Well, yes. I have experiences with spirits, mostly just ancient, silent, or bored ones rather than evil or malicious per se. One notable experience was when I was a 10-year-old living in my grandmother's house, sleeping in the same room that my late step-great-grandfather slept in and later passed away in. Sometimes I'd feel a presence/see shadows at night when everything else was quiet, sometimes my Xbox 360 would randomly turn on, sometimes I'd experience synchronicities about him, etc.— But none of my experiences with spirits have been malicious. Heavy, unsettling at first? Yeah. However, they're nothing like Hollywood chalks it up to be. A lot of them just like to chill, observe, sometimes protect. Maybe I should post my ghost stories more often to combat the noise.
I think that when we die, we'll end up wherever we are attuned to, believe in, or want to go. I don't feel that the universe (multiverse?) is confined to one planet's rules, and our consciousness is capable of projecting way more than we think. This also ties into my belief in ghosts—they become ghosts because they chose to stay or even just briefly check in on the state of the world. A lot of "malicious" or "trickster" spirits are just bored, mischievous, or lower astral entities messing around with us imo.
Ehhh... I think my personal belief system is between some degree of chaos magick and something I can't really explain on paper.
Well... Fate really isn't set in stone. If it was, then why would it be "fated" for a newborn infant to randomly die in a car crash before it can serve a meaningful purpose? There can be magickal influence giving you synchronicities or special events to align you with something you desire/are suited for, but none of it is like the Christian worldview where your life is a finished book you're just... Observing, like in a theater where it's all pre-scripted?
Kind of. In my opinion, the dreams that have meaning are the ones you remember vividly. A lot of it is up to personal interpretation, though—kind of like tea leaf reading or any other divination method.
I have quite a few. Some of which started as quirks or inside jokes. I have a 1945 coin that is my good luck talisman because it marked the end of a war that tore my European family apart in their time.
Yeah. Although I often don't realize it, I've actually felt energy in certain circumstances. One was during my grandfather's funeral. I wasn't upset about his body because I knew it was just his shell, but the second I walked into the confines of that funeral home, it felt agonizingly heavy; like a boulder on my shoulders. I ended up having a panic attack before I even entered the service room because the energy was too much.
No, not really. I don't celebrate holidays on a serious level. I tried to get into it for the devotional/aesthetic purposes, but it never really clicked with me. Must be my Autism and ADHD brain; I only hold a schedule if it works with my internal clock and it's convenient for me. Even common holidays like Christmas/Easter/etc. don't really appeal to me anymore. I don't see too many special things about it.
I do worship deities, but I'd prefer to keep this private for now.
Essential things I need to have in my rituals are my wand, my stones/bones/fossils, my paper and pen, and of course my energy. Everything else is likely an aid.
I absolutely adore Moldavite, Labradorite, Silver Sheen Obsidian, Clear Quartz, and Amethyst; in that order. Those are my top five and you likely couldn't even rip them from my cold dead hands.
I heavily identify with the strange fifth element of spirit, notably the void too. I know it's weird and not perceivable or tangible like other elements, but I've always felt a sense of longing towards it like it was where I hailed from all along.
Depends on my situation, but I cast quick spells more often than slow-release ones because a lot of random stuff just pops up and I need a quick fix in a pinch.
Well, I assume you mean a place on earth that is spiritually significant to me. In that context, I don't have one. However, I am honing in on my lucid dreams (Currently at 2-3 unstable ones per month) and my main goal is to gain stability and build and explore little versions of a perfect private world I build, then chill out in the void that makes me feel at home. To me, that's a spiritually significant place. I dream of mastering lucid dreams so I can hike in breathtaking, bite-sized realms of mine and mine only.
Side note: I also plan on creating a magic system in my lucid dreams and seeing how it pans out. Like, a ritual space inside my head that I can do magic and experiment freely without the confines of real life physics.
