I have such a vivid image of Nat defending Misty from a group of people making fun of her at some random high school house party Misty snuck to (pre-crash). After Nat has told them all off there’s this awkward silence where everyone’s staring and Nat just shrugs and goes, “Fuck it, wanna get out of here?” Partly because she feels bad for her, partly because she has nothing better to do, and partly because she’s weirdly curious what the team’s poodle-haired equipment manager is even like outside of soccer practice.
