Okaaaaayyy I wasn't kidding, I'll drop you a few for whenever you feel (I don't write x reader myself because I'm terrible at it, but you rule):
The Teacher from Tanner: you take care of drunk Melissa on PECSA weekend and she looks for you the morning after she propositioned you.
Melissa Schemmenti X Reader
A/n: I’ve started this one and there were multiple directions attempted. I’m a sucker for a happy ending, I guess.
Warnings: slight angst, hurt/comfort, alcohol, fluff, mentions of future smut.
****************************************************
This year is your second year attending PECSA weekend. Last year you rode up with Janine, Gregory, and Jacob. Since then you still eat lunch with the trio on most days. But some days Melissa and Barb invite you to sit with them.
Usually disguised as something work related.
Sometimes you catch the redheaded, now, 6th grade math teacher watching you when you're explaining something to her. Or she makes contact with a hand on your arm or knee when she’s sitting next to you while explaining something to you. And when she’s demonstrating something in your classroom or your walking her through a new software her hand drifts to your shoulders or the middle of your back.
Just slight touches. Innocent even. But something flutters in your lower belly wishing these touches meant more. But that’s just projecting.
When the group learns that the district is sending you to Miami the lounge erupts in cheers. “We should just get a van and road trip instead of carpooling in our cars. Better for the environment. One vehicle.” Jacob immediately suggests.
“Boy, you thought we were driving to Miami? They are flying us all there.”
“Ooh, Mama is going on vacation! Hallelujah!” Barb raises her mug to cheers Melissa.
“Shopping after school, Barb?”
“Gotta get some new swimsuits for the sunshine state so we can layout by the pool and dri- network. We’ll be out by the pool networking and mentoring.”
“Right. I don’t care what you do as long as it doesn’t involve me.” Ava says before strutting back to her corridors for some self care.
At the end of the day, you look up to see Melissa standing in your doorway on her way out. “Hey, hon. Barb and I are gonna go to the mall for some new swimsuits. Wanna join?”
Your eyes cascade down her body, following down her curves and lengthy legs for a woman of her height. You don’t think you’d survive watching her try on a multitude of swimsuits. Knowing she’d be practically naked in the fitting room next to you. As much as you want to you set your own boundaries so you don’t fall for another straight woman and get your heart broken.
“Thanks for the invite, Mel. I actually just ordered a few…2-day shipping.”
“Well, I can’t wait to see them.” She winks and waves goodbye, taking her leave. “See you Monday, kid.”
You stared at the space she occupied trying for the life of you to figure out what she was getting at. Was she talking about the swimsuits themselves or you in the swimsuits? You were practically doing the same thing about her but that’s a given. You were gay and wholeheartedly attracted to the other woman.
On Tuesday, when you got to school you walked into the lounge and found Mel alone in there with her glasses perched on her nose. She was scrolling on her phone and you don’t think she noticed you yet. That is until-
“Did your bikinis come in?”
“It’s Tuesday. It’s been 3 days. Show me what you ordered.”
“Oh, umm. Yeah, they came in on Sunday.”
“So, youse gonna show me?” She asks again, she pushes her glasses into her hair, the way she always does and still it takes your breath away. So you distract yourself from staring by pulling out your phone.
“Only one bikini but I don’t know if I’ll wear that one on this trip.” You show her the three that you ordered and she expresses her approval of all of them before swiping back to the bikini.
“Oh, I don’t know. Don’t you think it’s too…revealing for a teachers conference?”
“You went last year, it’s barely a conference. It’s more like a big party for teachers without kids running around every corner.”
“Definitely pack it. I bet you’d look…really good in it, hon. Just bring it and if you decide not to wear it then don’t. And if you do, at least you’ll have it with you.”
“Okay. I’ll bring it and decide then.”
“Good.” She pats your hand, lingering for a moment. “Aren’t you gonna ask if I found any?”
“Did you find some you liked?”
“I did. But I don’t have any pictures. You’re just gonna have to wait and see like everyone else.”
You nudge her shoulder laughing to cover up the blush that threatens to spill across your cheeks. “You’re such a tease.”
“And? I like it when I can make you blush.”
You stare back wide eyed with no response. Wishing you could look anywhere but her eyes but the grin that broke across her face gives way to the now apparent rosy hue that’s now complimenting your melanin kissed skin tone.
You cough to break the trance and thank whatever higher power there is that the trio finally made their way in.
