Ok, I'm not a big fan of talking about politics in public (I am more about to ramble in person with friends) but...whatever.

Yesterday has been the world cup final. Spain (the country where I'm from) won. And I have mixed feelings.

First of all, I've been completely disconnected from football for the last 15 years. I don't hate the sport per se, but the business it has turned into. Said this, I didn't care about the winner. Because since the moment I knew Trump was going to be the host of the final, and overall all the issues some players got to check into US due nasty racism, I wouldn't support the competition if I was Spain. I wouldn't have joined it.

But...show must go on.

So Spain participated and won. And I have to say that besides all I wrote above, it makes me feel proud to see Lamine Yamal supporting Palestine. Or seeing Javier Bardem talking openly about the genocide and condemning it.

Don't get me wrong. I still abhorring football and I am not a patriot. Never was, never will be. But sometimes is rewarding seeing your country doing some things right.

And sorry for the rambling! Before anyone gets shocked about the post: I am a leftist, atheist, feminist, LGTBIQ+ friendly, antifacist, antiracist and overall, a true advocate for human rights. And yes, Ghash can wear that tiny Frazetta armor and still being a feminist. Because the fight isn't measured by the type of clothes you wear ✨

Still shocked (I shouldn't be) about how people try to defend their poor arguments to hide their intolerance. First was the accuracy to Tolkien work. But, of course...you cannot defend that 'accuracy' if you invent characters and don't follow events. Then was the white washing of the story saying that it was based in Europe. Oh boy. I have bad news for you then...🤷🏻

So, fellow racist: read the stories. Read Professor's letters. Read history books. Educate yourself to be tolerant and embrace diversity. Because if we make you an DNA test...maybe you would have a heart attack seeing the results.

Not the best Monday I had, for sure. So what do you do when you receive bad news? Therapy. For me that means drawing. Just focused on strokes and likes while all fall apart. And maybe napping too.

I recently realized that I did maybe only 2-3 drawings of Papa Perpetua so I am trying to fix that. Maybe here comes a new hyperfixation, who knows!

They work in some of the world's poorest countries to ensure children attend school by offering the promise of a free and nutritious meal. We hope our little calendar can raise some much-needed funds for them.
