Nervous was an understatement of how you were feeling.
For someone who didn’t usually drink tea, you were drinking lavender tea. The taste was disgusting, but the small sips you took kind of calmed you.
Ignoring your internal dialogue of checking yourself for the umpteenth time in your phone’s camera. You hid your phone in your pants pocket. For today’s interview, you decided to wear a muted outfit since it was so early. Or mostly, if you stress sweat, no one would notice. Currently, you have on a black boat-neck lined long-sleeved top and dark gray dress pants. Your hair was pulled into a low bun with a few boho pieces left in the front. Your hair was held protectively with a black satin hair tie, keeping the bun in place.
You’d been sitting off to the side when you looked up from your notes of questions you’d be asking Grant in a few minutes. There was a lot of chatter behind you, causing you to look back. And there he was, Grant Reilly. Who was introducing himself to the camera crew?
Pictures didn’t do him justice. He looked even better in person. You felt creepy just staring at him, but what else could you do? His salt-and-pepper hair was curled but not in too tight curls. It looked as if he’d been running his fingers through it. From a few feet away, you could hear him talking. His voice sounded gravelly but smooth in an odd way.
You watched as he shook everyone's hands and asked their names. Trying so hard not to bite your lip, you were ignoring the need to say what you were thinking. Kendra was also there, shaking his hand. They conversed for a bit before looking over at you. You tried to play it off as if you weren’t staring by looking down at your notes, but it was too late. Grant chuckled and nodded at whatever Kendra was saying.
“… here we have our lead interviewer for today.” Kendra’s voice was getting closer, and Grant hummed in confirmation.
Perfect, they were now walking over to you. Kendra called your name, and you looked up. Grant Reilly was now in front of you, his piercing hazel eyes locked onto you.
“This is her.” You stood from the chair you were sitting in, feeling it would be more respectful.
Grant was the first to hold out his hand. “Lovely meeting you in person.” You smile, shaking his hand. He didn’t grip your hand too tightly, which you admired. You could definitely feel the calluses forming along the base of his palm. Probably from lifting, you guessed. His arms were incredibly muscular.
“It’s nice seeing you in person as well,” You said. He was the one smiling back now. You both lowered your hands from the handshake.
“I’ll be right back with your microphone, Grant.” You could hear the smirking in Kendra’s words. She’d be leaving on purpose. Her face wore a sinister smile and winked as she turned away. Grant thanked her as she walked away.
“Can I just say thank you for being here?” Grant praised, sounding even more appreciative than when you were interviewing him on Zoom. “No worries, interviewing you for another time sounds amazing.” You sounded too cheery, cringing at yourself.
In hopes of lightening the mood, you attempt a poor joke. “Hopefully you don’t get too bored of me and my questions”
Grant tsked his tongue. “Of course not.” Leaving his lips almost immediately.
“I’m glad,” you laughed back. His face looked receptive to what you said, as if he were holding back a smile.
“I wanted to see you in person.” The words felt carefree as his eyes continued to fixate on you. Feeling a bit intense, you find yourself looking away every few seconds. Your cheeks begin to heat at his comment. Pushing further, you ask, “Can I ask why you wanted me to do this interview with you?” You looked around to make sure no one heard.
Grant cleared his throat, admiring the view before speaking, “I had to see you again.” The air around you two was quiet for a second, and he sounded desperate.
Realizing that, Grant tried to retract his statement.
“I mean…” He couldn’t even form a sentence as a smirk grew on your face. Relating to how he felt at that moment, you placed a hand on his arm. His very veiny arm that you were ignoring at this moment. “Don’t rewire your brain to explain yourself to me”
A side of Grant began to surface, a rambling side.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to say it like that-”
“Not saying that I didn’t want to see-”
You shush him, which finally stops him from talking. Looking at his face, he looked to be still processing what he said. His mind was running at a million miles per minute.
“I’m glad you wanted me to be here.” Your tone was much more hushed as you noticed your co-workers looking over at you.
“I’d never think an old man like me would get nervous.” Hearing that made you feel giddy inside. You made this man nervous to the point he was stammering over his own words? Just wait till the group chat hears about this. No nervous laughing was happening this time.

this is just rambling!! so i hope it makes sense to atleast once other person. general soft and lovey parker headcanons cos thats my wife. 18+ MDNI
☆ okay so i truly believe parker would be down horrendous for her gf. like constant lovey dovey eyes and smile whenever shes looking at you. shen high key bullies her for it.
☆ always holding hands. she always wants to have a hand on you in someway which is perfect cos you also want to be touching her 24/7. loves when you play with her rings. hand on your thigh when driving. arm around your waist at the bar. oh and shes always asking for kisses. always.
☆ cuddler!!! the second she gets back from a shift? shes basically falling on top of you and always falls asleep with her head on your chest. spooning only happens occasionally because she doesnt like that she cant see your face. but when it does happen youll normally watch tiktok’s on your/her phone (whoevers lil spoon) and press soft kisses against eachothers cheek and neck.
☆ and too continue from that. shes a sleepyhead. before she ever worked night shifts she had to drag herself out of bed in the mornings. and now throw you into the occasion? soft warm cuddly you? yeah youre having to spend a fair amount of time having to get drag her out of your bed.
☆ will speak for you when out in public if youre shy or anxious.
☆ she buys you flowers a lot. sees certain colours and arrangements that remind her of you so she has to buy it. showing you a picture of it wont do. duh. your apartment is full with so many pretty bouquets and it never gets lets sweet. she could give you a million and youd still nearly cry each time.
☆ takes a vested interest in all of your hobbies- and you for hers too. youre always doing some activity together whether its sporty or arty or relaxing or nerdy you are always down to try something new together or learn about the others interests.
☆ i love imagining her being made to do like tiktok relationship trends. “would you rather kiss me for $1 million or the prettiest girl in the world for $10 million?” she says the first option with a proud smile and no less than a second later does it click and she’s apologising to you.
☆ now lets get a lil freaky 😝😝
☆ this woman is a PLEASURE DOM
☆ i truly in my heart of hearts cannot see her being mean or rough. shes all about giving and receiving praise. no degradation unless you specifically ask for it because?? why would she wanna say those things to you?? ur the love of her life??
☆ and thats not to say she cant get rough. she can when needed. but her baseline is gentle and caring
☆ loooves when you ride her strap. holds you so close and is constantly kissing you. loves scissoring even more because you guys are even closer!!! some of her favourite experiences have been when she comes home from work, you run a bubble bath for you both and then eat her out soooo slow and soft and sleepy. very intimate, very vunerable.
☆ and she will spend hours between your legs. its the remedy for everything. shes bored? eating you out. shes stressed and needs to clear her head? go down on you. you both really missed eachother while at work? you know what im gonna say.
☆ in conclusion shes just so soft and down bad for her gf. thats her safespace away from work and expectations- she can just love and be loved freely.

Chapter 1: Wandering Eyes
THU — 10:27 PM
Solo drinking was a practice you never dared participate in. You’d never drink alone… or so you thought. Tonight was the night you guessed.
Your spirits were high this morning as you left for work. You ate breakfast on time, packed your lunch, and listened to your favorite artists on the way there. You didn’t even make it to lunch before you were fired. Blindsided by the termination, you asked what the reason was.
“We’ve been getting complaints about you.”
“People feel as if you’ve been hostile to work with.”