You remember your coffee and Janine steals you to plan outfits for the weekend. Melissa gathers her planner and purse before making her way out of the lounge. She spares one more glance smiling at your flustered state before heading to her classroom and you pretend to be giving Janine your full undivided attention.
What in the world is going on?!
On Friday, you all are waiting on the curb for the shuttle to take you to the airport. It’s a three-day weekend so thankfully subs weren’t needed. Which meant neither was creating sub plans.
Once settled in the shuttles everyone is buzzing with excitement. Well Janine and Jacob were. Ava hands everyone their plane tickets just before getting dropped off at departures.
Once boarding the flight you check your seat number and see that you are in the aisle next to Gregory and Janine in the window seat. You put your carryon overhead and before you drop into your seat you feel a hand around your arm.
“Sit here, hon. Don’t make me sit next to Jacob and his fun facts without an escape.”
When Jacob turns to take his seat he sees you in it next to Melissa. “Oh…that’s okay. Janine and I have some panel planning to do.”
You all get comfortable for take off and you pop your headphones in. Once in the air and connected to the flights wifi you pull up AO3 with your phone brightness dimmed.
You’re locked in to your fourth oneshot involving Dana Evans. Until you feel Melissa’s thigh press into yours.
You pull your headphone out and see Melissa looking at you with an arched eyebrow in question. “Sorry, did you say something?”
“Did you want a drink or snack?” She motions to the stewardess waiting patiently with the refreshment cart.
“Oh, I’m so sorry. Yes please can I get a club soda please.”
“Of course, and you miss?”
“I’ll do a Coca-Cola, please.”
You look past her to see Barb with her sleep mask on, neck pillow in place and headphones in. “Is she gonna want anything?”
“No, I asked before she fell asleep.” And then the stewardess was gone. “Can you hold this for a moment?”
She leans over to dig in her giant purse and you see a small glimpse of her cleavage spilling over in the cramped space. You force yourself to look away at anything but the redhead next to you.
When she sits back up she has an assortment of travel sized shots.
“Geez, Mel. Plan on walking off the plane or crawling?”
“Ha ha. I brought enough to share. Which one would you prefer.”
You hesitate for a moment, ready to decline but then remembered this is the closest thing to a vacation you’ve had in years. “I’ll take the gin. Thank you.” You take a drink from your soda to make room for the added liquor.
She opens the gin and pours it into your cup. She takes the rum and pours it into her own. She leans forward to look past you towards the still planning trip. “Hey!” She says in a hushed interruption. “Party favors?”
“Ooh, gimme!” Jacob claps. As Gregory huffs in appreciation. “Oh yes.” He deadpans. She hands three random bottles over.
Melissa cheers your cup and gets comfortable. Before you are able to slip your headphone back in she leans over and whispers. “So what were you reading that had you so captivated?”
“Huh? Oh. Nothing, really.”
“Nothing, huh? Why are you all flustered then?”
“It’s just some fanfiction.”
“You’re not gonna let me out of this, are you?” She just shakes her head and smiles waiting for an explanation. And just like all the other times her hand falls to just above your knee, giving you her undivided attention.
“Fine. It’s just a bunch of unedited stories, imaginative spinoff plots, about favorite characters from shows, movies, books. Some of them are really good.”
“Oh, and who are the ones you’re reading about?”
“That one sounds familiar…The Pitt?” At your nod she delivers her follow up questions. “So it’s just about her? What about other characters from the show? You can’t have a plot with just one person.”
“Well there’s a number of pairings where fans ship them with other characters more or less canon.”
“Why don’t you send me the one you're reading and then we can discuss. Like our own little book club.”
Against your better judgement you airdrop her the link to 5 part fic and put your headphone back in, afraid to make eye contact. Only a couple minutes in she’s tapping your knee to get your attention. “What does this mean?”
She’s pointing at the screen where it says ‘Y/n’ and you knew this would be a two parter question.
“It stands for ‘your name’. This fic pairs Dana Evans with the reader. Pretty much reading about yourself in third person.”
“Interesting.” She hums as she continues reading.
Once you’ve both finished she turns to you and smiles like she’s seeing more of you. “That was…actually really good. Pretty hot, actually. Dana was the older nurse right?”
“So you read these ‘fics’ that put you in as her slow burn lover?”
“Some also pair her with McKay.”
Thankfully, the head stewardess comes over the intercoms to signal descent preparations and saving you from this conversation.
Once at the hotel, everyone splits off to their rooms to change and explore the conference’s amenities.
