Sorry it took me so long to reply, I have a full time job and when I did post that post I actually didn't expect anyone to interact at all, lol. I will be keeping @'s out of this, as I don't want to cause Too Much drama, but I think it's important to communicate. Also, these are off the top of my head, and there's really only two people I can think of?
Also, I do bring receipts, all of the links are either to Tumblr posts or studies that I searched for that I either remembered existed or knew probably did, tbh. A lot of this stuff is a little older, and I can understand that some people change and grow but I get the distinct impression that they probably haven't, lol.
I don't encourage going out and actively harassing either of these people. Just block them. At the end of the day, they're still people, and all harassment does is hurt the people you're trying to "defend". I think my major issue with the whole Christian LU server debacle is that a lot of people did go out and harass creators, and I don't think that really did much. It revealed some bad actors, but I guess since they're still pretty influential in the fandom it went right back to doing nothing.
Anyways, there's Skyloftian Nutcase, who has used tags like "lovely alassee earfalas" on their posts as recently as May 7th, 2024. Which, if I'm not mistaken, was far after the conservative christian LU server--they have even recommended posts from alassee where they admit they're still in contact with her. I remember her getting an ask about the whole debacle when it happened, where she said that usual hateful rhetoric that poses itself as "faithful Christianity" (I support gay people, but not their life style) but I honestly can't find it, so don't quote me on that. It's not fact until I can find evidence, it very well could have been someone else, lol.
Bokoettochild, otherwise known as Flamingidiot on a03, is also another person who's shown hateful ideology in the past. Similar case to Skyloftian here with the "christian love" disguising hateful ideas. They've called being gay a "lifestyle" or "choices" in the past. Just to be clear, if Ketto's actually reading this, being gay is not a choice. THis isn't about your religion, this is science. If you can accept there's gravity, even though the bible never makes reference to it, or that the sky is blue because light reflects across water droplets in the sky, maybe you should come to terms with being gay not being a choice. Because it isn't. It's far more complex than that--but anyway!
Also, lol. Christians aren't oppressed. "Oppressing eachother" Christians make up 29 to 30% of the population, if I'm not mistaken, and I don't know if you saw the very unconstitutional law that Texas passed recently forcing schools to put the 10 commandments in their school. LGBTQ people are still oppressed today, we face the real threat of having our right to marry taken away again. (iirc, it's currently being challenged, but it might not reach the Supreme Court). Nobody STILL says dumb shit like "hate the sin love the sinner" to you about being a Christian, nobody threatens your right to marry the opposite gender, schools aren't trying to look under the hoods of children and using YOU as an excuse. Or...uh...lol, I mean I guess they are, but I mean under the guise of oppressing you.
I agree that Christians are often percieved with a level of hostility. BUT TO BE FAIR, it's hard not to associate Christianity with pain and hurt when Jesus is always used as a shield for the hateful ideologies of the few (and to be clear, I am not saying hating LGBTQ people is part of the Christian belief, because it's not).

You might be saying "uh...what's bad about that? there's gay predators just as there are straight predators" and this is true! kind of. It might be a good idea to go into the psychology of predators, but predators are not experiencing sexual attraction. Nobody says this about straight people--that there are straight predators--it's a dog whistle. Predators aren't going after boys because they're attracted to them, they're going after boys because they're attracted to power. In fact, most predators are heterosexual. Boketto has said multiple times on her tumblr, I'm sure you can find it, that she's "not homophobic" and that she's "not transphobic" but that's not how it works. She might not be intentionally hateful towards homosexual people, but that doesn't change the fact that a lot of her beliefs and worldviews are. This is a discussion for another day, cause y'all ain't ready for this one, but you can be a bigot and just not know it. That doesn't inherently make you a bad person, it's just how you choose to unpack and work on it that can dictate that (or, I suppose in this case, the lackthereof).
That being said, Boketto and Nutcase have been solid on their ideas. They've both definitely heard how harmful this is, but they just flatly ignore it. A safe space for everyone is a safe space for nobody. I'm sure I'll hear "but we can interact with people who have different beliefs than us!" and that's true. About things like opinions on food, diet or favourite animal. the LGBTQ community are not animals. They're people. End of discussion. If you're friends with someone who'd turn a blind eye to the oppression of gay people, or directly support and uplift the voices of people who absolutely would leave you to die, then the smartest idea is remove them from your life. Or, have a discussion first (communication IS important) and then remove them if they show no improvement.
Finally, I would like to ONCE AGAIN clarify that I'm not supporting harassment of these creators. Do not send them asks, do not send them hate dms, just block them and move on. Going out of your way to spend time out of your day to send hate solves absolutely nothing, and it wastes energy that could be used for some real actual change. Go donate to an LGBTQ fund or idk draw AOL Link kissing Botw Link idk do whatever, fly free.

Alassee is the owner of a server created by and for conservative Christians. "technically" LGBTQ people are allowed on there, but considering one of the reasons they made the server was because the fandom was, and I quote, "queering the Links into oblivion" I get the distinct impression they aren't very well accepted in the server. the good old Christian love-hate. Other prominant people in that is Mad-Navi, Fidget-the-Crazy and a few others. I don't think they have much a presence anymore in the fandom, being fair, so I didn't even think to mention them.

Well, the usage of AI already has been proven to be extremely harmful. I don't really give a shit about the purpose on the surface, Ai is extremely harmful and damaging in just about every capacity? With very few exceptions. To me, it just reads as a way to use children as a shield to have more invasive ways to harvest people's information to give to advertisers (and, furthermore, make spaces more "consumable" for advertisers. ) it's not a function made to protect children; it falls under the same category of things that use children as a scape goat to harvest people's ibformations or stave the flow of "distasteful" information like LGBTQ rights, or political discussion that doesn't favour rhe proletariat, so to speak.
That being said, if this was brought up because of my distaste for certain discord servers allowing porn to be posted in spaces where minors can access it I REALLY need you to understand that's not even close to the same thing? Discord is a CHAT room. You're meant to ibteract and talk with people. Youtube is not a discussion form; it's youtube video not youtube chatroom.
Personally, I think that there should just, in general, be more spaces allotted to kids. When I was younger, places like Animal Jam (only thing I can think off the top of my head sorry 💀) were lovely for children. Uh....aside from their struggle to handle cases of paedophiles.
Nowadays, every space is a space that's age homogeneous, so to speak. I don't think the solution is to just make it worse, but rsther to still try our best to make sure predators don't have the perfect opportunity to groom children, lol. Also like. I'm not new to this fandom. I've been here since 2020, and more active in 2021. I've seen countless dramas in this fandom, I've seen them unfold and watched everyone neglect it and move along like it never happened. People still reccomend Alasse's posts like she didn't xreate an entire server where the central point was to be exclusionary to gay people, and a server that spits pro Trump rhetoric.
And I see it again, in certain discord servers I won't mention, that find it entirely permissiable to post porn in spaces minors and adults can freely access, with zero warning labels mind you. They added an age restricted channel but disallowed porn there (but the channel for everyone is still open for porn!) It's fucking creepy, and nobody points that shit out. Nobody sticks up for their morals--where's your backbone? Your rage?
A safe space for everyone is a ssafe space for nobody. Allowing negligent people, homophobes, pro-trump voters, etc into the same space as minorities & children is foolish. They don't care about acceptance, it'll drive everyone else out. I know I don't feel comfortable in LU fandom spaces, as a queer person, knowing that its perfectly acceptable and okay to say dumb shit like "I don't support the gay life style!" And still have signifcsnt influence over the fandom as a whole.