Hearing such words confused you. When have you ever been hostile? Hell, most of them would be in your cubicle if they needed support. A text message or email away, they would ask for your help instead of the two managers on the clock. These same people called you hostile?
You wanted to fight back against these claims, but what could you do? His mind was already made up, and it looked as if there wasn’t enough convincing to get your job back. So, you just sat, receiving your fate.
As you packed up your things, some of your ex-coworkers didn’t look upset but rather satisfied with the decision. You said your goodbyes before parting ways from the job that served you an internship and a full-time job. This wouldn’t be your first job in your field, so you took it with grace.
They wanted you to act out, scream, confront, but you walked out in a scarce silence. This was your first full-time job in healthcare admin, and you enjoyed every minute of it. Well, not now, of course.
Instead of sitting with this on your mind, you decided to go for a well-needed drink. An hour ago, you decided to go to a bar you’d visited a few times before. It was a bit more crowded than usual, so the air was warm. Beads of sweat were on the faces of those who danced in crowds, and also on yours.
You sat at the bar, nursing a second vodka cranberry that had been watered down due to the heavy ice ratio. The song playing was one that you knew, so you hummed it very loudly. It’s not like anyone was going to hear. You swirl the lime in your glass as you look out at groups of people. At this moment, you’d be joined by your best friends, but you hadn’t told them yet about your termination. They’re going to be so upset that you didn’t tell them, but that sounds like a tomorrow thing.
Fighting the urge to order another vodka cran, you decide against it. 3 had always been the reasonable number to stop. You feel a pair of glaring eyes across from you. Following the feeling, you look back. Meeting the gaze of a beautiful woman. You notice her warm smile, and she winks at you.
Matching her energy, you give her the same smile back. Focusing on her allows you to gain a clearer look. Wow, she's your type. Her skin shone under the multicolored lights that flashed throughout the bar. Her locs were pulled into a low ponytail that showed off her (what looked to be new) line-up. She looked amazing in her sleeveless top, which showed off her tattooed, toned arms. You were now the one staring.
She talked to two other women next to her, friends, you assumed. They all peek over at you before turning away. It was obvious what was going on. With more eye contact, she began to mouth to you.
“Can I come?” You lip-read from across where she sat. You nod your head, mouthing back, “Of course.” Causing another dazzling smile from her.
As she made her way over, you finished your drink through the straw. Needing all the confidence you could get. You smelt her before she even sat down. Remnants of a bourbon vanilla aroma filled the space between you two. When she gets situated next to you, you both look at each other in silence, getting a close-up of each other.
“I’m Parker, nice to meet you.” Her voice sounded better than you imagined. You met her piercing gaze and responded with your name, your hand brushing against hers in a small handshake. “It’s lovely to meet you as well.”
“That’s a beautiful name,” Parker says, her voice challenging the music. “Thank you.” You shyly spoke, and your cheeks began to heat up at the simple compliment.
“I couldn’t stop looking at you,” she admits, her honesty taking you back.
“And why’s that?” You raised an eyebrow, growing curious. If anything, you also couldn’t stop staring. She didn’t need to know that, though.
Parker turns her body completely towards you. “I saw a beautiful woman who looked miserable.” You laugh at her bold comment. Damn, you thought you were hiding it pretty well. “And I wanted to make her laugh.”
Nodding at her bold but genuine comment, “You did just that, thank you, Parker.” Your hand found hers and gave it a gentle squeeze.
Time passed quickly as you talked. You found out Parker was a doctor at PTMC, which you found fucking incredible. You were jealous of anyone who had her as a doctor. She learned that you worked in healthcare admin and were now looking for a new job. You also told her why you looked so miserable, and she was very apologetic. In her words, “Anyone would be lucky enough to have you on their team.”
Parker’s way of relieving stress was going to the gym or simply writing how she felt. You, on the other hand, loved to garden and paint. Getting your hands dirty with dirt or paint felt nice as you internally relaxed. Parker asked for your favorite flowers, and you told her tulips. You didn’t want to sound like too much of a nerd going into why you liked them and just left it at being your favorite flower. She kept repeating as if she needed to remember. You wondered why.
Her friends, Trinity and Samira, came up to you both, calling you lovebirds, and told Parker they were Ubering home. You were fine with leaving the conversation there so she could get a ride home. Except Parker wanted to keep the conversation going. She said goodbye to her friends and continued the chat.
As it was nearing 1 AM, you decided to call it quits. You were tired, and the exhaustion from today caught up with you. Tiredness mixed with exhaustion is not a good look on anybody. Parker noticed the drooping in your eyes and the way your eyelids could barely hold themselves up. She made a great suggestion that you call an Uber, and you tiredly obliged.
Before calling the Uber, you made sure to exchange numbers. You didn’t see the contact name she gave you. Outside the bar, you and Parker stood waiting for your Uber. The music from inside was still audible, and you still hummed ‘Give it up to me’ by Sean Paul. Standing for almost 20 minutes in the cold made you incredibly apologetic “I’m sorry that I still have you out here.”
Parker shushed you, “It’s not your fault.” She was right, every driver just kept re-routing or cancelling the ride on their end. More re-routes kept happening until finally, a driver confirmed. That was 10 minutes away.
For some reason, as you watch the Uber approaching, you decide to take the time to thank Parker again for what feels like the thousandth time tonight. Possibly even more buzzy than ever, you admit, “Parker, thank you for coming over to me… I really needed that.” Your voice is a bit strained. Admitting that you enjoyed yourself as if today wasn’t a chaotic storm felt odd.
Parker’s warm eyes stared back into yours. The sides of her eyelids crinkle as she lets out a quick breath. Watching as her dark brown eyes light up at your words. You wanted to take it back, scared that you were being too forward, but it was too late. She’d already started smiling at you. You were lost for what to say next, but Parker beat you to it.
Her soothing voice filled the anxiety-stricken silence between you two. “Just glad you got your mind off today. I like seeing you happy.” Her words worked their way through you, and butterflies fluttered in your stomach. You felt like a high schooler in that moment.
Letting out a tired laugh, you ask, “Did I keep you out too late?” She reassuringly rubs a thumb along your hand, “No, I’d be at work at this time anyway.”
Right, you thought. She worked the night shift, most of the time.
“I loved seeing you smile.” You say out of nowhere. Parker covered her hand over her smile. “Never heard anyone say that. I appreciate it.” Her speech sounded muffled behind her hand. Seeing a side of her that was shy.
You shake your head as you make a sound of disapproval. “There’s no way.” If anything, her smile was the first thing you noticed. Other than her toned arms that you couldn’t speak of right now.
You looked down at the Uber app, 2 minutes away. There wasn’t enough liquid courage in you to ask this next question, but you did anyway,“Parker, are you busy this weekend?”
She tilts her head to the side. “I’m off until Monday…why?” She already knows what you're going to ask, and she wants to tease you. Her once sweet gaze turned into an intense one that you couldn’t maintain, causing you to avoid her eyes every few seconds.
You shuffle a bit, attempting to stand still instead of putting pressure on one leg. “I would love to take you on a date.” That causes a chuckle from her.
Her fingers grazed the back of your hand again, her warm ones feeling your cold ones. “I’d love to.” She nodded, winking at you.
You bite your lip hard from screaming out ‘thank fuck’. Your phone buzzed: “Uber is approaching; read license plate before entering.”
A sleek black Honda Civic arrived in front of you. The brakes winced a squeal as the car was put into park. The driver looked to the side, waiting for you to get in. You turn to Parker, whose face looks a bit weary. “Well, this is me,” you say, a mix of exhaustion and sadness etched in your voice.
