sorry this one took a while!! i've been busy with schoolwork haha. also, i haven't written in a good while, so im a little sturdy, apologies if this wasn't what you wanted!! A Day Off With Link (Twilight Princess)
You and Link have been adventuring together for awhile, ever since you met while he was traveling to Lake Hylia
After gathering mirror shards from around the kingdom, you both decided it was time for a well-deserved break.
You two planned to stay in Castle Town for an entire day, and relax while doing so.
You woke up to a pair of arms wrapped around your waist, and a pile of drool on your neck, while you were snuggling most of the blanket (both of you havenât slept on a bed in a good while).
Soon, you both left the inn and wandered around the cobblestone pathways of the bustling market.
Link purchased a glass bottle, âjust in caseâ he mumbled. You bought a red scarf, made from a soft silky fabric not found in Hyrule.
As Link was exchanging rupees with the merchant, you wrapped the scarf around his neck and tied it loosely. He turned to you with a sparkle in his eye, something you recognized as adoration, something you also shared.
Eventually you two ended up in front of the fortune tellerâs shop. You bounced on the balls of your feet nervously, as the last time you visited her she acted rather odd.
As Link opened the door (which squeaked louder than a mouse) she sat up rather abruptly, exclaiming âOoohhh⊠You two have returned at last.. Welcome back to Fanadiâs FooooooooortuneâŠâ
As she read your fortunes, she drawled, âYou twooo are destined tooooo live long togetherrrr... Youuu shall grow ooooold unitedâŠâ
While this was happening, both you and Link turned to each other, smiling with a knowing look.
Later, you both headed to Telmaâs bar, hoping to grab a meal before the sun disappeared.
As you sat sitting on the barstools, Link sipped on his bottled milk as you spoke with an excited tone, âIâm glad we could spend the day like this together..â you put your hand on top of his gloved one, which was laying on the counter.
You both grinned as he spoke silently, âI am too.â You loved hearing his voice, because it had a bit of a rough edge to his tone, as he didnât speak much..
Eventually the moon hung high in the sky, and you both went back to your rented room at the inn.
As you fell asleep facing each other, the pale moonâs glow highlighting each otherâs features in the darkness, Link murmured, âI love you.â
Just before you succumbed to the drowsiness overtaking you, Link could hear you whisper out ââMm.. love you too..â
The both of you slept peacefully, limbs entangled under the scratchy blanket, a few snores escaping once in a while, as when the stars were gone, you would have to face the dangers lurking in the shadows of twilight.
