my king what do you think of reagent coyle

like we took away his baton and just threw him into the trials do you think he would survive

i feel like he’d get chased down SO much because he wouldn’t shut up about being an officer of the law or some shit

Okay, another half n' half milk thought from me.

Now, in the first half, I would say he could survive, given his current kill streak before Murkoff & the fact that he was also a Marine. He would be fine, but I would feel like he would make stupid decisions that could get himself into trouble & killed. He wouldn't work well with other reagents either, because he's an asshole & a stubborn one at that, but Coyle isn't stupid. He's just a jackass.

Coyle does absolutely well with tasks during the trials & honestly wouldn't be reluctant to straight-up kill a fellow reagent who is now the new victim of the trial, regardless of whether he knew them or not. He doesn't care, besides wanting to get out of there & he's willing to do anything for his freedom.

Okay, now the second half, & hear me out when I say this. We can absolutely fuck him. He's not a prime asset, meaning we can fuck him without Easterman getting in the way, YAYYYYY. WE TAKING HIM TO THE HOTEL ROOM TONIGHT MAKE SOME NOISEEEEEE

Important to bring up that he was in fact a reagent or something similar before he was a prime asset, the therapy is what turned him into what he is.

I often think about this, as it puts more context into the footage of him in teach the police officer.

I think going from some sort of normalcy in his hometown despite his murderous and criminal behavior to the trials where he had none of that power was like retraumatizing him.

I think the Coyle we know in the trials is a very different Coyle from the one who went through them. I very much agree that he would have acted similar to how he is cause that’s just how he is xD

…but I also like to imagine him as sniveling and scared from being chased around by big grunts and the like, and Coyle dealing with the horrible experimental versions of the psychosis chemicals plus the lasting effect that it must have had

I also could be remembering wrong but the trials used for the assets were personalized to them specifically so for Coyle I can only imagine that he was subjected to relive past traumatic events over and over again, which would definitely solidify his more… niche fascinations with electricity and also may be how he got his scars ….

I think about his insecurity a lot and how vulnerable reagent Coyle must have been, how lonely it would have been to be one of the very first people subjected to the therapy and having your worst behaviors and traumas groomed into your breaking point so that any chance of rehabilitation is completely ripped away and you go prime because of it.

SORRY FOR LONG COYLE SPERG MOST OF THIS IS SPECULATION AND HEADCANON BUT I REALLY REALLY LIKE READING ABOUT HIM AND THE FACILITY AND YEAAH THIS TOPIC SPECIFICALLY INTERESTED ME
