The Stratt's Vat Discord Server is hosting its first ever event! YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A SERVER MEMBER TO PARTICIPATE.
This event runs from July 27 - August 10. You can create before then, but the official posting period is those two weeks.
Participants will be provided with 10 prompts. [STARGAZE, ALONE, MIRROR, CRIME, ILLNESS, CIGARETTE, AMNESIA, BLOOD, TRAITOR, MOVIE] You can create any fanworks of your choosing inspired by said prompts. Prompts can be used as loosely or as closely as you'd like, as long as inspiration by the prompt is clear in your work.
Participants can create anything they'd like. Fanfiction, artworks, edits, whatever you'd like, so long as AI has no process in the creation of your work. There's no specific length needed for written works, nor do artworks need to be to a certain 'standard'.
No AI. Ever. No works created with genAI (to our knowledge) will be promoted, and if you use AI in our server, there is a chance you will be banned. Explicit works are fine, so long as they adhere to the guidelines of the platform you're posting them to.
You're more than welcome to post your works on ao3, tumblr, or any sort of socmed site of your choosing. If you post on tumblr, you can tag the event with #HailMaryPrompts. If on ao3, please add your fic to the collection hailmaryprompts.
