Just killed a merc on Corellia by kicking him the balls, and now I’m not sure what to do O.o

me: *joins the group for last, H4 heroic mission, in a mission chain*

me: *disconnects halfway through it  and can’t get back because her computer is a bitch*

This happened to me about two days ago.

me: *joins the queue for random flashpoint*

me: *gets a group*

me: *jumps to the coordinates*

me: *takes one minute to load*

me: *reads the chat that says “get here or get kicked”*

Two seconds later:

*kick the player pop-up- reason: not here*

me: like wtf?! sorry for getting a bit of lag!

the guy who initiated the kick: you call 10 minutes “a little lag” ?!

me: (slightly paraphrased - I was pissed off) you call one minute ten?!

... and this, kids, is why random grouping sucks so badly.

I really would expect better, but obviously, I was expecting too much. Boo, Boots, and shame on you!

Hey players who have reached end game level but still come to pug leveling content for what ever reason

could you please stop being assholes to low levels?

I know you want to grind “easy” content for whatever reason, but remember YOU are the guest here. The people leveling may want the experience, and to learn the mechanics. Not run past them. Not get bitched at when they make mistakes. Not to get kick votes for not skipping cutscenes they might have never seen before or mobs or simply being “too low level” to your liking even though game thinks they’ll be fine. 

If YOU want a speed run of easy content, find a full group outside group finder. Please do not pug leveling content and be asshole to leveling players.

Abso-effing-lutely! I had someone tell me how the hell can I be level 70 (when you join during the double XP event, it gets that way very easily), when I’m so fucking useless, and poof, they immediately started voting on getting me kicked out. Of course, I said that if I’m useless, there’s no helping that, and left the group before the voting could get finished, and promptly blocked the user. Imagine my surprise, when I log in later that day, and someone messages me saying they are sorry for being mean, but they were stressed by that fp (and obviously how useles I was, but that went unsaid).

Maybe if you are so stressed over a stupid fp, then do not queue for random players, and go for those only with bunch of your similarly awesome and not that useless mates, because people will make mistakes, or still be unused to the abilities, as playing only the story is not all that educational for getiing the hang of your healing/tanking/dpsing skills.

And the times I got kicked out of fp simply because getting lagged behind and taking ten more seconds to load! Really, people!

CONFESSSION:

I really wish there was a way for me to conscript Jowan in origins. In my most recent play through I betrayed him to Irving and I just feel like a horrible friend.

Look for Karma's Companions mod on Dragon Age nexus - that allows you to recruit Jowan after the Urn of Sacred Ashes questline, and his own storyline is nicely written. My Cousland romanced the hell out of him :)

Idk if I’ll play it, given my lack of 70s and real interest in the game but is the Iokath storylines/missions any good? ^^
