“You’re getting so strong, Shinsou-kun! But is something bugging you?”

To most people this would just be the teens ‘natural concern’ that he seemed to have. The ability to know when people needed to talk, a shoulder to cry on, whatever you may call it. But honestly his Quirk was just telling him that there was something wrong and he wanted to know. It was just lucky that they were ‘showing off’ to each other when he noticed. “I’m open if you… need to talk?”

“Nope.” Shinsou snapped his response quickly. He was of course, worried, but when wasn’t he? Well, okay maybe this time it was a little more serious than usual. Shinsou had been training harder than ever and was still worried he wouldn’t be able to get into the hero course. He didn’t know how to do anymore than he already was. That didn’t mean he wanted to talk about it. “And even if I were upset about something, why would I talk to you about it?”

“Aha, right, sorry.” he put his hands up defensively, sweating slightly. Maybe he had pushed a little bit too soon there. “You just seemed... distracted.. so I wanted to make sure everything was okay.” he replied, keeping his tone quiet. He didn’t want to seem too forceful, or to get himself into some kind of trouble with the other student. “I don’t know why, but I thought I’d... offer anyways?” he shrugged.

“Misunderstood?” He seemed confused on what the other had thought, although he knew it was better not to pry. 

“Are the freckles natural? I’d never met anyone with them before now so I’m a little curious.”

“Natural?” he blinked, bringing a hand to his cheek for a moment before nodding, sheepish. “Yeah! They are! I honestly didn’t know Freckles could be unnatural... or, I guess you could do that with makeup, huh..?”