Before you can reach for the handle, Parker reaches over and opens the door for you. You smile at her, feeling a rush of thankfulness. Leaning in, you plant a tender kiss on her cheek, the moment feeling like a movie you’ve watched before. “You are so sweet, Parker,” you say, your heart feeling as if it were to beat out of your chest.
Settling into the plush black interior of the car, you let out a soft sigh of contentment.
Parker made sure your feet are in safely, and she leans in closer, “Text me when you get home.”, her voice filled with concern and warmth. You nod appreciatively, “I will,” your mind still lingering on her calming voice. She gently closes the door, and the lights inside the car begin to dim.
You watch in the rearview mirror as Parker begins to shrink into a smaller figure as the car drives further away from the bar. On the way home, you can’t think of all that happened today. Deciding to leave tomorrow’s version of you to handle it.
summary: dr. parker ellis is too old for situationships. too cool, too indifferent. and yet she's hung up on you, a girl that's constantly traveling — if she only knew that you'd be willing to settle down for her. (parker ellis x f!reader.)

Parker Ellis is too old for situationships. Well— maybe not as old as Robby or Jack Abbot but old enough that waiting around in an emergency department for a text that may never come is borderline pathetic. The ceaseless symphony of the ER should be enough of a distraction to keep her hand wandering down to her scrub pocket to check her lockscreen for notifications and yet she's checking again, so much that it even garners the attention of her attending.
"You waiting on some news?" Jack frowns as he looks up from a patient's chart as he leans against the central hub of the nurse's stations. Shen passes by, his obnoxious slurping stealing her attention before she gazes back up at the older man.
Parker shakes her head. "Nah, it's just… I thought I felt it vibrate. Thought I missed a text." She drops the phone back in her pocket.
Jack pauses and he has that look where he seems to see right through her, sees the half-lie for what it is: a sad, hopeful wish for a different outcome. Fortunately, her attending leaves it be but it has Parker itching to check her phone just once—
Bzzt.
Maybe she should've been a bit more cautious at how eager she looks as she digs out her phone but the rush of dopamine is irreplaceable when the one person she's been waiting on occupies her screen in a multitude of playful texts.
—
"So. Night shift. This is weird."
Trinity shifts her weight from her left foot to her right foot as she stares up at the board, Mel by her side with her usual shifty yet calm energy. Dubbed as one of Robby's 'pitt-lings', day shift had been her usual schedule until another awkward not-fight with Garcia had her searching for some reprieve to the so-called dark side of PTMC.
"It's not that weird," Mel hums casually as she steps closer. She's been experimenting with night shifts now that Becca seems to crave more independence. Hand-offs had been completed an hour ago and although chairs never seem to catch a break, there's an odd sense of calm that blankets the ED anyways. "Just like day shift but the sun isn't up."
"Thanks, Mel." Sarcasm is easy to reach but it always falls flat whenever it comes to the other resident. Trinity sighs and picks up a patient but it's still so unnervingly calm. However, she isn't bored enough to tempt fate and say the 'Q' word out loud so she sidles up to the charting computers where Crus seems to have taken shelter in between his sips of red bull.
"Here to gossip, Santos?" Crus chuckles knowingly, his gaze fixed upon the screen. Trinity huffs out a laugh as she lets her gaze wander before they land on a curious scene of Parker near Peds, brows furrowed and lips pursed as she glares down at her phone.
"What's up with her?"
Crus follows her eyes over to his fellow senior resident and bites back a grin. "Honestly? I have no idea. Shen says it's an ex-girlfriend. My guess is it's a situationship."
Amusement flickers to life within Trinity as she gives Parker another cursory look. Tense shoulders, desperation evident in that gaze, and yet the slight fidgeting that never seems to settle.
"Situationship. Has to be."
Mel frowns. "I don't see it."
—
Jet lag doesn't touch you anymore when you land in Pittsburgh from Europe, maybe a touch sleep-deprived and dehydrated but nothing a decent nap and a bottle of Gatorade can't fix. However, you call for an Uber to take you straight to PTMC rather than the closest hotel from the airport.
You travel light anyways, a backpack slung over your shoulder as you circle the side of the hospital towards the ambulance bay instead. A security guard stops you, a frown on his lips. "Ma'am, you can't come this way."
A charming smile stretches across your lips. "I know, I'm here to see Doctor Parker Ellis? Unless she doesn't work night shift anymore?"
"I—" Before the security guard could answer, a doctor approaches with an iced coffee in hand.
"You're looking for Dr. Ellis?" Although the doctor—Dr. Shen, according to his badge—maintains professionalism, you wonder if you're imagining the mischievous glint in his eye.
You nod and readjust your bag on your shoulder. The doctor waves away the guard with a friendly grin before he beckons you over. The pitt encloses around you in its own specific energy of the night shift but you fall into step with Dr. Shen without a stumble. You're good at that, adapting and slipping between the spaces to fit in— makes it easy to slip out when you need an escape.
"Are you coming back from a previous appointment?" Shen asks but he knows better, a smile fighting around his straw. He's seen you before, not in person but on the homescreen of his colleague's phone when she'd been too exhausted about hiding her private life. Your hair might've been shorter in the photo but the beatific smile is the same.
"No, I'm just a—" But before you can solve the mystery of who you are to Parker, she appears around the corner and your nickname falls from her lips like a bad habit.
"Bug? What're you doing here?"
Your smile widens and something kickstarts in her chest. It fights against the slight resentment that builds every time you go radio silent ever few days; how could you look at her like that when she never seems to be enough to stay?
"I just landed, I wanted to surprise you," you say simply as you cross the space to gently cradle Parker's jaw. She goes down easily, bending the distance so you could press a feather-light kiss to the corner of her lips while her hand finds your waist. "Are you almost off?"
The mention of work sobers her up and she looks up just in time to see Lena, Shen, and Jack watching in quiet amusement. "Uh— almost. One more hour. Wanna wait for me in the break room?"
You nod and gently squeeze the forearm of the hand that's still holding your hip. "Take your time, El."
—
When the door shuts behind you in the break room, Crus doesn't hesitate to step into Parker's orbit with his red bull long forgotten.
"El?"
"Don't start, Henderson," Parker bites but the little smile on her lips shine likes a million-watt sign that even Trinity's curiosity is piqued. "She's just—"
"— your situationship," he finishes. "I remember her, you know. I was with you. Was she the same one that came by to drop off coffee a few weeks ago?"
The emergency department must've hit a lull because Lena wanders closer along with Trinity in tow, charts momentarily set aside for some good piece of gossip. Princess and Perlah's been rubbing off on her.
"Wait, spill." Trinity all but demands and even with the sidelong glance Parker gives her, the new resident doesn't budge. Looks like someone's already made herself comfortable with the night shift, Parker thinks to herself.
"We met a few months ago—"
"— several months ago," Crus amends with a shit-eating grin.
Parker takes a deep breath. "Several months ago at that shitty dive bar near here. It was karaoke night and the little thing had too much to drink. I was close enough to the stage to catch her before she took a tumble. Guess she saw my badge or somethin' because she asked if I could… check her out."
"Oh my god, that was kinda smooth," Santos grins, the exhaustion ebbing away; who needs energy drinks when hospital gossip works just as well to keep anyone up?
