THE BEAST WHO WAS NOT. he/him. 350+. toy maker, pack leader, jack-of-many-trades. an imposing figure at 6’5”. Eyes as cold and blue as ice. higher vampire of the Gharasham tribe. Stuck between the confusing worlds of men and his own kin, Dettlaff finds his true home along the wilder species of lesser vampires who most consider nothing more than beasts. A brooding man often ruled by his own emotions. Tender, untamed, passionate, stubborn. Hidden behind a cold exterior is a bleeding heart of gold: his seeming indifference to all around him masks how deeply everything makes him feel. He is a man who loves with every fibre of his being and whose purpose is to protect those he calls his pack. eternally at conflict with himself and the harsh world around him, looking for a place to belong and for those who might accept him.
