Reporter: I have a question to Robert and to Scarlett. Firstly to Robert, throughout Iron Man 1 and 2, Tony Stark started off as a very egotistical character but learns how to fight as a team. And so how did you approach this role, bearing in mind that kind of maturity as a human being when it comes to the Tony Stark character, and did you learn anything throughout the three movies that you made?
And to Scarlett, to get into shape for Black Widow did you have anything special to do in terms of the diet, like did you have to eat any specific food, or that sort of thing?
Scarlett: How come you get the really interesting existential question, and I get the like, “rabbit food” question?
The respect given to you if you’re a man in the entertainment business, and the respect given to you if you’re a woman in the entertainment business: all perfectly summed up in one idiotically thought out line of questioning.
You know, I always did like Scarlett Johannson.
Dat side-eye.
Let me just hug you forever Miss Johannson.
Scarlett Johansson gives the best side-eye.

relax, unwind
Two words I'd love to hear right now. Been really trying to catch up with work without succumbing to procrastination yet again. Social life down to nil, not at all what I had in mind for this year. Hoping to cheer up soon once I get my work out of the way.
Smile! Be happy! Good times are coming! =D

So they said you can't go out with boys you meet in the club.
Don't give him your number.
Don't give him your real name.
And God forbid you did give him your number AND your name.
Don't pick up his calls.
Don't reply his texts.
Renegade that I am. Did it all. Twice.
6.30pm: The battle begins for a space on the KTM
Haha... So many people pushing, shoving and squeezing right, left and center to get onto the KTM. I won't fight with them la..
Oi. Why you look at me cos I laugh? Very funny ma.. We don't have world class infrastructure yet we still have third world mentality. But no choice kan? Its every man for himself.
So ironic that people pay taxes and still suffer the crush of getting home, the hours spent waiting in the heat for non-arriving trains. And we are the urban working class, who contribute a substantial share to the development of the Malaysian economy.
Hint hint: if you want us to vote for you, fix public transport issues!
Oh but I forget, we small fry probably don't contribute enough financially to warrant a remedy to our everyday woes. No... The electorate which matters are the ones screaming bloody murder over some history lesson. Not that history is unimportant. It is. And history also tells me that fixing public transport issues will always be on the backburner until we no longer take pride in "Malaysian time" and care enough about the environment to start providing an alternative to cars.
7.00pm: Train!!
Aiya. Stop pushing and shoving! Move back into the train la! So kesian... Got people cannot get out of the train lol. And I cannot get on again. Waited too far from the train door. Dammit. Need another strategy to get on the train.
The women's coach is too jam. Will try the mixed gender one.
8.00pm: Train!!
Ok, I think the train door will be near the blue line. Tembak la! Yay!! (More pushing and shoving ensues) Phew! Got on at last! =)

Dear Z,
Remember the times in college where we'd plan to go on a beach holiday as double-dates? Cheers to sweet memories and more fun times ahead!

As I was waiting for the KTM today, I kind of noticed how everyone looked about the same. Granted it was after work, but I guess being a small-ish city, KL trains can't be compared to the London tube. But on the tube, there are probably quite a few people who would look different from the rest. They would have a distinct style, regardless whether it be up-to-the-minute trendy, or grungily unkempt.
Which made me think, are Malaysians generally a little more reserved in their fashion choices because they dare not stand out from the crowd? Do we tend to have more of a herd mentality? Yes I know we shouldn't judge people on appearances, but I maintain that our outward style is an expression of our perception of ourselves.
Or you know, maybe its just our lack of spending power. But cannot be, cos shopping is one of our pastimes.
Or maybe its because we're not as multi-cultural as London is. But cannot be, cos we're a multi-racial country.
Food for thought ~ What if KL became a "fashion capital" in the future. Malaysia Boleh kan?