"Long story short, we started seeing each other, but…"
An awkward silence follows when Parker's little audience realizes there isn't anything else to say—or rather, nothing else she's willing to divulge to them.
"It's a situationship," Trinity realizes aloud and now her grin matches Crus, giddy at the new bit of information that subtly chips away at the cool front that Parker always seems to exude. "You have a situationship with that— sorry, what'd you call her? Bug?—and you're not handling it well."
Parker glare sharpens but it lacks any heat with the slight frustrated purse of her lips. "I'm handling it."
—
Parker Ellis is not handling it. Not even close.
Not when you're looking so peaceful, curled up on the lumpy couch of the break room, lips slightly parted for each quiet huff of breath. It's the end of her shift and yet fatigue takes a seat on the backburner of her mind so she could kneel by your side, run a gentle finger along your cheek to slowly rouse you awake.
"Hey, sweetheart," she murmurs and when your lashes flutter open, something inside her cracks at the way you beam so brightly at her despite the late hour. "Sorry for taking so long. Ready to head home?"
You gently take her wrist to kiss her palm before nodding and it takes everything in Parker to keep her mind from creating every domestic fantasy she's had of you. "Mhm, I'm ready." You slowly sit up and whine quietly in objection when Parker takes your bag along with hers, a sleepy frown on your lips when she slings both bags onto one shoulder so you could hug her free arm to your chest.
"Want breakfast?" she offers as the sunrise to peek through the clouds, ignoring the way day shift is watching the two of you exit to the employee parking lot.
You nod, still half-awake. "Waffles. Extra syrup, stat."
A bemused laugh escapes her as she kisses the top of your head. "Yes, doctor."
—
In the beginning, it hadn't been this hard. You were gorgeous but it'd been your smile that stole her breath, that much had been enough to suck her into your orbit even after you landed right into her arms. But in the beginning, it'd been something just physical.
"Maybe it can be… a few times thing," you had tried to explain over a glass of water. Parker had shepherded you to the bar to get you hydrated again, the flush on your cheeks slowly dissipating as you sobered up under her gentle guidance. Her hand was warm against your thigh, knees knocking into one another as she had all but dragged your stool closer until your thighs had parted to make room for hers.
"A few times thing?" Parker repeated with an amused chuckle.
You didn't back down, just elaborated with a smile that she couldn't quite parse through. A Mona Lisa type of smile, Jack would comment wryly. "Mhm. A few times thing, not a one time thing. It works out, doesn't it? You're an ER doctor, very hot of you by the way, and I… I travel a lot. I'm never in one city too long but if the stars align and you're free while I happen to be here, then we can totally fuck."
She choked on her Dr. Pepper at the blatant invitation but she focused on something else entirely, her smile widened. "What do you mean, while you happen to be here?"
"I mean, I don't really choose where I go sometimes." You had taken another dutiful sip of water and you were rewarded with another pass of her hand along your thigh. "I spin a globe and wherever my finger lands, that's my next destination…"
There was a story there, Parker knew it, but she decided back then to not pry just yet, lest you lose interest if she demanded a potential sob story in a bar. She must've played her cards right because she had you under her within a couple hours, moaning her name like a prayer.
A couple months in, she'd begun to make room in her closet for you, on the random week or weekend Pittsburgh had been your destination of the month. Maybe that should've been the first red flag that Parker's starting to crave more than this unorthodox relationship but she's already six feet deep when one day, she rolled over and nearly smothered herself into her pillow to catch the faint traces of your perfume.
One month ago, she's accepted her fate and can only pray that your little globe would lead you back to her.
—
It feels like home whenever you pass the threshold of Parker's apartment, but instead of the terrifying gallop of your heart that follows the idea of settling down (tachycardic, Parker would say—only because she knows how squirmy and turned on you get whenever she talks 'medical'), your heart rate settles. Like the fight or flight instinct inside you just turns off around Parker. And maybe that alone should be enough to terrify you anyways but it just has you seeking her out.
"You wanna shower first, lovebug?"
The full nickname never fails to bring forth a smile as you nod, watching Parker set your things down by the couch to free her arms so she can sling them low around your waist. "Yeah, I smell like plane."
She leans down to kiss along your temple, cheek, and jaw. "Smells good to me." With an indulgent grope of your ass, she hustles you over to her bathroom as your laughter echoes behind you. It's domestic and heartachingly perfect, living in this limbo of unnamed connection that's making you want more than just a stolen weekend. So maybe you stopped spinning the globe exactly five weeks ago, the countries and places you visit acting as placeholders to kill time before Parker Ellis pulls you back in; there's only so much distance you can go across the earth before you're right back where you started.
You shower quickly and efficiently, stealing her body wash to sate the homesickness that's been festering the moment you had left a few weeks ago and is only now abating back in Parker's presence. With nothing but a towel on, you step out to see her on the couch, TV on and a cup of coffee in hand.
"Are you working tonight?" you ask, a droplet of water sliding down the nape of your neck as you approach until your knee bumps against hers. An appreciative gaze runs down your body and you burn with delight.
She shakes her head. "No, I'm off for the next couple of days. So you didn't have to seduce me in that tiny little towel to convince me to stay," she teases, a hand sliding up the back of your thigh to skim the skin beneath your towel.
Your eyes roll but your smile is bright, playfully swatting her hand away as you head over to her bedroom. "Nuh-uh. You smell like hospital, Ellie, go shower then maybe I can share the bed with you." You drop the towel just right before you shut the door and she's left there reeling, mouth slightly agape.
"Cruel woman," she calls out but she hauls ass to the bathroom anyway.
—
"… god, yes—! right there…! fuck, fuck, fuck—" you squeal, hands fisted around the sheets beneath you as your thighs clamp like a vice around Parker's head. She's already wrung out three orgasms from you, once from her fingers alone, the next two with her strap (lavender, your favorite), and now she seems dead set on killing you with a fourth.
Her mouth is precise, her tongue deadly accurate as she tongue-fucks you with a brutalistic rhythm— it'd almost be considered clinical if it isn't for the way she's moaning around your sopping cunt while she grinds against the mattress. "Cum for me, sweetheart," she croons as her lips glide up to suck around your nub, her fingers taking the place of her tongue as she watches you arch off the bed and finish right on her face.
Your tense muscles slowly loosen as your hips sink back down into the bed, whining quietly when you feel Parker's hands massage your calves to alleviate any cramping for when you hurtled into your final orgasm. "I hate you," you say, eliciting an amused laugh from your lover as she places feather-light kisses up your body before settling in beside you.
"No, you don't."
You shake your head, lifting it so you can rest it right onto her chest while her arm fits itself around your frame. "No, I don't," you confirm with a quiet sigh, pleased and content.
—
It's rare for your visits to coincide on Parker's off days. It makes the short time she has with you feel longer in comparison to the days where you could see her between shifts, spending it mainly in bed or in the same four walls of her apartment.
("I can always call off for you, sweetheart, it's fine—"
"No—! Then it wouldn't be serendipitous, Parker. Imagine a weekend where the globe takes me back to you and fate decides to not keep you at the Pitt for me. Wouldn't that just be the perfect sign?"
Parker didn't quite agree but she couldn't ever say no, not when you get hung up on signs and hidden meanings and fate— it sounds like you've been circling the idea of the two of you being soulmates and she likes the sound of it too much to ever negate your own thought processes.)
So when you ask to see the city rather than be spoiled to death with more orgasms (another glaring sign that this has always been more than physical), it takes her a second to nod and agree as she takes this chance to show you that the two of you could be more than fuckbuddies.
