I wish I had the proper words to verbalize how much I love Into the Spider Verse but I just want you to know that 20 minutes into the movie I wanted to see it again immediately. It’s absolutely perfect and fantastic 100/100

Now that I’ve slept on it, I can say without hesitation that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is the best Spider-Man movie thus far

Into the Spider-Verse was awesome and here’s why:

**Spoilers below, like a lot of spoilers**

-Okay so, this movie? Great. Like, really great. I loved it so much. Miles Morales is my son and did not deserve any of what happened.

-His parents? Amazing. We needed more of his mom.

-MILES SPEAKING SPANISH!!!!

-Okay so we get introduced to this universe’s Peter Parker (he’s blonde??) and they literally kill him within five minutes of meeting him.

-This movie is rated PG right?

-I love the shot composition, the colors, the transition effects, just everything. It’s so creatively shot, I need more.

*This movie needs a severe seizure warning before it because this movie could easily cause one with it’s erratic movement and colors*

-King Pin was terrifying and I loved the backstory.

-OLIVIA OCTAVIOUS!! YES!!

-Sam Raimi universe Peter is a walking dumpster fire and we love him.

“So you’re calling me fat?”

-Let’s be fair Peter, you’ve seen better days.

-GWEN STACEY!!! SHE’S AMAZING!!

-Okay she’s probably the only one who’s actually got her shit together and I love her and Miles taking to each other. They’re adorable.

-Spider Noir not knowing what color is, I love that.

“Also I punch Nazis.”

-Noice.

-John Mulaney as Spider-Ham is amazing.

“This guy is such a pig.”

“I’m right here.”

-Cartoon logic~

-Penni Parker is adorable.

-She’s psychic? I did not know that. I’ve honestly never read any of her comics and now I want to.

-Aunt May is a God damn bad ass.

“I said, TAKE THIS OUTSIDE!”

-MILES UNCLE IS THE PROWLER?! -wait I already knew that- BUT THEN HE DIED?!

-This last fight scene was such a mind fuck, I love it.

If you read this (and haven’t seen the movie yet) DO IT!! THIS WAS AWESOME AND DESERVES OUR MONEY!

I’m not joking. he is the perfect hero for this day and age. He’s the hero that I want my kids to grow up with. His character arc through the movie, his relationship with his parents and his uncle, him discovering himself… it was all amazing

dad bod peter parker is sexy as hell and I should probably unpack why I was so turned on by how much of a hot mess he was

THE REFERENCES!!!!! NO SPOILERS BUT!!! ALL OF THEM!

how self aware this film was about being “another” spider-man reboot but doing it in the most AMAZING, ORIGINAL WAY?!