You planned to hang out with the trio for a little before your social battery ran out from their enthusiasm. You put your swimsuit on, underneath your summer dress.
You were almost ready to go but then you saw the bikini tucked into your carryon on your bed. You remembered what Melissa said in the lounge and without overthinking why, you stripped and swapped your swimsuit for the bikini.
Throwing your dress back on and grabbing your sunglasses you head out of your room.
You meet the others by the pool. You guys walk around checking out all the panel boards scheduled for tomorrow. Excluding the MostlyFans panels you decide there’s at least one that you might be partial to check out tomorrow.
An hour later, the four of you end up back at the pool. The other three are now in their swimwear jumping into the pool. “Y/n! Aren’t you getting in? We need a fourth to play chicken!”
“Oh no, these extensions are too expensive for all of that.” You laugh waving them off. You have loosened up a little and decide to take your dress off and leave it on an empty chair near your spot on the side of the pool.
Grabbing a club soda from the bar you make your way back to put your feet in the water. You're watching the three and a teacher from another school. Your actually impressed with Jacob’s stability, you figured, had you gotten in he’d be on your shoulders.
Too busy laughing at the scene you don’t notice Barb and Melissa walk up behind you. You also don’t hear them take the empty chairs next to your discarded dress and sandals.
The group in the water had started up a game of water volleyball and you cheer their team on. That is until the ball comes flying at you and you had just enough time to dodge. “You're lucky, Hill!”
You get up to retrieve the rogue ball and that’s when you see them. “Hello, dear. That swimsuit was made for you.”
“It definitely was, hon. I’m glad you took my advice.”
“Oh this. Thanks.” You blush and you can see the grin on Melissa’s face and even though you can’t see her eyes through her large shades, you can feel them.
“Oh right! Sorry!” You pick the ball up and serve it back over to them before taking a seat next to Melissa. She takes a sip of her cocktail, following you with her eyes, inconspicuously.
“Did you guys find any panels you’re interested in.”
“We won’t be doing that. We’re already giving one tomorrow morning and then it’s back to vacation.” Barb waves it off like it was absurd to attend panels at a conference.
“Oh I did see that. That one’s on my docket.”
You both turn to Melissa when she slurps the ice in her glass. Effectively finishing it. “I’m gonna go get us another round. Y/n, what are you having?”
“Just a club soda, please.”
“C’mon. One won’t kill ya.”
“Fine. Just one though. I’ll have a Mai tai.”
You turn to watch her order the drinks and her swimsuit accentuates her curves beautifully. Barbs voice pulls you from your thoughts. “So what’s going on there?” And you whipped your head back to her so fast you almost saw stars. She just nods her head at her best friend. “She’s smitten.”
“What? No, Melissa’s straight. Just deemed I wasn’t gonna run for the hills like the other newbies, I guess.”
“She’s only mostly straight, dear. I would know. I am her best friend and all.”
Before you can question what she meant by that, the woman in question returned with the three drinks.
“Mai tai for you, hon. Mojito for you, Barb. And for me, sex on the beach.”
The three of you turn to watch the volleyball game continue as they started to get a little more rowdy with the close game.
As the night went on, you switch back to club soda thinking it was best to keep your head on with everything going on.
Everyone had learned about the schools closing and the superintendent getting fired. Emotions were high and all the teachers were spiraling. Barb led the rebellion while Jacob was dizzy from protesting all day. Janine was babysitting Jacob and Gregory was off having a heart to heart with Oshaun.
Melissa on the other hand was taking advantage of the open bar. You thought she was coping with the cocktails about the possibility of losing her job like everyone else. But Melissa was compartmentalizing that for a later date.
In reality, she was just trying to gain some liquid courage.
After all the shenanigans and a couple prank calls from the Schemmenti sisters she stumbled back over to you. She lays down in the chair to face you and she doesn’t say anything. She just watches you with a smile on her face.
“You’re really sumthin’, yknow that?”
“How about I help you to your room? You're gonna be hurting tomorrow.”
“Are you gonna take care of me?”
“Cmon. I’ll help you. I’ve got some ibuprofen and B12 for your pending hangover.”
You help her stand up and you wrap a hand around her waist. Guiding her through the lobby to the elevators with your hand splayed on her lower back.
The dress she has on now, much like her stylish one piece earlier, leaves little to the imagination of her magnificent body. But you know she’s only flirting with you because of the alcohol. And that stung.
She’s giggling as you guide her and once in the elevator she stops to smile at you. “I’m not drunk. Buzzed maybe. But not drunk. You’re just really pretty. And I was right.”