"Where are we going?" Despite your third time asking, Parker merely hushes you with a playful kiss to your forehead before helping you into the passenger seat of her Jeep.
"You'll see, sweetheart."
It takes all your energy to keep from asking her to pull over as she drives, looking unbelievably attractive with the way she's got one hand on the wheel and the other curled around your inner thigh. With the short skirt you've got on, each pass of her warm palm seems to land closer and closer to where you usually need her the most.
"Parker…" you huff. She chuckles and at a stoplight, her hands move back down to your knee before stealing a kiss from you across the console. "You're such a tease." She neither confirms or denies it, just sends you a wink before turning her attention back to the road.
The drive takes you to the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, eliciting an eager gasp from you. After the hassle of parking and admission (which Parker pays for without a chance of arguing), her fingers tangle with yours as the both of you stroll along the pathways.
Conversation flows easy and with the sun as your witness, you realize that spending time with Parker outside of the bedroom doesn't necessarily leave you like a fish out of water, struggling to pass the silence that isn't a moan or a desperate cry of her name.
"So where did your globe take you this time?"
After the botanical gardens, Parker had taken you to her favorite pizza place, buying a pie for the both of you to share. Not wanting to head back to her place yet, she's parked at an empty lot with the two of you sitting on the hood of her Jeep with the pizza box between you both.
You glance back down from where you've been staring up at the starless sky, mid-bite. "Rome," you hum, reaching for a napkin to wipe your mouth before Parker beats you to it. Her touch lingers. "Didn't really stay too long, might've gotten homesick."
Parker couldn't hide the surprise on her face even if she tried. "Homesick?" The unspoken question is there: what's home to you?
"Mhm. Homesick." The pizza box is shut and put away as you lay down, resting across the hood with your head nestled on the meat of her thigh. She waits patiently, her fingertips tracing your features gently. "My aunt traveled a lot and when she passed, she made me promise to see the rest of the world for her."
"You've seen a lot of the world already," Parker muses quietly.
"I did. She said that once I've seen my fill of the world to come back home. Maybe that's what's happening now."
The meaning of your statement settles deep in Parker's bones, her heart fluttering in a way that felt like hope. She can't deny that the gaps between your visits have been lessening far more frequently, feeding the impractical dreams of asking you—wanderlust personified—to stop flying. To stay here with her.
"You know what I want from this," she says quietly. "I think I've made it obvious."
Your laugh is delicate when your eyes finally meet hers, reaching up to cradle her jaw as your thumb skims along her cheek. "I think I need you to be more obvious, Parker. Every time I visit, I keep waiting for you to stop me from packing."'
"Can't ask you to stay for me when you've got the rest of the world to see, lovebug," she frowns. As much as she's been dreaming of this, she can't be the reason you clipped your wings.
"Parker, I stopped spinning the globe."
Your confession makes her pause. "What?"
Slowly, you sit up and she moves in tandem, bringing you close to straddle her lap as her arms wind around your waist. Your hands lock loosely behind the nape of her neck. "I stopped spinning the globe. I just… went wherever to pass the time, just to keep moving, but I couldn't stop myself from just going back home to you anyways."
Her eyes search yours and she must've found the confirmation she needs because when she kisses you, all the walls you both have half-heartedly drawn up crashes down. It isn't the first kiss you've shared, hell—not even the hundredth, and yet the way she kisses you without any hesitation elicits a newfound desperation to sit even closer.
But she slides slightly against the hood of the car and she laughs gently against your seeking mouth to reach behind and stabilize the both of you with a palm against the windshield. "Hold on, sweetheart—" she mutters as she carefully gets off the hood with you still in her arms, your legs wound tight around her waist. With her feet now planted on solid ground, she hikes you back onto the hood before leaning in to kiss you without a second to waste.
"Can't believe we're having our first kiss in the parking lot of a pizza parlor," you mutter against her mouth and she nips your lower lip in reply.
"Baby, this isn't our first kiss," she mumbles back, refusing to part from your lips for even a second.
You shake your head. "It is— as girlfriends."
The confidence that reverberates from those four little words draws out a pleased, dreamy sigh from her as she nudges the tip of her nose against yours. "So we're girlfriends now?" Parker teases anyway, just to see the way your nose scrunches up.
"We better be. You kissing anyone else, Doctor Ellis?"
"Wouldn't dream of it, lovebug."

EPILOGUE.
The sliding doors of the ambulance bay open for you and this time, Ahmed tips his head to you in greeting.
"Morning, Bug."
Ever since your first arrival, the nickname Parker gave you was immediately adopted by the rest of her colleagues. Despite her griping and whining, you never really did mind so she would drape herself around your back, huffing and whining into your neck much to everyone's utter surprise.
"Good morning, Ahmed," you chirp as you flounce into the ED just as handoffs have been finished up. Lena finds you first and you casually set a banana bread muffin onto the nurse's station before handing Shen a fresh cup of iced coffee from the artisanal cafe a few blocks down. Your gifts brighten up the end of what seemed to be a brutal night shift.
Dr. Robby chuckles and even his cool exterior as chief of the PTMC crackles beneath your insistent warmth when you make it to one of the charting computers where he's perched himself at. "Good morning, Bug."
"Hi, Dr. Robby. Muffin?" You offer the tray you arrived with, rewarding the older man with a beatific smile that he even falters at. "Is Parker done?"
Jack cuts in with a swiftness, stealing a muffin with a large bite. "She'll be right out, darlin'. Make sure she gets some proper rest, she got stuck with the few Dr. Googles."
You wince and nod in understanding. "Got it. Thanks for taking care of my girl, doctors." The two older men chuckle in fond unison, their gaze following the way Parker materializes from one of the rooms in South (after finishing a handoff with Trinity) and immediately perks up when you cross the distance to greet your girlfriend with a chaste but sweet kiss.
Parker Ellis had always been one of the cool-headed residents, quick to adapt to any situation in an emergency department and could be relied on to stay steady. Calm, collected, and undeniably charming only to fall apart and unravel into a blubbering, giddy mess when you deign to spare her a gentle smile.
Jack chuckles as he watches the way Parker slings an arm around your waist, dragging you into her side to press an obnoxiously aggressive kiss to your temple and cheek that has you squealing in delight while the both of you finally exit the hospital.
Before Jack could turn away to finish up his charts, he sees Ahmed clear the white board in the security breakroom to scrawl on a new betting pool category.

1. That damn BMW
The apartment you and Jack shared was in disarray as you got ready for a date. Your shared closet was open with multiple hangers left bare as you tried on clothes left and right. You did mean to put them back, but you honestly forgot about the mess left on the bed and focused on the one you left in the bathroom.
On the shared countertop, there were many liquids and powders left open that you were currently cleaning up. From the bedroom, you heard a small gasp, “Baby, did the Tasmanian devil run through here?” he called from the bedroom.
“I know, sorry, I’m cleaning it up,” You responded with a clattering of all of your products going back into their respective spaces. I swear.” Yes, you left a mess, but you needed your things to be in the same place as before.
A chuckle came from the door as he walked in. Jack’s face had its usual small scowl because of the dress code. He’d have to wear slacks instead of his typical sweatpants (That he totally HATED!). He’d want his partner to be happy, so he’d have to compromise. Tonight, he looked even more handsome than usual. Maybe it was his tight-fitting shirt or his hair, but you push down your unholy thoughts with an internal groan.
