I haven't seen anyone talk about this, but... these asks??? 😭

Avery changes their computer password after their and PCs very first meeting so that it includes the PC's name. And yet Vrelnir still describes them at that point as being "more obsessed with the PC, but not by too much." ...Then what counts as too much exactly??? 🥹

They can be so unexpectedly endearing sometimes.

It also makes the skyscraper rescue scene hit even harder. If you choose to save Avery, you can remind them of the first time you met... Knowing that they apparently went to their office after that first meeting and immediately changed their work password to include the PC's name makes that callback feel so much more meaningful. They also changed it long before the PC ever became their sugar baby??? So greedy

A bit more about my PC (Ergos) and Avery + smiling Avery

When Avery met him, Ergos wasn't so tall. He stretched a "bit" more before finally stopping. Avery didn't like it hahaha 😭😭😭 he would have preferred if Ergos stayed smaller. They are still together after three years and Ergos is starting in modeling

The idea of Avery getting used to you more and more often, until it suddenly dawns on him at some point when you aren't around that he has gotten accustomed to your presence a little too much. He doesn't just expect you when it's not "required" for you to be there on date nights or to take care of the house, but he is literally looking forward to it.

He has always had troubled sleep tossing and turning (canon), but without you sleeping next to him he starts to display sudden insomnia. The idea that this transactional relationship has become something he is depended on is extremely frustrating to him (you are an orphan. Why would an orphan of lowly roots hold power over him?) and during the late hours of the night he gives up on sleep, focused instead on having an internal crisis during which he makes excuses as to why this is a silly idea. Of course he isn't depended on you. You are a transactional relationship. You are beneath him. At the same time he is thinking up new excuses, new rules for your arrangement that would have you by his side even more. He is paying for you after all.... Shouldn't he try and get everything he can out of this transaction?

Cahara can beat his ass in a duel without spells, Ergos can't even use the spear without throwing it around. Though, he has a scary aim

i want to clarify that i'm not really romanticizing this dynamic, it was kind of the whole point. 😓 the theme here isn't romance but rather delusion. i tried to make samarie unsettling and marina unusually cutesy to mimic samarie's POV to get that point across but i'm not sure if i was successful.
