplained mixed emotions she pulled her hand away instantly stopping both there moments.
âwhat are you doing??â
Hazel tilted her head confused as if it was obvious.
âcome with me..you helped me even when i pushed you away. i want to do the same. your just like me, im saving you!â
Yoonchae shook her head voice barely above a whisper she was trying to understand.
âsaving me from what..â
Hazel huffed, thumping her non injured foot in agitation.
âFrom this!! from people the predictors from danger! Do you not want to be safe?â
Do you not want to be safe was a sentence Yoonchae replayed in her mind the moment she heard it leave the rabbits mouth. Eyes locked on the other girl, just as confused, just as desperate until suddenly it clicked. Safety seemed to be a thing that held a different meaning to everyone. The way sheâd also came from abandoned memories, discarded background but her instincts or worldview was never like this. Realizing her infatuation and intentions made her miss the prime rules of the animal kingdom. Instinct canât always be overridden. Survival wasnât an accident. It was an adaptation. Slowly she put the pieces together recalling the purpose of your first response that now made more sense. The lesson you wanted her to learn the whole time.
how can u save something that doesn't believe it's in danger how can you keep something that only believes it's danger you canât save something that doesnât want to be saved
In silent understanding she realized she didnât want to be saved either. She never had a reason to not trust you at least not yet and she was sure of it for the time being. With a single step back, hands closer to her chest Yoonchae shook her head again. Voice more certain then before with her conclusion something shifts, not just on life but something within herself.
âi donât think im like you at allâ
Without another word she turns around going home. She wasnât upset. She didnât look back. Didnât see the way Hazels ears flattened slightly. Unsure of how to process her own feelings. Lost usually came with fear. With pain. With no choice. That was the survival she was used to. That was the life sheâs accepted. This was different. Something sheâs never had to feel in the wild. Loss that came with longing. A door that felt like for once there was a choice. One she unfortunately didnât know what to do with at the time. A common shift back to her animal form she took off, wild legs sprinting forward with the freedoms she was accustomed to.
The days following were fragile. With your hand wrapped and healing you remained the same. There was no anger on your side either, you understood it for what it was. Truly you were more concerned with the others more than you were concerned with yourself. At work you continued to not pay it any mind. Moving things at a slower pace only so you could appear to not be struggling. Sophia noticed, as always keeping close watch on you. Her gentleness still existed in addition to a slightly unsatisfied edge.
At home the others felt the same. Instincts overprotective of you while over cautious of the younger bunnies state aswell. Everyone was recovering in some way. Lara stayed in her room for a while after that night. No teasing. No snacking just seated on the carpet. Tail curled ears low. Experiencing black out was normal for bigger predators though, she herself never experienced it. It wasnât a good feeling. She wondered if she was more dangerous then she realized. What that could mean for you and the others. If it was even a true concern or an accident that sheâd get over.
Yoonchae was a little more fine then she appeared to be, even though she also stayed in her room often. Quieter than usual yet she wasnât sad, just still processing. Lost but accepting. She assumed someone like her would fill something she might have been missing. Reveal something within herself she didnât have. Technically in a way it did. Just not the way she thought. Everyday after work with a soft knock you peaked in the room checking on your bun yourself. You would soon check on them all, but attachment bonds were a delicate thing. Different concern entirely.
Usually when you sat on the edge of the bed her eyes trailed to your hands followed by a small apology. Though she didnât do anything directly she felt understandably responsible and slightly guilty regardless. But today she didnât do that, keeping her eyes on the ceiling as she laied back on her bed. As soon as you settled in she hit you with the thing most presently stuck in her mind.
âi understand when you love something sometimes you let it goâ
Softly her eyes find yours
âbut how do you know if it will ever come back?â
You thought about it gently bringing your knees to your chest in the moment before your eyes reconnected with your bun.
âwell you donât. sometimes they come back. sometimes they donât. the most you can do is not blame yourself for it. your intentions werenât wrong it was actually really sweet. sometimes things just donât respond the way weâd like in that moment but that dosent mean it wonât ever respond at allâ
You then stood up to gently kiss her forehead before leaving her to rest alone. Yoonchae dosent know how long she stays like that in her room. Mind still wondering. Still thinking of the girl, the moments her voice and the way sheâs felt. But calmer from your reassurance. Soon a savory scent of food snuck into the room beneath her door. It must have been dinner time already.
With a sigh she stood preparing to leave before a thick tap hit her window suddenly. She froze for a moment before cautiously opening it. There was nothing until her eyes trailed down on the windowsill. A single red rose with a wrinkled note attached to the stem. A faint blush found her cheeks before she smiled softly. Cradling the rose she carried it gently to her desk looking over the wrinkled words once more before leaving to room. The paper blew slightly from the breeze from the window.
is it better for me to have a separate account for sfw/agere fics or to have one that's both sfw and nfsw?
I fear that if I idk change my phone I'll lose one of the accounts even though I use tumblr mostly on my notebook
well account wise it depends how you do it really. if you make two different blogs under the same account then you canât loose one if something happens to your main account youâll just loose the others with it bc itâs linked to one account. if you want one of the accounts entirely as like a backup one then you could separate it that way but youâd have to physically switch back and forth
content wise it depends on the look youâre going for some separate sfw and nsfw and others have one spot for both you may just have different rules for sfw requests and nsfw requests. me personally i have suggestive and sfw requests here in one spot only my agere and personal blogs are separate bc i donât write fics there. So it depends what u have in mind if that makes sense :p
