The guy finally got his own anthro reference after half a decade :D I’m happy for him!
Version with wings:
I love when people try to gotcha me on my stance that all sports should be gender integrated with "even American football???" because I can instantly come back with "oh lmao, no, I don't think ANYONE should play American football at all, it's way too dangerous" like nice try but I know no amount of testosterone is going to protect you from the profound, life ruining health issues caused by getting repeated severe concussions over the course of several years. No one should play this sport.
Welcome to the bear hotspring !
Haven't posted in 5 years ❤️🩹❤️🩹 (8 days)
Unoriginal, I know 🥹🥀
Also prolly my last bloodymary post, sorry for all the ppl who followed only for bloodymary content :’)
Christine Daae is a grief-stricken girl. The one person that mattered to her most in the world died and left her orphaned. She looks for him everywhere but can’t seem to find him. Until one day the angel he promised to send her seemingly comes. Is it far fetched? Maybe to a normal person sure. But Christine isn’t a normal person, she’s a shell of who she used to be. The grief she feels is all consuming, and finally maybe there is a source of solace for it. A sign from her father, a path that will lead her back to to him and who she used to be. But of course it’s a lie, a trick done by another whose life is also full of grief. Just a different type. I truly believe part of her loves Erik because he gave a piece of her father back to her, but another part of her resents Erik because he took it away again.
okay i am fighting demons to not rb that caricature onto my own blog because reasons but i also want to point out the inclusion of non-sam aro flag (the blue and green one) and im too tired to fully explain why its grinding my gears but its just. a fun extra layer of bullshit. like. no, no, its so cool you think trans men are xyz to be reduced down into a caricature and treated as a riff for laughs and hate fuel among a bigoted transmedicalist crowd, hey nice inclusion of that niche often over looked aro identity, i'm certain you have normal words to say about aro's too. you don't even have to answer this ask because aspec discourse isn't generally your wheelhouse i just. i need to get the thoughts out of my head because. of all the places to see the non-sam aro flag outside of aromantic spaces (which is really the only place it's known), what a space to see it! what a fucking space to see it. okay i'm done now.
Nah I'd say it's in my wheelhouse; people need to treat aspec peeps with respect.
I didn't even notice it (I don't memorize flags that well), so good catch.

to clarify, they took these notes over time and the "holy fuck" is that moment where you step back and look at everything and are like "jesus christ this is crazy". also, since i know it'll be brought up:

Glasses nuked cause i dont feel like drawing them, which kinda fits this comic.
i don't understand any of the people who accuse you of of being tfem, because no tfem would be this obsessed with an ugly man lmao
Wh. What. What in the transmisogyny are you even saying.
Me being transmasc has... nothing to do with the fictional character I happen to like right now?
Also like. Wow. Y'all really hate straight transfems don't you? So what if a transfem was obsessed with an ""ugly"" man. Ugly is subjective bullshit. Maybe more transfems would be obsessed with guys you think are ugly more often if you didn't treat them like shit.
what being a "man" means to me: experiencing my gender in a masculine way
what being a "man" doesnt mean to me: experiencing my gender similarly to a cisgender male
what "having a masculine experience of gender" means to me: using things/terms typically associated with masculinity to express myself; or, subverting typical masculinity entirely while still claiming it as my own masculinity
what "having a masculine experience of gender" doesn't mean to me: identifying as male, wanting to blend in with cisgender men, or to have certain sex traits typically seen as 'male'
-🤍-
being a nonbinary man doesn't mean im male or occupy a similar social position to normative men (cis dyadic etc. men). that's actually the entire point of me using the word nonbinary.
nonbinary people are not some third gender that either gets tacked on to being a man/woman, or just exists on its own. nonbinary people are people with gender identities that do not fit the strict male-female binary. some nonbinary people are male and/or female, but not all are.
and i feel like we could all save a lot of time if we remembered that "man" & "male" are non synonyms, and neither is "woman" & "female."
they are treated as synonyms by cisheteropatriarchy, but it is crucial that you understand these terms have different connotations and are used in different ways, even within cisnormative discussion.
"man" & "woman" are more personable terms. they more clearly describe identity and have a more social connotation. "male" & "female" are more associated with clinical, scientific, or political discussion. all these terms are used within their contexts to reinforce various aspects of the binary.
people are first categorized as "male" or "female" by observing their appearance. then the gender "man" or "woman" is socially imposed on them, depending which is seen as 'acceptable'. gender assignment is a process that starts at birth, but continues throughout our lives.
nonbinary men face so many issues, especially as we begin the transition from who we were told we had to be, to who we actually are. we are constantly at the mercy of people trying to impose all sorts of contradicting gender norms onto us.
this is true for pretty much all TGNI people (trans, genderqueer, gender nonconforming, nonbinary, and intersex people). all of us are held to impossible standards because of the binary, and we all have to be careful not to enforce that binary on each other.
[ i used being a nonbinary man as an example but i am also a nonbinary girl! i am transneutral & transmascfem as well ]

ID: a youtube video titled "a Japanese guy with schizophrenia cooks a miso soup." by Yutaka with schizophrenia, showing him holding up a bundle of Japanese spinach. attached are different comments below the video.
1: hi. i am schizophrenic too. its nice to see people like me, i know it's hard but it'll all be okay.
2: i'm a cook with psychosis! you're a good content creator! i like you getting into prices and stuff.
3: i just wanted to say i'm also schizophrenic. my parents made me learn to cook when i turned 12. i'm 29 now and haven't lost my love for cooking. thanks, both for inspiring people to cook and for teaching them that schizophrenia isn't scary.
4: hello! i live in russia with some kind of disorder (i tend not to ask my doc to not scare myself, just silently and happily eating my meds...which somehow tend to be for schizophrenic folks? haha). and because my diagnosis is very light, i have the strength to support all my neurodivergent schizo and affective friends out there. we're all get through and live a happy life eventually... and eat delicious food! cheers to you, chef!
5: both of my brothers have schizophrenia-- one of them is schizoaffective and the other is just classic schizophrenia. i appreciate you sharing yourself with the world because people need to see that schizophrenia is NOT scary!! schizophrenia is just a different way of experiencing life.
