I drew you Kazama and Reiji ! I thought Kazama would show a softer side with him and Reiji would be more easy going with Kazama. I love the idea of them being laid back in each other presence, like when they're not battling they trust each other to the point of relaxation.
I noticed you liked WT characters in casual setting, so here they are in a park, with Reiji leaning on a cherry tree and Kazama sitting on a slide in true Kazama fashion.

So I recently picked up Volume 27 of WorTri and I have read through it three times already, but the part I can't stop going back to is this section at the end about the college-aged groups majors, ie. the 21-group + Azuma. So, I have them scanned below with my thoughts about each one. excuse the image quality please
Just the first page setting up the editors and their personalities, I really enjoyed seeing how their real-word experiences affected their answers.
Kazama has always been portrayed as a structured and rule-abiding person. In a Q&A, he was said to be the 2nd busiest character behind Arashiyama which is saying something since he's the face of Border. In the past I've thought of him as a business student since I personally think he's good at managing, but I do think law is more suitable for him. In the Black Trigger Retrival Arc he was the one to think that Yuma joining didn't really matter until the Black Trigger came into the mix and was distrupting Border's internal power dynamics, and further tells Jin and Arashiyama squad that internal agents fighting is against the rules. Hes always had an eye for sticking to the rules, but still being fair. Also law is a demanding degree path, and he seems like a good character to be disciplined enough for that.
Reiji is a muscle head yes, but he doesnt seem like the type to blow off school all together. In the U.S. we have Kinesiology and sports medicine programs that I think he would do well in, he has a leadership style that isn't rough or demanding which is perfect for physical therapy since he values personal growth and small steps. To get even more specific, I have seen about 5 guys that look like Reiji in Occupational Therapy so I think he would do great there.
Suwa is one character that I can't really give a definitive answer to what is degree path is. I can see him as a person who joined Border more so for helping others than destroying neighbors so I lean towards the humanities in that way, but I can also see him in business because it can make a decent amount of money without the stress of other degrees; that's not to say that he's lazy but he just doesnt seem like an academic bookworm. Does the idea that business majors fill in coloring books for homework exist in other countries? Kazama and Raizou probably make fun of him a lot.
Raizou is an engineer, thus he's an engineering student. He probably graduated early or maybe he had an internship at Border to get the job he has before graduating. I'm not sure if developing triggers is more physical or technical, but Raizou would excel either way. I bet he took every Trion related class that the University offered. Not much to say here!
Azuma was offered the role that Sawamura has at HQ so his talents are being recognized by the top Brass, but he still stays within the B/A-rank agents to support their development on a more personal level, almost every sniper in some capacity is under the Azuma family tree so education seems apt for him, he has a good eye for it. However, he also seems like he could go to graduate school for a topic that he is just interested in.
One thing I love about World Trigger is that it is constantly rare pair city up in here and I am living for it.
Since they were both in the upper B-rank squads they fought each other but never started talking before they were introduced to each other through Kitazoe.
It was clear to Yuba that Inukai was really horny and slutty, something Inukai admitted to almost instantly. They only interacted at Border for a few months, Inukai always making a move on Yuba and Yuba either outright rejecting him or ignoring him. This only fueled Inukai's commitment to toying with him.
Eventually Yuba accepted Inukai proposal to hang out and they ended up with their tongues down each others throats at Yuba's apartment. Yuba didn't really expect himself to be caught up in a friends-with-benefits situation but Inukai was hot and he more than willing to play with Inukai.
While this situation was going on Inukai would make bold moves on Yuba while at Border and whisper obscene things into his ear to get a rise out of him (one time being caught by Kikuchihara who was just passing by and definitely not wanting to hear about their sex life).
With the pair spending more time together, Yuba has been able to see through Inukai more easily and can tell when he's genuinely frustrated or angry.
On the other hand Inukai has always had trouble reading Yuba due to his stoic nature and is interested in Yuba partially because he's unpredictable in his eyes.
Yuba is the first one to realize he wanted something more than just sex and gave Inukai a kiss on the cheek one night. It was the first time Yuba had initiated a kiss and Inukai was surprised.
They started dating casually after that, and soon Inukai knew that Yuba was a great cook and very willing to destroy Inukai's perfect figure with food. He had to tell him to stop after giving him so much food he felt like he would vomit.
One of their favorite date spots is surprisingly the library where Yuba will find new recipes to cook and Inukai will try his best to study.
Oo, an interesting pairing indeed. I don't believe they have any canon interactions together but that just makes it more fun.