“And what were you right about?”
“You looked really sexy in that bikini.”
“Just take the compliment.” She leans her head on your shoulder until you reach your shared floor. You want to. You’ve dreamt about her noticing you. Wanting you the same way you wanted her. But she’s drunk.
Once to her room , she grabs the room key that was in her bra and only took her a couple tries to slide it successfully. You help her into her room and she grabs your hand when she sits on the edge of her bed.
She’s looking up at you now and the gears are turning. You just need a moment to clear your head. “Wait here. I’ll be right back.”
“You promise?” And you look back at her and you’d never imagine seeing puppy dog eyes on Melissa. You nod with sincerity, not trusting your words right now. You wanted to cry.
You go to your room, which just so happens to be right next door. Grabbing the pain relievers and vitamins from your bag you walk back to her room.
You knock on the door before pushing it open, off the deadbolt you locked to keep it cracked for reentry. When you walk back in you see the light peeping through the crack in the bathroom door.
When you caught her reflection your breath caught and your cheeks flushed. She was changing into her sleepwear and you caught a glimpse of her topless as she pulled the shirt on over her head.
You looked away immediately, not meaning to violate her privacy. But she did know you were coming back and she left the door ajar.
You waited on the bed in her previous spot. She comes out with a glass of water and smiles when she sees you. “Sorry, just had to get out of that dress.”
“It’s okay. Feeling better?” You ask handing her the 3 pills.
“Yeah. Much better.” She knocks back the pills and washes it down with water before setting the glass on the desk. She doesn’t say anything else before stepping between your legs and brushing the hair out of your face and taking in your features.
“You’ve put a spell on me, Y/n.” Her eyes drop to your lips and you know you should stop this. It’s easier to keep your walls up to protect yourself having not kissed her. But it would be a lie if you hadn’t thought about it 1000 times.
“Melissa…” you whisper, attempting a warning but came out as more of a plea. For what you were unsure…to stop? To kiss you?
Pretty sure it came out as the latter as she’s now hovering over your lips. She paused giving you plenty of time to pull away and you froze. Your heart doesn’t want to but your mind is telling you that this isn’t real. A one time thing. A drunken hook up.
But your heart was louder.
You let her close the distance and she was so gentle. Not at all what you expected and it confused you further. You kissed her back and your hands fell to her hips. Not quite grabbing but caressing.
You both sigh into each other and she slowly climbs onto your lap. It feels so good finally kissing her, too good. You pull back and rest your forehead against hers. Your eyes well with tears and you know this can’t go any further. It will hurt too much when tomorrow she pretends that nothing happened.
“You should get some sleep.”
“Try.” You lift her up in your lap and set her down on the bed. Effectively switching positions. “I should go.”
“Because, Melissa. I- I just should.” You kiss the corner of her mouth before turning back for your own room.
As you shut the door you hear her huff and plop back onto the mattress in frustration. Leaning against the door for a couple moments you take a deep breath before pushing off and walking into your room.
You cry a little staring at the ceiling, your nerves are a wreck. Anxious for how tomorrow will play out. You go through every possible scenario in your head until exhaustion takes you.
The next morning Melissa wakes up hugging her pillow. She remembers pretty much everything from the night before and she touches her lips, remembering how they felt against yours. Why did you pull away?
She’s quick to get ready seeing the time. She was hoping to talk to you before the panel she was speaking for. Once ready she throws her sunglasses on even though she’s still inside. Only slight sensitivity to light and noise.
Once in the hall and in front of your door she hesitates for a moment. After what felt like an eternity of will she or won’t she, she finally knocks on your door.
She knocks again. “Y/n. I just wanna talk to you. Apologize or -? I don’t know. Ugh.” Knock knock. “Y/n?”
She puts her ear against the door, thinking maybe you were in the shower or something. But nothing.
She huffs in frustration again before accepting defeat for now.
At the same time, Barbara exits her room further down the hall. “I’m surprised you are up and ready! I was just headed to drag you out of bed. I wasn’t sure what I was gonna walk in on.”
“Woah. Sorry, Mel.” She defends with her hands up, meaning no harm. “Then why are you so spicy today? Did Y/n not come up with you last night? I saw you both leave together. Did you finally tell her?”
“I tried to. But she didn’t believe me. Kept saying it was only because I was drunk. But I wasn’t drunk. I just needed a little liquid courage to finally tell her.”
“Oh, dear.” She wraps her arms around Melissa’s shoulders, escorting her towards the elevators. “She’s scared. As far as she knows, you’re straight.”