Jack’s arms wrap around your waist as you pull out a few stray pieces of your hair. Beautiful boho braids that have not yet begun to tangle up (thank god for that). You smile as you feel his heavy stare on you. “Something you wanna say to me?” you joke, pushing back against him.
He hums, “You look so beautiful, baby.” You begin to feel his lips kiss behind your ear, making you gasp out a yelp. Jack continues to pepper kisses all over the back of your neck. “Thank you, my love, you look handsome as always.” You peel off his hands to turn around to him. Jack was able to take you in fully, noticing your outfit, a casual dress top paired with sleek boot-cut pants. The shirt’s pattern paired with your gold accessories looked incredible on you.
Robby made fun of the way Jack looked at you. In his words, he described it as ‘Jack hunting his prey’. You didn’t understand it until you paid attention to the way he looked at you, like he was yearning for something… you.
You felt his hands trail up your back and all the way to your face. His thick fingers caressed your bottom lip. “Thank you, baby.” Jack’s eyes linger all over your body, mainly your lips, his favorite feature on you. He couldn't stop kissing you. Jack leaned in for a kiss, his warm lips met your glossed ones. Both your lips moved in sync; his head moved to the side, continuing his mission to devour you.
Your hands wrapped around his neck, trying to move your body even closer to his, which was impossible. Jack breaks apart the kiss to catch his breath and take a good look at you. You looked back, feeling a bit dazed by the passionate kiss. Not letting go of you, he begins to kiss your neck. His lips caught the scent of the perfume you were wearing. He pauses to breathe in your scent. “We have to go before I take you here.” Jack’s voice came out desperate as he continued kissing your moisturized neck.
“Alright, let’s go.” You nodded, feeling his prickly beard on your neck.
—
The drive to the restaurant was short, no more than 30 minutes to get there. Jack’s hand remained on your thigh the entire ride, as always.
Your date had been going on well, the food was delicious, and no one had called either of your phones. It was finally a date where both of you could be present, something you’d both been wanting for a long time. The subtle peace.
Instead of going back home, you both decided to get some ice cream from a shop a few blocks away. Jack, being the most gentlemanly of them all, offered you his jacket. It wasn’t cold per se, but he noticed the trail of goosebumps formed on your skin. You walked alongside each other as he held your purse, looking funny as a black purse hung over his arm. As you both walked down the street, his fingers slowly circled your knuckle. His warm hands differ from your deathly frigid ones.
“Do you think that couple next to us is still fighting?” You asked, turning to look at your boyfriend. He nods, “Definitely, I’d bet they’re fighting on the way back home. There was an older couple who sat next to you two, arguing the whole time you visited the restaurant. You couldn’t complain at all. Dinner and a movie.
As you both stopped at a crosswalk, waiting to get across the street, you looked up at the traffic light. “What kind of ice cream are you gonna get?”
Jack tsked “Hmm, maybe vanilla.” You rolled your eyes. “Jack, please tell me you're joking.” He shook his head disapprovingly. “What?”
The traffic light turned from yellow to red, and you both began to cross. “You have over 25 options of ice cream, but you choose vanilla?” You made sure disgust traveled into the word vanilla. Your booted shoes clacked with gravel along the street.
Jack looked at you with confusion. “What’s wrong with vanilla? You are basically eating the same thing when you get cookie dough.”
“Still!” you playfully argue back, “It had additions to it, the cookie dough and the little chocolate pieces.”
Before you hear Jack’s response, you're harshly pulled to the other side of the street. Jack's quick instincts pull your arm. The only sound heard was an ear-piercing screech of tires. You turn around to see the car that almost hit you both. A black-tinted BMW honks and speeds off, feeling as if it’s in the right. Leaving the burning rubber smell lingering in the street as you collect yourself, “Fucking idiot!” You scream out, trying to read the license plate, but the car is way out of eyesight. A few people walking look at you, confused about the commotion.
“Are you okay?” Jack brings you back on the sidewalk. “Did I hurt you?” his voice is concerned as he examines you, doctor mode on. You nod, “I’m fine; are you okay?” matching his same amount of worry. “I’m fine. Are you sure you're good?” His fingers lightly grazed your arm and hand. “I feel like I pulled your arm out of place.”
You shook your head, “No, no, I’m good.” His worry settles only a bit, feeling a bit guilty for pulling you so hard. You notice and rub your finger along his tensed jaw. “Jack, I promise I’m good.” You peck his lips and leave another kiss on his cheek. “C’mon, let’s get some ice cream.” He stood frozen for a few seconds before grabbing your lonely hand.
Jack feels the comforting circles you are now doing on his hand. “Fine,” a long sigh coming from his mouth. You gave his hand a tight squeeze.
2. Maybe no pistachios
A physician's gala is not where you’d think you end up on a Friday night. Were you a physician? No, but you still would come and support your boyfriend. Robby and Jack were in attendance to represent PTMC. Shen was on the night shift (winning a rock-paper-scissors match between Jack, who had to attend). “Lucky bastard” is all the words Jack had for the younger attendant.
Sure, Jack invited you as your plus one, but the real reason was the food. The organization made sure to cater the best food, and you were going to take advantage of it. There were so many types of pasta, charcuterie meats, endless bread options, and your favorite. The dessert table!
You had spent most of the night grabbing new dishes for you and Jack to try (mostly desserts). A rich chocolate mousse, a creamy tiramisu, and a fudgy brownie. You were in heaven. There was so much more to try, including the delectable raspberry cake that looked delicious under the lighting.
You sat in the middle of Robby and Jack, who were doing their gossiping rounds as different physicians joined the stage. “Didn’t he cheat on his wife with a nurse at his hospital?” Robby looked to Jack as they clapped. “Shit, you’re right.” Jack choked out a laugh.
“You guys are so messy.” You cackle at the pair of best friends. They both turn to you, confused: “Messy is what you're calling it?” Robby questioned, shaking his head, “I say it’s telling the truth.” The older man shrugged, taking a long sip of his drink.
“Ya’ll are messy boots.”
It’s now Jack’s turn to side-eye you. “Here she goes with her lingo.” Robby almost chokes on his drink, turning to the side to compose himself. “Messy boots? I don’t think I’ve heard of that.”
“I bet,” You smirk, looking at both men.
The night continues with more awards and much more food to indulge in. Finally, you got the raspberry cake you’d been wanting. You use your fork to scoop a piece of cake, and your hand under it to catch any crumbs. Your fork falls in front of Jack’s lips. “Try, please”.
Jack opens his mouth, inviting the fork inside. He chews a bit, nodding as he does. “Pretty good, baby.” Robby begins to fake a gag at you, “You wanna feed me to?”
“Sure,” You tease him back, pushing his shoulder. The ceremony continues as you enjoy the spongy cake. Even giving Jack a few more bites of the cake.
There was this stinging feeling that was beginning to form in your throat. You tried to wash it down with a sip of water, but that did not help. Your hand reached for your throat, trying to take in more air, but a retraction in your chest restricted it.
“You okay?” Jack's hand runs along your back. His fingers feel the sweat forming on the lower half of your back. “Baby, you okay?” His voice goes in and out as you try to speak. Robby looks over in concern, seeing you begin to take ragged breaths.
“Jack,” Your voice is weak from the lack of air. “I think I’m allergic to something.” Beads of sweat begin to form at your hairline. It had to be the few pistachios in the cake. You’d had raspberries dozens of times before.