Ouji's attention was drawn towards Arafune whenever Kitazoe was talking about needing a tutor. After that moment it seemed like Arafune's name was floating everywhere in this life; first he heard it from a few members in class gossiping about Border Agents in their school, then it was Hiyami talking about a cute soccer player from the Prep School, and it finally ended with Murakami mentioning that Arafune was his Mentor.
Ouji couldn't help but look up his name whenever he was alone, and damn did he like what he saw. Arafune was definitely Ouji's type: rugged-looking, jacked, and a Border agent.
The first time they meet is when he's meeting Murakami for a study session and when he gets a look at Arafune, he can't help a smile forming on his face.
Whenever they eventually get together, everyone in their friend groups thought that they wouldn't last and that Ouji just wanted some arm-candy. As the months went by however Ouji became completely smitten for Arafune.
At first Arafune didn't even realize that they were going on dates until Inukai mentioned that going to the fair and going to restaurants alone while Ouji held his hand was not just 'friendly'.
Despite that, Arafune liked Ouji and actually relished in all the physical attention he got. He didn't consider himself someone that needed a lot of attention, but once Ouji gave it to him he realized how touch-starved he had been.
Arafune goes through different hobbies in waves and tried to get decent at them before moving onto something else. During these hobbies he would send waves of Instagram posts and TikToks to Ouji about what he was hyper fixating on that week.
Ouji liked that Arafune had a bunch of different hobbies and Arafune would also drag Ouji to different events and explain everything to him, while Ouji would just smile and nod, enjoying how much fun his boyfriend was having.
Ouji also liked that Arafune was very smart and capable of having real conversations with him. With his ex-boyfriends he had to dumb himself down, which really took a toll on him mentally but with Arafune he didn't need to (and Arafune would call him out on it if he tried).
Ouji has nicknames for everyone else but he likes saying Arafune's name instead of anything he could come up with. He says it has a nice ring to it and that not much else could top it.
Arafune is the type of dude that doesn't realize he has a boyfriend until he already has a ring on his finger.
size queen kazama pursues man of his dreams because he figures that even if it doesn't happen he'll stop having so much fucking anxiety about it. man of his dreams turns out to be kind of cool on a personal level. their first three dates are:

IKEA because hyuse and chika set the couch on fire while making out again (RIP)
so kazama's lease ran out and reiji really really wants to move out of tamakoma because his room is right in between Osamu and Yuma's and they think their trashy pop music strategy parties are quiet enough not to be heard and for the most part it is except for reiji's room, and hearing two teenagers ask each other questions like "in a survival situation which co worker would you kill and eat first" is really disturbing at 4am esp if you're the coworker who would be eaten.
so basically they move in together after three dates and immediately start acting like a couple who have been married for 10 years and have five children, except with much weirder sex. you know that aita post with like that one guy who got really turned on by exercise and realized he had been a dick to all his gfs? that's both of them.
Hii!! I have a req for headcanon? It's about what the golden trio of border (izumi, yoneya, and midorikawa) just cause they're my fave Headcanon about what kind of chaos they'd do during their free time? I hope these are within your rules hehe ty!
*Emerges from dumpster* How long was I trapped in there? And how long has this ask been sitting in my inbox?? I'll blame the dumpster for how long its taken me to get to this...
So, obviously these three are not the smartest trio in Border, but they know that and decide to spread more kindness than almost anyone else in Border.
They also happen to be the biggest pranksters at Border, not that it's any surprise. They can convince almost anyone to get in on their pranks if they try hard enough.
One time they convinced Kazama to scare Suwa by using Chameleon and messing with him and the rest of the Mahjong buddies. Suwa ended up almost strangling the attacker, and in return the golden trio was subject to Kazama's torment for the next week.
When exam season starts they are desperate to find someone to tutor them last minute, usually being Kodera or Narasaka since they're the closest and the easiest to convince. Their grades lacking is partly due to them being Border agents, but also them just not paying attention in class.
Since Izumi and Yoneya are in the same class at school the pair are especially lacking since their antics are amplified whenever they're together. The others in their grade have tried to help, but once you get them talking about any videogame they like you won't see them think about anything else for the next hour.
Despite that Izumi does have potential to be a good student, and sometimes feigns being ignorant on something for attention (which the other two will call him out on).
Since Yoneya's operating room is always dominated by the snipers of the squad, and Izumi's operating room is Kunichika's domain, the trio are mostly seen relaxing in the Kusakabe operating room since Midorikawa's squadmates are more put together and not as stingy with guests.
They frequently have movie and game nights and invite as many people as they can without Kusakabe getting mad and kicking everyone out. Special guests to these nights include: Mr. Shinoda, Yuma, Yuba, Touma, and Karasuma who likes chatting with his old squad mate.
They would definitely tease each other about their crushes and even purposely embarrass them qin front of each other.
