a corruption au where yuuji's soul ends up contorting and distorting due to the influence of sukuna's soul. sukuna takes interest in the way yuuji's soul reacts to him, so he puts the pressure on to see just how hard yuuji will crack under his influence. yuuji ends up gathering immense power after absorbing all the cursed energy that sukuna gathers from his rampages. because of the co-dependent tie to sukuna's soul, yuuji remains within malevolent shrine with no desire to leave. sukuna uses this to his full advantage, egging opponents on with a small warning that if they touch his soul it isn't him that will be the one they answer to. humans and curses alike never learn, and time after time again they have to come face to face with the former vessel turned monster. former friend, or strange new curse, it doesn't matter to yuuji. should anyone attempt to tread on the ground shared between him and sukuna, he'll rip them to shreds.
