Been a while but I'm back with a Tamagotchi collection update!

So my vintage collection has grown pretty well, I now have a Tamagotchi Umino (ocean), a Mothra with no sun bleaching to be found, and a early version japanese Tamagotchi angel! Oh, also a gifted English P1 given to me by an older family member of mine who owned it when she was a kid in the 90's

And of course I also love collecting cases too, managed to snag a rare angel case (pink) just as someone was trying to buy it! Like really, I originally wanted a white case to go with my new angel but that went out of stock FAST. Tamagotchi collecting is pretty competitive...

Ah, but a tragedy. My angel was an unopened and new model which is why I wanted to remove the batteries ASAP. However, one of the screws is stuck. Just my luck. I'll probably need to drill out the stripped screw, I'm glad this hasn't happened to me before but it really sucks it happened to one of the funniest vintage tamas I have...

Side note:

Yes, the Tamagotchi Ocean aka the hardest vintage to raise is a SOUL CRUSHER. I haven't gotten mine to adult level despite getting good care teens... A real challenge!

I love it when nonbinary people (including me) try to describe their gender in the simplest possible terms to binary people. because the most common descriptions I see are "my gender is yes/no/sometimes/meh"

Last night I was trying to describe my gender to my mom and I basically said that my gender identity was on the level of ethereal beings.

That was me putting it as simple as I could hhhh

Behold! My two Helmetchi OCs - Applesauce and his best (and smol) friend Sprout. I finalized their designs this night and I'm very happy with the results! I'll remake that one comic of them once I know how to work clip paint's comic making feature~

Anyone else have Helmetchi OCs or just Tamagotchi OCs in general? Applesauce is based off of the Helmetchi I raised on my mornino btw

Oh heck I love this, I actually got a few suggestions to add!

Okay so I got this Tamagotchi book that's basically the vintage pet lore and some facts I found interesting were:

• The Tamagotchi have their own written language that can be translated to japanese hiragana

• Tamagotchi have no gender naturally

• The Tamagotchi king is going to hatch into something the other Tamagotchi are excited about

• Tamagotchi bones contain ramune

• There are these evil and crude versions of Tamagotchi that appear not only in comics, but can also be seen on box art

• There are extinct Tamagotchi that evolved into the current genesis of species

Aaand loads more lore and that's only in the first edition!

Applesauce Leafstew II -

A Helmetchi who instead of digging underground for treasure like the rest, instead grows the tasty mushrooms Helmetchi love on the surface.

In charge of making sure the other Helmetchi are well fed after a hard day's work, Applesauce is a sweetheart dedicated to their dangerous work - growing mushrooms! The special mushrooms grown are in a place where bigger Tamagotchi stomp around, though it seems this doesn't even faze Applesauce who's helmet has protected him through thick and thin.

...Much to his best friend's, the smallest Helmetchi Sapling, dismay.

He wears a red skirt with a yellow bowtie, his helmet is decorated with stickers and has an apple stem and leaf on top of it. The type of cigarettes he smokes are weed.
