and in japanese culture, these words are usually discouraged to be put in movies or shows because then it would devalue the meaning of the phrase— it’s such a beautiful form of love that the japanese people don’t approve of putting it in shows.

Mikado is actually Rihito’s moral compass in the manga, but i can’t find any panels unfortunately.