“I’ve been flirting with her for months. And now she’s avoiding me. She wouldn’t answer her door.”
“Did you think maybe she just wasn’t in there?” And the thought actually didn’t cross her mind.
“Cmon, Melissa. Let’s do this panel then you can talk to her. Didn’t she say she was coming to it? Then you can try and tell her again. Don’t give her any reason not to believe you.”
And that seemed to give her some hope. You did say you’d be there.
But you had a change in plans. You needed a distraction to take you mind off of last night's events. And it’s kind of hard to distract yourself if the person you are avoiding is speaking in the panel. You and Gregory attended a panel together while Janine and Jacob went to Barbara and Melissa’s conference room.
Melissa was downhearted when you didn’t show. She kept her sunglasses on for the entirety of it and said her piece before letting Barb handle the rest. As soon as it was over she was out in the hall as people were exiting the other rooms at the same time.
She scanned the crowd looking for you in hopes to talk.
It turns out she didn’t need to look much longer as you all met in the lobby to plot on keeping Abbott open. Jacob isn’t ready to give up the fight. But Janine convinced the group to let the memories from last night's rebellion be the highlight of Miami and enjoy the rest of the weekend.
“A round of shots for when Jacob comes back defeated?” Barbara suggests.
They all groan in one second and agree in the next. Except for Melissa. Who’s been trying to get you to look at her since you and Gregory joined the group.
You looked at her once and you saw all the questions swirling in her emerald pools and you couldn’t handle it this early.
You all follow Mrs. Howard to one of the bars and she orders the shots. Not much of a big drinker but today you decided, what the hell.
“I’ll just take a coffee, please.”
The bartender sets the shots on the rail and hands Melissa her coffee. Once Jacob arrives defeated everyone takes their shot when Kristen Marie comes in hootin’ and hollerin’ about someone bribing the board because Abbott got saved.
You and the gang run to the room where they announced and whoop in success!
It’s now a little after 12 and the Abbott crew is celebrating. You go to order another cocktail when Melissa has finally had enough. She grabs your hand and pulls you through the lobby and into the elevator. Punching the 4th floor she doesn’t say anything but she doesn’t let go of your hand.
“Melissa. What are you doing?”
Once the doors slide open she pulls you to her room and unlocks it. Now that your inside she drops your hand and you lean against the door watching as she paces back and forth.
“I don’t know! That’s what I’m trying to figure out. Because as far as I knew, something was happening between us. But when something finally does you avoid me like the plague.”
“I’m not….avoiding you per se. I’m just letting things cool down.”
“Why? I wasn’t drunk and I remember everything. You kissed me back.” She walked right up to you and put your hands on her hips. “You held me. Like this. I wasn’t drunk and I didn’t imagine it.”
“Melissa. You may not have been drunk but you were inebriated. This happens all the time. Women flirt with me, or known lesbians, when they're drunk. It’s fun. But when the sun comes up they are straight again and pretend nothing happens. It’s a drunk hookup or an experiment. And I’m not just an experiment.” The tears are building and your hands are shaking but you don’t break eye contact with her. “I wasn’t avoiding you. I was avoiding this, the fallout.”
“Oh, hon.” She steps closer to you and wipes your tears. She ducks to meet your eyes as you cascaded them away from the sudden intimacy. “I’ve only had coffee and water today. Completely sober.”
She leans in to kiss your cheek and then the other. “And you are not an experiment.” She kisses you on your lips. Slow but chaste. “Don’t you know…” she steps back and pushes the shoulders of her dress down her arms. “I’ve been flirting with you for months.” She slides the dress down over her hips letting it fall to her feet. “On school grounds.”
She’s now standing in a simple but alluring matching emerald green bra and cheeky underwear. The set matches her eyes, making them more expressive. You scan her body and your mind goes blank for a second before meeting her eyes and her words make your heart skip a beat.
“I just thought you were being nice to me…”
“I’m nice to the others. I was being friendly with you because I was trying to flirt with you. Test the waters. I told you, I liked making you blush.”
“Yeah, oh.” She steps closer to you again but leaves space this time letting you make the next move.
Wiping the last of your tears, more threatening to spill from being happy at the turn of events. You step forward sliding your hand back onto her hips.
She lets out a deep breath against your lips in a chuckle. “Geez, hon. I thought you were gonna let me stand here after baring myself to you.”
“I guess I’m still surprised. I thought you were straight.”
