In the Japanese version, Roland is pronounced 'Rouran,' which is slightly different from the typical translation 'Roran.' But Roland's concept art looks like a knight, right? So he must be Roland! …Wait, maybe that doesn't make sense…

I drew this thinking about why Roland looks so awkward in clothes styled after Swaine's, but it actually doesn't look too bad in an illustration, does it?

I also really wanted to see Doloran in them...

A story about what if Roland were to be teleported to Doloran.

1. Doloran is overjoyed by the appearance of a brilliant collaborator (and pets him).

2. Roland shows open discomfort (and punches him). The impact of the punch knocks off Doloran's mask.

3. Doloran's youthful face is exposed.

4. Roland, who is 48 years old on the inside, finds it amusing and feels a sense of kinship (and pets him in return).
