Today is one of those days when my suicidal thoughts are abundant, demanding, and overwhelming. My boyfriend left for work just a few minutes before I got off, and texted me saying he had packed a bowl for me and stashed it inside his Star Wars lunchbox. I spent nearly two hours in self-loathing and wallowing before deciding to calm myself down by smoking. Inside the lunchbox, along with the packed bubbler he got me as a birthday gift, was a little sticky note saying "I love you beautiful." That was all it took for me to break down in tears. The thoughts won't ever really go away. But knowing that I'm truly loved and cared for is enough to keep me from acting on them. Now, the goal is to learn to love myself the way I'm able to love others... Thank you, baby. You have my eternal gratitude.
