Nora Max
Emma Watson For Vogue Australia (by Peter Lindbergh), 2018.
elysefz·:
âHave you seen a cat?â Elyse asked, poking her head into the room, speaking to the closest person. âSheâs white, tiny, likes boxes and only speaks Polish. It would be best to look up, she likes high places.â Â
Nora slowly lowered the cup she had been drinking her latte from, recognition hitting her like a ton of bricks. That voice was one that would stick with Nora for the rest of her life - she was certain of it. Elyse had been her best friend, or at least she had thought so until she left Nora in her most dire time. Slowly, stomach churning, Nora turned, a deadpan look on her face. âNo, Iâm afraid no cat has come wandering into this particular cafe. Try one down the road, perhaps.â
drxmacgreen·:
Cormac had just dove into the water to tug a little boy to the edge. He shook his head in disbelief that his parents had not even noticed the boy struggling to swim. âItâs alright, Iâve got you,â he reassured the little one. âNow maybe we both can help you find mum n dad aye?â He asked nodding as his brows knit looking around. Both slightly chilled from the cool are and the colder water the little boys lips were now turning a slight shade of lavender and the Doctor himself was trying not to shiver. âIâm sorry to bother you, but you wouldnât happen to know where or who this little guys parents are would you?â He asked giving her a slight smile as he made sure to keep the boy warm with his only towel. âI donât think he speaks english and Iâm rubbish with any other languageâŠâ
âOh!â Nora gasped, tossing her sketchpad to the side without any hesitation upon spotting the boy. She hardly gave the man a glance. Scurrying to her knees, she cupped the boyâs face comfortingly and smoothed his hair out of his face. âEr...Est-ce que tu parles français?â Slowly, the boy nodded, clearly shaken up from his struggle in the water. âOĂč sont tes parents?â He quickly pointed in the distance towards a bustling restaurant. Nora took the damp towel from the boyâs shoulders - it was probably doing more harm than good at this point - and replaced it with the one she had been lounging on moments before. Turning her attention to the man for the first time, still kneeling on the sand, Nora informed him, âNow we know where you need to go...They look like theyâll have a very strict no shirt, no shoes policy, however,â she joked dryly.
rcmvncv·:
âUnnskyldning,â he said stopping the first person on the street. âKan du â vet du hvor dette stedet er?â He held out a map and pointed at the marked spot on it. The Norwegian he was using was shaky and terribly mispronounced â but it was the product of the 101 he had taken when he had decided to travel to the neighbouring country. He should have found himself a bodyguard who spoke the language, perhaps in that case he wouldnât have had to be the one doing the talking.
Nora stuttered to a stop, fresh coffee in hand and stared up at the man politely. It was a language she had heard plenty of times considering the two countries neighbored each other- Norway and Sweden. If she focused hard enough, she could almost recognize some of the words. If only she had studied the language. Her expression was a mixture of apology and confusing. âI do hope you speak English. Iâm terribly sorry, but I donât know Norwegian.â
i am afraid that if i open myself i will not stop pouring. (why do i fear becoming a river. what mountain gave me such shame.)
Jamie Oliveira, âErosionâ (via wordsnquotes)
For so long you focused solely on surviving that you forgot how to laugh. But most importantly you forgot how to live.

lilyshiliu·:
lily teetered her way out to the beach, the heels she wore clearly not meant for the terrain. she was searching for nora, after waiting outside her room for fifteen minutes. â youâre excused. not from the meeting we were supposed to have though. â she said lightly, still standing in the way of the sun, one hand on her hip. â iâm slightly offended. my hourly rate is too expensive to forget a meeting. â she joked.
Nora sighed heavily, closing her sketch pad. She never had any problem with the business side of her title. It was the remembering, the scheduling that she had a difficult time with. The Swedish woman stood, grabbing her shoes. âAre you sure you wonât let me hire you on a salary? It would really make it easier for me, having a full-time public relations manager, you know.â
giorxcci·:
âNora,â Gio repeated allow, hopping to remember this time. Luckily she said it before he could spew out âNina.â âI, y-yeah, Nora!â There were many names for the city, âThe city of Masks. Didnât think weâd ever meet after you practically dashed out. I thought one would at least expect breakfast?â He was only somewhat joking. âOslo seems to be an optimal vacation spot at the moment. When do you leave?â It came out harsher than expected. The Italian wasnât intentionally being rude. The two met as strangers and left knowing more about each other than comfortability would allow. It was easy sharing them since he could fabricate parts, leaving identity to the imagination.Â
His lack of memory of the event was less than impressive. Though, to be fair, he was the type. A pretty face like that would have no trouble or quarrel with sleeping with plenty of women. Nora had known as much that night. âOh, donât worry, I still enjoyed a beautiful Italian breakfast of coffee, berries, bread, and ricotta. I figured you wouldnât be missing out on much, hm?â She teased, a little smirk on her lips. Her hands rested on her hips as she stared up at the man she had shared such an...intimate night with. âWell, Iâm sorry to disappoint, but I am here for the foreseeable future.â
brucemacalpin·:
Bruce nodded his head, still thinking apologizing is needed when disturbing someoneâs peace and wanting his children to understand it. The king heard his daughter thank the woman for the compliment with a smile on her little features and smiled. âYes, sheâs my daughter. Iâm Bruce, thatâs Skye and those right there-â he pointed to the boys playing around not so far from him. âAre Roy and Finn. Pleasure to meet you, Nora.â
Nora stood to her feet, smiling as she watched the boys messing around on the beach. âYou have a very beautiful family, Bruce.â She could only wish that she, herself, would one day have a family of her own. âItâs very fortunate that they get to have a safe haven in the midst of all this chaos.â

giorxcci·:
âPamela, sei sempre irritato! Stop schmoozing Bertone, th-â It felt like a buzz, no, someone was speaking to him. âYeah?â Gio didnât budge, remaining in the same spot with phone in hand. âForgot what I was saying,â the person on the line continued to chirp away but his mind drifted else where. Something about the tone of the girlâs voice sounded all too familiar. âActually, excuse me, I recognize your voice and and I justâ maybe itâs someone else.â He was never good with names anyways.
Nora huffed out an impatient sigh, leaning back into her chair and staring up at the man all the while, her face somewhat irritated. She hated when people couldnât live without their phones glued to the hands or faces and this person seemed to have it attached to him surgically. As she stared up at him, something about him seemed incredibly familiar...her chocolate eyes analyzed him from the tip of his head to his toes and..."Herregud!" Nora gasped, one of her hands clapping over her mouth. âItâs you! But...it canât be!â She quickly stood to her feet, her sketch pad clasped against her chest. âI am Nora...We...met a couple years ago. In Venice.â
