Summary: Tom wants cuddles and assurance.
Warnings: none really, Tom being really sad, fluff, mommy kink if you squint.
You were in your dorm with Tom, studying for O.W.L.S while he sat on the bed watching you, when he called for you.
“ Love?” He said, his voice slightly faltering although you could barely notice.
“ Yes Tom?” You turned around to find him hiding his face, his tie messed up and his robes off.
“ can you come here please?” He said, his voice muffled in the pillow.
“ Take off the pillow first darling, then I’ll come over.” You said, your voice stern.” But-“ he said in an almost childlike voice.” Tom.” You said again, growing more impatient with the boy.
He took off the pillows to reveal a few tears running down his cheeks and a huge frown on his face.” What’s wrong tommy?” You asked coming closer to him.” Do you still love me?” He mumbled, almost a really quiet whisper.” Tom, I need you to speak louder for me please darling.” You said tilting his chin up.
“ Do you still love me mommy?” He says, much louder this time, looking as if he expected you to say no.
“ Of course I do tommy, I’ll always love you, I told you that.” You said hugging him, rubbing his back.
“ I h- had a dream yesterday….” He trailed off, and then started bawling on your shoulder.” Take your time pretty boy, I won’t rush you.” You said, rubbing circles around his back.
“ I had a dream- that you said you didn’t love me anymore and.. you left me for brax.” He sighed, seemingly calming down a little bit.
“ It’s ok tommy I would never do that to you. Whatever you want to do today I’ll do it ok?” You said looking at his with the most adoring eyes.” Can we cuddle?” He asked, his face turning red.
“ Of course tom, come here, I’ll finish studying in a little while.” You said laying on the bed. He came in front of you and lied his head on your chest, holding you extremely close.” I love you pretty boy.” You said but soon noticed he was fast asleep, with a huge smile on his face, and soon after you fell asleep as well.