“Only mostly. Men are easier. The bar is low. Doesn’t hurt as much when it doesn’t work out. Women though, sneak their way in before you know it. The connection is like explosions with the slightest touch.” Her hands ghost over your exposed arms before tangling behind your neck. “You miss them when they leave the room, you crave to know their likes and dislikes. Favorite shows, favorite characters.”
“You’ve been flirting with me.” The realization hits you like a semi truck square in your chest. She’s been attentive like a girlfriend even though you’ve been holding her at arms length. Scared of your own feelings for the woman currently in your arms.
“And you kissed me back.”
From that moment you decide, with no question, to turn your brain off and give in to the feeling of her body pressed against yours. Her breath on your lips. You brought one hand up to her jaw and eliminated any remaining distance.
This time she sighed into your mouth, completely melting against you. The hand on her hip holds her up and you walk her backwards until the back of her knees collide with the mattress and she collapses against the bed. Pulling your dress up over your head you toss it across the room before crawling up next to her.
She turns to face you and your lips meet again. Both of your hands are roaming as she deepens the kiss, licking your lip begging for entrance. And you were happy to give it.
You lost track of time mapping each other's curves. When Melissa reached for your panties you rolled on top of her, pinning both hands on either side of her head.
You kissed her hard one more time. “As much as I want to continue.” You punctuate by grinding down on her stomach with a whimper. She lets out a moan and you know she can feel how wet you are. “I want to do this right. A proper date.”
“If you meant everything you said earlier. Then a couple days won’t hurt. I’m not rejecting you, just a rain check.”
Her eyes flicker between your eyes, understanding your reason behind waiting. You need to be sure it’s not just a Miami romance. That she still wants you after you all return home. She pulls you down for a kiss. “I can wait. A date with you sounds perfect.” You smile so big your cheeks actually hurt. “I’ll cook for you. And you can sit there looking pretty and tell me about whatever fanfics you like to read. Or do you only read the ones about the older, sassy nurse.”
“Yeah. It’s all you talked about when you binged both seasons in one week. I wanted to know why you liked it. It’s a good show. You have a type. Good taste.”
“Shut up.” You laugh as you sit up on her hips. You’ve been chasing this feeling. This burning connection with her and she’s been offering it to you this whole time. And all you can think now is future days and nights learning more about each other, laughing beside each other, discovering new things with each other. “Besides. I haven’t tasted yet.”
She arches that eyebrow again, daring you. You lean back over her, claiming her lips and sneaking a hand beneath the fabric of her panties. Her back arches and her mouth hangs open with a gasp as your fingers glide through her folds. Gathering her wetness you swirl around her entrance before retracting your hand completely.
“Not yet. Date first.” You suck your fingers into your mouth and your eyes close as the flavors of her essence dance on your tongue. “And you were right. Good taste.” You lean back in as if to kiss her once more. “Delicious.” You swipe your tongue along hers before pulling back again. Letting her taste herself.
Crawling off of her you grab her dress and toss it at her. “C’mon, beautiful. Our friends are celebrating downstairs, probably wondering where we ran off to.”
“You’re gonna be the death of me.” She laughs as she gets up, stepping into her dress.
And this is what you’ve dreamt of but 1000 times better. The fireworks blanketed by soft, comfortable ease. Perfection delivered by bouncy red curls, expressive emerald gems, and the body of a goddess.
You cannot wait for your date but she’s worth it.
After celebrating with your friends and smiling at the knowing looks you all retire early with the prospect of an early departure in the morning.
Melissa walks you to your room and kisses you good night before disappearing into her own. It takes less than 10 minutes before you’re knocking on her door.
When she opens the door, first, concern crosses her face. “Y/n? Is everything okay?”
“You miss them as soon as they leave the room.” You say with a hint of shyness. It was true. You missed her warmth.
She steps back holding the door open for you. “Well get in here. And no funny business.” And just like that a smile threatens to split your face in two at her being coy.
“Right, we’ve got an early morning.” She lifts the covers for you to crawl in and pulls you closer. She kisses you dreamily and you’re right where you want to be.
“We do. But more importantly, I’ve got a date with a sexy teacher tomorrow and I need my beauty sleep. So don’t tempt me or neither of us will get any sleep.”
And you both fall into a fit of laughter. A few more kisses before she forces you to turn around and molds against your back. “Sweet dreams, baby.” She kisses the back of your neck and you hum in content.
You kiss the fingers that are laced with your before scooting further back into her. “Sweet dreams, Mel.”
