School Fight Punishments, To Get More Strict!
We learned that Superintendent James Derrylson, discussed increasing the punishment for in school fighting. He also discussed the punishments that would come with fighting in school.
“It is important to create a positive and safe work environment for all students, staff and faculty members. We can not allow fights to break out in school, because one it not only is dangerous, but it disrupts the education of each and every student. That is why it is so important to create stricter punishments for students who get into school fights.”
The superintendent said that if approved, the punishments would be set into affect by September 1, 2019.
Superintendent James Derrylson Speaks With Elementary Students!
Early Morning on June 3, 2019, District superintendent spoke with elementary students on how to deal with Bullying. During the session, he also read to the students.Â
“Its great getting to interact with students, because they are conformable, and you can really try to suede them to one way to deal with situations they may possibly find themselves in one day.” said Derrylson
At the end of the event he handed out district pins, which he said “would hopefully increase each child’s pride in their school district.”
“ I plan on visiting students more often” Derrylson added.Â
