niko followed his wifeâs gaze, wiping his foot and sandal once the rag was within his reach. he pressed his lips together at the baby blue tinge left on his foot. âor ⌠we could go into the cabinet and just get some cleaning supplies.â he spoke half heartedly, knowing her enough to let her own thing. he took a few more steps into the apartment, limping slightly in case his foot still held paint. âvinegar could work with stains too.â he spoke up, pulling out a water bottle from the fridge.
Nova paused in her steps as she jumped onto the couch. âYou always pick the complicated route.â Nova teased as she typed on the computer. She gave a big smile to the other. âVinegar! Thatâs what these results say!â Nova smiled. âDid I ever tell you, you are a genius, honey.â Nova said as she went to the cabinet. âShould we use apple cider or white vinegar?â Nova asked holding out the bottles.Â

âEXCUSE ME,â she called after the woman, âwhere did you get your dress?â
Nova paused and walked backward. âMy dress?â Nova asked. She gives a smile. âI got it from a thrift store at the corner.â She smirked. âBut I added some sequins to give it that extra sparkle.â She did a small twirl. âWhy you ask?â Nova wondered.
vurasismsâ:
â oh i think SOMETHING could be arranged.  tell me⌠how desperate are you for gainful employment ? i could help you out ⌠for a price. â
âI would like any type of employment.â She strummed the instrument. âJust enough to get art supplies and the basics utilities.â She stood up. âAnd a new phone for my husband.â Nova winked. She smiled. âWhatâs your price?âÂ
simplydxveâ:
She raised a brow, eyes noticing the ukulele and her eyes widened. âWhat⌠What is that?â
âOh my ukelele?â Nova asked raising the instrument slowly. âI got this from an airport-I added the sparkles though,â Nova said. She handed it to the other. âI can teach you how to use it.âÂ

Vicki thought for a moment. âThings probably have changed in the past thirty years.â Yikes, she did not even think about it. How math could be different, it couldnât be right? She let out a soft laugh when she snapped out of her thoughts. âWell, thatâs good that you arenât living in a box.â
Nova shook her head. âThey might have just tweaked some stuff but I donât think itâs anything major. Nova smiled. âOf course not! I donât think I would survive if I wasnât grounded.â Nova held out her hand. âIâm Nova.âÂ
âIâll sing you a song for a job opportunity.â Nova smiled as she strummed a tune on her ukelele. it was unorthodox but more direct then applying online. âIâll also accept cash.âÂ

âNot really, today just called for a shot or twenty.â Anna smiled when Nova took the drink.Â
âDid anything happen today?â Nova asked, looking curiously at the other. Nova smiled at the bartender, trying to make sure they would get some privacy. âAnother round for both of us.â
vickidonxvanâ:
âWell, Iâm trying to take a test to get my high school diploma.â She mumbled before sighing. âBut the material is so boring.â She raised an eyebrow. âAre you an artist?â
âHigh school is boring but I imagine it must be worse in test form.â Nova remarked with a chuckle. âI consider myself one yes despite not going to a fancy art school.â She shrugged. âBut Iâm not starving too much.â She jokes.

at the familiar face, and the words of apology, elena shakes her head, waving it off because it wasnât needed â- it was just her being nervous about this new adventure, and scared that fate was probably sneaking up on her. â no â you donât need to apologise, itâs just me, iâm a little â- no, a LOT on edge.â she breathes, laughing, a hint of a smile at her mouth. â oh, was it the best day of your life ? itâs always said that itâs the BEST DAY of a girls life. iâve thought about my wedding since i was a child. i used to always talk to my mother about it, about when iâd grow up â- and meet my prince.â she laughs again, shaking her head in embarrassment. â as you can see, i used to think i was a princess ! but â- but iâm here now ⌠because itâs actually happening.âÂ
Nova looked at the other in concern. âYou are always free to use your imagination around me.â Nova gave a sincere smile. âIt was one of the best days in my life. Then seeing my husband becoming a citizen is a close second.â Novaâs smile increased. âAre you saying you found your prince charming?â Nova inquired her excitement showing in the question. It was exciting to hear such words.
savvyxtaylorâ:
âI think that was the most incredible first date Iâve ever been on,â she chirped happily to the person next to her. âI mean really Iâve never met anyone as sweet as him.â
âThatâs good news!â Nova exclaimed with a smile. She moved to the table next to her. Nova loved hearing about love stories.âMind telling me more about this gentleman?âÂ
ofthezhousâ:
âYouâre gonna do another shot with me, right?â She handed the other person the glass whether they wanted it or not.
âIâll do my best-â Nova said drinking the second shot. She has drunk before but only on special occasions. Nova made a face before talking. âSo you do this often?âÂ
Thatâs NOVA JIRAKIT-ISIDOROÂ Sheâs 26 years old and a Oracle. She may be +Creative, +Determined, & +Reliable but sheâs also -Naive, -Cowardly & -Stubborn.

âinsublim dagiti pintam jay kwartom, kankanayon!â the man couldnât stop the shouting, fueled by his condition (he would call it over species). he sighed a few seconds later, his eyes dropping to the paint on his foot and the floor. âthis is going to stain. great.â he sighed again, looking back up at her. âhoney.â he responded back, the word still felt odd, though it slipped out of his mouth so casually these days. âwe need to stop being forgetful of our things.â his eyes locked on hers at the we. âcan you hand me a rag and something to clean this up?â
Nova only flinched a little. It was hard sometimes being only able to understand Thai but she knew enough that it involved the paints. Nova nodded as she grabbed the rag. âI thought I put it back with my supplies.â She looked at the stain on the rug. âTheyâre must be another way to do it.â She snapped her fingers. âIâm going to look it up online!!â Nova said looking for her laptop.
vickidonxvanâ:
Vicki waved her hand. âNo harm.â She looked at the book in hand before shrugging. âJust studying for nothing I guess. Iâve been reading random stuff.â She looked at the other. âAnd yourself?â
Nova gave a small smile. âI see.â Nova looked at the other. âItâs always important to study new things-you never know when it will come in handy.â Nova looked at her book. âLearning more about the modern art styles- Post Impressionism is the one I currently obsessed with.â
vickidonxvanâ:
Being so wrapped up in her studies, she didnât even notice the library filling with people or even someone approaching the table she was at. She was taking notes off of things she thought was important. Jumping at the whisper, she looked up. âOh.â She looked around before nodding. âKnock your socks off.â She gestured to an empty seat.
Nova smiled and settled in the empty chair. âSorry to interrupt again. Itâs just hard to find an empty table these days.â She giggles to herself. âSo what are you up to?â Nova asked seeing the notepad on the table.Â

âokay lang kami âtoy san fran, ma. haan â ammom âsuna.â he nearly had to kick the door open with the key hanging in the keyhole, his hands preoccupied with a one man tent and heavy duffle hanging behind him. âwun ma. addak âtoy balay. bye. â bye ma.â he answered with a small smile. it took a few steps into the apartment for that smile to drop, paint splattered all over his foot and the floor. âukeninayo! bwisit. nova!â
Nova was whistling as she painted. She felt like she was missing something. The blue paint! She looked at her side when she heard it. âukeninayo! bwisit. nova!â She walked into the living room and saw the mess. âSo thatâs where it went...â Nova looked up and gave a sheepish smile. She knew she was going to be in trouble. âHi, honeyyyy.â
