    Kyubey nodded, straightening his posture slightly as he looked up at Homura. Expression calm and cool, as always. Unchanging. His tail flicked around behind him, pace quickening slightly. Her sarcasm gliding past the feline.

         I'm glad you understand! It would be a waste of time.          For both of us. I'm sure you have better things to do.

More than a few times she had shot him while Madoka was about to wish to be a magical girl, for example.

    Kyubey watched, curiously eyeing the mouse in the boy’s arms. It wasn’t out of curiosity for the species, but simply for how much the human cared for it. The fact that humans were sentimental creatures wasn’t news, but it had always been puzzling to Kyubey. And continued to be.

         He’s lucky to have a friend like you then. 

    The feline got to his feet, tail flicking behind him as he took another step towards Red. 

         Though perhaps you should be more careful next time.

While the creature knew the girls looked at him with distaste, he was still more or less indifferent. He acted as if nothing had happened at all, only acknowledging any confrontations with confusion. }