You tried to calm yourself, but it’s incredibly hard to relax when your throat is actively closing.
“Shit! Robby, she’s going into anaphylaxis!” Jack’s voice echoed through the room. Turning all heads to their table. All personnel rushed over, someone carrying an EpiPen, handing it to Jack. Multiple people called 911, explaining the allergic reaction, while he rolled up your dress to access an injection point.
Robby performed a visual assessment, noticing your worsening condition as you attempted to inhale. Your throat felt as if a snake had wrapped around it. “Holy shit, this sucks.” You attempt to laugh, but it turns into a coughing fit. “Alright, jokester.” Robby smiled, holding your thigh in place. You begin to tremble.
“Alright, hold still.” Jack removed the safety cap from the EpiPen. “I have to inject this into your thigh, alright?” You hummed, closing your eyes tightly. You hiss at the sharp aching pain of the needle as epinephrine is injected into your thigh. “You’re doing great.” Jack tries to bring you comfort with a small rub against your other thigh. You open your eyes to see the needle still in your thigh, you all hear a clicking sound, and Jack holds in there for a second. Robby feels your neck for your pulse, a bit weak. You grew increasingly tired, your eyelids feeling even heavier.
“She has a weak pulse,” Robby whispered to Jack, not wanting to freak you out. Jack curses, hoping the ambulance is close. You sigh in relief, feeling as the needle leave your thigh. Jack massages the injection site. “Give it a few seconds to kick in.” You nod, closing your eyes.
You feel your body fall back and a bunch of voices gasp, before you fade into the darkness. You think you remember Jack calling your name, but your brain felt too fuzzy. You needed to sleep.
*****
You awake to the brightest lights ever. You groan, covering your eyes, trying to get familiar with the room. With squinted eyes, you look around the hospital room to see Jack sleeping uncomfortably in those plastic chairs. He had what looked to be an empty cup in his hand, about to fall out of his hands.
“Jack,” your voice hoarse, you clear your throat, trying to sound more like yourself. He almost immediately awakes, hearing his name. Placing the cup on the side of him, he groans, " You’re up? " and leaves the uncomfortable hospital chair. His posture is a bit tilted as he tries to hide his pain while walking over to you.
He sits on the bed, caressing your cheeks, that returned to their original hue. In Jack’s eyes, he couldn’t stand the sight of you not being able to breathe. It was terrifying to watch his partner turn into his patient; he never wanted it to happen again.
Jack leans into place, pecks along your temple. “You need to rest. I can see you're hurting.” You say as his hand caresses your face. He ignores your comment, bringing you into a hug. “Baby, I was so scared,” he whispered. You felt his body tremble in your arms. Jack was crying.
Holding him in this emotional state caused you to begin to cry as well. “I’m sorry, I had no idea I was allergic.” You rub his back, which was just a white button-up. His jacket was abandoned on the chair.
Jack began to mumble something that you couldn’t make out, “What did you say?” He pulls away, his warm hands holding your face. “You had no idea; don’t apologize.” he wipes the tears forming at your eyes, and you do the same to him. He lets out a hearty chuckle, “I hated seeing you like that.” He pauses his tears to look into your eyes, “I was so fucking scared.”
You nod in understanding. Imagining Jack in your shoes would have you pettried as well. Jack continued wiping your tears. “I love you so much.” His words were broken as another wave of emotions came through him.
“I love you so much, Jack,” you said, sounding the same as him. Jack nodded as he engulfed you in another hug, needing to make sure this wasn’t a dream. He was afraid he’d wake up, and you would be there. You accepted, and needed physical contact after this.
You both sat there holding each other for a while. Jack got your gown a bit drenched in his tears, and you were the same. He’d whisper sweet nothings each time he kissed somewhere along your neck or grazed your lips.
To break the silence, you joke, “I have my very own tomato,” which causes a laugh from Jack. The tomato was his face, which was red from all the crying.
Jack sniffles as he accepts his role as your “tomato” before pulling you into a heartwarming kiss.
You’d been grateful enough to be around doctors tonight.

Summary: After watching the Victoria's Secret runway, you decide to buy the famous ‘Tzuyu bra’ on a small shopping trip on your day off! Your girlfriend likes it a bit too much ;)
Self-care.
A practice you prided yourself on doing a few times a month when allowed. Lying down with a face mask, reading a good book, or even practicing yoga, which you sometimes forget you picked up as a hobby, but those few actions help you feel sane. In this month’s edition, your self-care was a bit of retail therapy. It was a must after a long week of early morning work as a reporter for the Pittsburgh News Network (PNN).
Which you loved, yet the job caused immense day to day stress. Despite the stress, you still created time for yourself, separating work life and personal life. One of those ways was your girlfriend, Dr. Ellis Parker, whom you met one night after a metal water bottle was chucked at your head as you were reporting a scene over 2 years ago. You continued your segment as the camera caught the blood slowly pooling out of the side of your head. For weeks, people talked about how professional you were, but the only thing you focused on was the painful swelling you now had to deal with.
You met Parker in the ED after your team rushed you there. Parker was in awe as she heard you describe the situation. While she treated you, you both ended up talking for a bit. You were subtly flirty during your tests, but she remained as professional. After she went over the aftercare of your concussion, you left with a bruised ego and minor head trauma.
A few weeks later, while reading your emails, you noticed an email titled ‘The doctor whom you were trying to flirt with...’ In the email, she asked if she could take you out on a date. You agreed, so you sent another email with your number, eliminating the need for you to exchange emails. Since then, you’d been in her bubble, and she’d been in yours.
Parker would usually join you on a trip to the mall, but after a chaotic 12-hour shift, she was exhausted and passed out as soon as she arrived at your apartment. Some weeks, she’d stay over since your place was within walking distance to the hospital as opposed to hers, which was a 45-minute drive.
It had already been a few hours of shopping, and you hadn’t found much other than a few pairs of leggings and shirts to wear around the house. You strayed off a bit, buying a few pairs of sweatpants for Parker since she's been complaining of how faded her other ones were. The final store on your list was Victoria's Secret, to find that purple bra you’d seen everywhere. It looked great on Tzuyu during the runway, and put it on your mental checklist to purchase it. You tried to wait for the hype to die down, but every time you checked, they were sold out.
As soon as you walked in, you smelled the $19.95 perfume all around the store. A pop song played at medium volume as you looked around for the display. An associate blocked your way a bit, asking. “Welcome in, did you need help finding anything?”
“No, I’m good, thank you.” You responded politely.
It took a bit of searching since the store was a bit crowded, but you found it. The ‘Wear Everywhere Push-up Bra’ looked even better in person. The lilac lace was so pretty and softer than you imagined. You look through the drawers to find your size, and you find it stocked fully. You swallow a squeal in your throat as you grab it to head to the fitting room.
In the fitting room, you let out a quiet “yup” and nodded as you looked in the mirror. Damn, they were right, the bra did look good. You hated bras as much as the next woman, but you couldn’t break the glare from the mirror. Your boobs were sitting perfectly, and the contrast of purple on your skin made the color pop beautifully. You smile, putting your previous bra back on. Thank god this was your last purchase.
— — — — — —
Kicking off your sneakers, you also take off the black windbreaker you were wearing. Hanging it in the closet nearby, full of other coats.
“Park?” you call out, waiting a few moments, but receive no response. You bring your shopping bags to your room. When you enter, you hear music from the en suite bathroom and the shower running.
