Thinking about Lightning learning to do domestic activities with Sally for the first time. No one really payed attention to him as a child, so he was never taught basic cooking, cleaning, housekeeping, etc. skills. Then, when he made his big break in the racing world, his team took care of all those things for him.

When Lightning takes a break from racing for the first time, he realizes he likes the simplicity, the silence of folding clothes.

Sally is shocked to see her partner take an interest in household chores. Her friends tell her it's a pain to get their men to pick up after themselves, but she can't relate.

Angst ahead:

This information is shocking to no one, but Ripslinger is lonely af. No one wants him once they get close enough to see who he really is, and he alienated his family long before he made it big. He can't even get a dog or cat to keep him company with all the traveling he does for his racing career.

The closest people he has are Ned, Zed, and his publicity team. They're only there for the money, but Rip is unhealthily attached to them anyway. He pesters and overshares to anyone who's obligated to interact with him, oblivious to how needy he's coming across.

Some family stuffs today, specifically "How many siblings did everyone have"? (note: I only listed the main folks, I haven't delved too far into others yet or those that I have just didn't end up on here for time reasons)

Cars:

Lightning: only child

Mater: just the one older sister

Doc: had two younger brothers & an older sister

Cruz: Baby of a house of boys - has four older brothers, help

Storm: only child / has one younger half-brother he didn't meet

Sally: has a twin brother

Finn: wouldn't you believe it, he's got one younger sister

Holley: only child

Miguel: he's here specifically for me to say he has an UNGODLY amount of siblings; last we checked it's like, twelve. Shu should be afraid.

Planes:

Dusty: has one older brother

Skipper: second oldest of five, with two sisters and two brothers

Chug: one older sister

Dottie: only child / adopted Chug and Dusty as younger brothers

Sparky: two younger sisters

Ripslinger: middle child with a sister on either end (sucks to suck bro)

Thinking about Skipper playing windows flight simulator for the first time. Dusty and all his pilot friends love the game, so Skipper wants to see what all the fuss is about. He crashes many times, much to his embarrassment.

When Dusty finds out, he calls Chug and they teach Skipper how to play. There's a lot of excited shouting involved, but Skipper wouldn't have it any other way.

Hi everyone! Sorry about not posting these past two weeks. I started working again (my health is improving yayy), and I've also been down bad for a literal computer in this new dating sim (don't ask /j).

Anyway, I wanted this week's post to be centered around Disability Pride Month!

I headcanon that Dusty and Chug were two autistics who bonded over their special interest in aviation. They always mask the least when they're around each other, and their conversations bounce back and forth at a pace that feels the most natural to them.

(Inspired by a neurodivergent affirming friendship I have irl)

because they're usually pre-planned to schedule but I had an extra thought for it

Blade was very early to protest any form of plastic surgery down the line during his acting career. Nick figured he'd probably get something or another done down the line, but never made actual decisions.

Dusty has also been asked throughout racing if he'd ever be considering it, and while he's not 100% sure about it, he's also not really that into the idea. He appreciates all his body scars.

Long Ge has tattoos that depict the motifs of gu poison along many venomous Chinese mythological creatures: the nine headed Xiangliu with Chinese cobra hood marks (in place of the snake) on the back, the centipede wrapping around the upper left arm, the scorpion poised with stinger over the heart, the toad just above his right hip, and the spider weaving a web around the right wrist.

UCOPWednesday:

Mater sculpts. He's been doing it casually for years and years and years, and been competing with some of them at county fairs. Only after he met McQueen did his hobby start taking off, as his sculptures have a place on the LMQ merch store online.

Now, tons of folks all over like to purchase their own little sculptures of things, made by their favorite racer's best friend.
