just watched the diary of a teenage girl. yet again, i missed the point of an entire movie. but what i do know is that i need an older man. i will not get by in life with an immature being from this gen. i might be from this gen and i admit im stupid and also am not mature. but i fear that having an older man can alter my perspectives in a lot of things and change me for the better. in the movie, she ends up being independent; but me, i dont think that will ever be the case. im so dependent on others and although I take the responsibility in so many things. i just do not see myself being independent on certain things. i don't see myself not having a man (still very much preferably an older one) tell me what to do. the movie being about feminism did not do it for me because i still go back on old traditions. everything about this movie did something to me, from her first time with him to her greeting him goodbye by the beach. im very ashamed to say all this. but it's how i feel and it's staying. + new comfort movie.