You take the time to change back into your loungewear, a tank top, shorts, and fuzzy socks. As you're hanging up the outfit you were wearing, the water ceases. Ten minutes pass before the bathroom door opens. Parker emerges dressed in a loose shirt and sweatpants.
Walking out of the bathroom, Parker’s eyes widened a bit, not realizing you’d made it back home yet. “Fuck, you scared me.” She hollered. Her hand was placed on her chest, feeling her heart rate climbing.
You hide your chuckle with a hand over your mouth, “Sorry, didn’t mean to scare you,” you continue to put away your previous clothing.
“How’d shopping go?” Parker tried to distract you from how frightened she had been a few seconds ago. You pull the sweatpants you bought her out of the bag. “Pretty good, I even bought you some pants.”
“Baby, you didn’t have to.” She coos, getting a closer look at them, “I was going too.”
Parker feels the fabric and lets out a satisfactory noise, “Those are so soft.”
You nod in agreement, “I thought you’d enjoy having a few more pants since you're here frequently.” Your voice faltered as you saw her smirk grow.
“Oh?” Parker questioned, “You like having me here?” She moved closer so you were eye to eye. You nod shyly. Internally, you were confused about why you were flustered, possibly due to her flirty eye contact.
“Of course, I do,” you confessed, leaving a soft kiss on her cheek. In return, her warm lips pecked kisses all around your face, her toned arms pulling you closer to her. Close enough to smell the vanilla bourbon body wash that smelled even better on her. You wrap your arms around her neck, pulling her into a kiss.
She suppresses a laugh, feeling your lips meet. Her lips tasted like mint, and she could taste the coffee on your tongue. Parker pulls away, leaving a small sting of spit between you two. Your eyes open watching as she starts to kiss your neck, suckling at the skin. Parker’s other hand lightly grabbed the back of your neck. From you, a quiet moan leaves your lips. Gripping her locs tied into a bun.
She pulled away so that your foreheads touched, her eyes admired you, taking you in. It took a few seconds to take in the moment. Parker’s thumb grazed your bottom lip, “I love you,” and pecked your lips once more.
You could feel a fluttering in your stomach, spreading to your cheeks. They burned with love, “I love you too.” Your voice hushed as you were interrupted by another kiss.
“I brought something I want you to see.” You spoke between kisses. You fully unhook your arms from her neck, causing a whine from your girlfriend.
Ignoring her complaining, you sit her on your bed, “You’ll like it, promise.” You walk over to the pile of bags and grab the Victoria’s Secret bag. “Close your eyes.”
“I need to see my beautiful girlfriend,” She joked, looking at the bag you were holding. “Please,” You pleaded.
Parker placed her hands over her eyes and closed them tightly, “Alright, they're closed.”
Parker can only hear a rustling in the room and various clothes falling to the ground. In the mirror, you look at the bra again and the matching panties you bought with it. You admire yourself for a few seconds before saying, “Okay, open.”
Parker’s hands fall from her eyes quickly, and an audible “Damn” escapes her mouth. You feel a bit exposed, but remember you’ve been nude in front of her. There wasn’t much to be shy about.
You walk closer to the bed where she sat. “Do you like it?” you smirked as she nodded. Her hand reached out, wanting you to take it, and you did. Parker’s hand positioned you in front of her, eyes flowing all over your body.
“Baby, like it? I love it,” Her breath was taken away at the sight in front of her. Parker motions with her finger for you to do a 360 to see every angle of you. You oblige and turn in a circle, poking out your ass a bit. Parker takes the chance you slap your ass, making you yelp, “Parker!” You hit her shoulder after turning around.
She laughs, hands raised, “I’m sorry, I couldn’t help it.” Her hands ran along the lace trim of the bra. Silently, she runs her hands down to your panties, feeling your hipbone. Looking up at you with a shy smile.
“Can I touch you?”
You nod almost immediately, “Of course you can.”
Parker pulls down the panties. “Can’t have them getting dirty, now can we?”
You shake your head, watching as the panties pool at the bottom of your feet. She then maneuvers you to sit down in her lap. Your back now against her chest “Look at you” Parker whispered in your ear.
You gasp, feeling the bra unclasp. Boobs free from the constraints of the push-up bra. Parker tosses it on the ground, knowing you didn’t like wearing items out of the store without washing them. Parker lets out a hum as her thumb circles around your nipple, becoming hard from the slight pressure. Your head falls onto her shoulder as you guide her hand towards your pussy. You wanted to be touched so badly.
Continuing the same motion on your wet folds, Parker rubs on your clit. Parker started very slowly, watching as your breathing hitched. Feeling how wet you got for her, she hummed again. Your eyes were closed while soft moans exited your mouth.
“Baby, open up,” Parker muttered, changing the speed of her rubbing. You could feel her breath on your neck. You couldn’t bear to keep your eyes open. It felt so good. You sometimes hated how easy it was to turn you on.
Parker’s thumb began going faster. “If you don’t open your eyes, I’m gonna stop,” You cried out, grabbing her hand. She teased you even more, going from a hurried pace to an incredibly slow one.
You cracked your eyes open. “Don’t stop”, you sounded weak, but you didn’t care. You’d continue to plead for more. Parker nods, planting kisses along your exposed neck. “I got you, baby, I’ll take care of you.”
You feel the rubbing sensation turn into fingering. Parker enters you with one finger, curling inside of you. She doesn’t let this slow pace continue for long. Picking your head up from her shoulder, you watch as she pleasures you. “Park!” you cried out, feeling the tightening in your lower stomach. “More,” you whispered.
Parker listens and adds another finger, plunging in and out of you. Her fingers feel throughout your warm walls. Parker’s mouth was open above you, watching as you took her. Beneath her, your desperate moans escape. She brushes her lips against your neck, leaving behind a trail of marks that you’d have to hide later.
“You good?” Her voice sounded muffled as your eyes closed tightly.
“Yes!” you said louder than you thought. “Hmm,” you strangled out, hearing the squelching caused by her fingers.
“Park...” A grunt leaves your lips. Trying to catch your breath, you grab her hand, attempting to stop her fingers from diving into you. She picks up what you’re trying to do, “Want me to stop?” Her voice sounded hoarse as she retreated from your warm opening. Slick covering her fingers.
“No, don’t please.”
“Tell me what you want, baby.” Parker murmurs, circling your clit. Her thumb finds a nice rhythm on the bud.
You let a croak “Slower, please.” Silently begging her to touch you again. Parker hums above you, “Did I go too fast for you?” Her fingers find their way back into your opening. You shake your head, not delving in further.
Not ignoring what you said, her speed subsided. Getting you to climax was no hard job. You were practically at the edge.
Parker didn’t change anything she was doing when your legs began to quiver with pleasure. Your mouth fell slack as you felt shockwaves throughout your whole body.
The room around you basked in a humid air, causing your ragged breaths. Parker continued plunging into you as your back arched away from her chest. “Look at you, baby.”
The only thing you could call out was murmurs as the tightening in your stomach releases. It took a few minutes to gather yourself, but for some reason, you were the one out of breath.
Parker’s fingers slide right out, her fingers coated in your shiny slick. “You did so well for me.”
An orgasm drunk smile is evident on your face, loving the praise. She leans down to press kisses along your jaw. “Thank you, Park.” Reaching to catch her face, you plant a kiss on her lips.
“No problem at all, baby.” Parker returns the kiss.
