Extremely sad that Stephen is leaving QI. I only hope that it really was his own decision and he did what he really wanted. He’s leaving the show in the best possible hands perhaps, but, as John Lloyd said, Stephen has been the beating heart of the show. With the heart removed, hands don’t really matter anymore. To me at least.

Good luck to Sandi Toksvig and all that, she was a good panelist.

No more QI for me after series M (series N - No more), but the miracle named Stephen is here. So many days would have been so much darker without him, and he keeps shining, brighter and brighter. Can’t wait to see what he’s up to next.:)

Bloody hell, Stephen, this better be good... for you, most of all. xxx

If you are not sure how your link or quote or whatever else might make another person feel, perhaps it's better NOT to send it? I've seen Stephen several times exploding over something and then, after people ask where did he get that shit from, answering like "someone sent me a link without thinking." This man is... well, let's just say that he cares. A lot. And that leaves him rather defenseless, because you can't have thick skin in some places and absolutely no skin in other places. Surely it's not so hard to care too, just a little bit, just enough to NOT send him shit tabloids concoct about him?!!

This is absolute nonsense. Daily Mail can lie safely now when Stephen is out of the country and offline and can’t disintegrate them with another skin-grazing blog post. Despite their attempt to show him as a person perfectly fitting current politics of BBC, he is not such a person and, contrary to popular belief, he doesn’t even work for BBC. Also, nevermind their differences, him and Jeremy Clarkson are good mates, Clarkson is a regular QI panelist - QI even has been taken off air once when Clarkson said something unpleasant 6 months after the filming.:) There’s no single reason to suggest that there’s any single bit of truth in this ridiculous rumour.
