This is an emblem I did for the lovely people in <House Sunborne>, WrA-H, both with and without a catato.
@nemeore @halanth
When did the catato find its way into this? Lol
See more from Britain's Got Talent at http://itv.com/talent Oh I say! The BGT Judges were treated to a little bit more than they bargained for during 27-year...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AYA!!! Here. Have some mostly naked men with cute accents.
Too funny.
Jan 3 -
Turi has joined us at what was dubbed "Fort Ravenborne", bringing my journal in her belongings at Hal's request. It's been not quite two months, and the sheer joy I've felt flipping through the pages of this book over the past few hours is immeasurable. It proves, somehow, that there is still an intelligent and beautiful elf inside me.
In mid-November we got the word we knew was coming. We would be traveling through the Dark Portal with our research team and our mercenary protectors on the heels of the military push. I have traveled through the Dark Portal we formerly knew on a number of occasions, but nothing could have prepared me for the sight that greeted us this time. Orc bodies littered the steps of the portal - perhaps hundreds of them. There were also the bodies of some of the joint-faction Vanguard and the wounded, being tended by Horde workers. Siege weapons and parts thereof were strewn about like the twins' toys after an afternoon of play. But beyond all that was a lush and beautiful jungle. I had, for some reason, expected to see what we know as Helfire Peninsula. This was Tanaan.
We were guided along rabbit trails through the trees and foliage until we finally reached a dock. We boarded ships with many other Horde personnel, all bound for various bases in Frostfire Ridge. There were Blood Knights and goblin munitions experts, Forsaken apothecaries, Tauren warriors and druids, troll axemen and shadow hunters. The entire diversity that is the Horde was represented on this boat; and the idea that I was on the boat as a representative of the Reliquary boggled my mind.
But I digress. The cruise took days, as we started literally as far from Frostfire as possible. We had to watch out for the Iron Horde navy in our "borrowed" ship, and sail far around the northern tip of the continent. These days blended into each other - the sun came up, the sun went down, and between the two events the scenery was somewhat interesting. All I could think of was what was waiting for us at the end - plentiful food, a hot bath, a soft bed, and a reunion with our children. Our Reliquary-provided facilities were going to be heaven after this.
Apparently there was a miscommunication or a misunderstanding or something of the sort in that area. After the ship finally docked, and we unloaded and trudged across snow dunes with our gear, we arrived at what we were told was our "Reliquary Base." In place of the sturdy, warm, well-appointed buildings we expected were primitive huts with roofs and floors and not a lot in between. And those were the nice "buildings". There were also tents spread around the buildings, both inside and outside of the walls that were still being constructed. TENTS IN SNOW! I want to repeat that for emphasis: TENTS. IN. SNOW. This was far from what we'd been promised, but we were stuck. It was up to us to improve things to a minimum standard of livability. The only happiness of our arrival came when we got to wrap our arms around the children. They made the trip by portal with the Suntoucheds and the construction crew and supplies. I wondered why we couldn't have gone through the portal from Orgrimmar as they had. Horde efficiency at its finest.
The first few weeks were spent fixing up the base. Buildings were enclosed more fully and crude doors were attached. Hal managed to pipe hot water through the living quarters and infirmary by rigging up some kind of pump from the cave, and then we had pipes to worry about stepping over all the time. It's worth it, though; to not wake up shivering in the middle of the night. If we could get indoor plumbing... well, that would make me very happy. There's nothing worse than being the next person to use the outhouse after an orc has been in there.
We were so busy trying to make things habitable that we didn't notice the tensions in our camp. Just before Winter's Veil several of the Ravenwoods decided to leave and as a result the Steeldawns went into semi-retirement. I don't blame them with a new baby. We met with people from both factions of our former mercenary allies and wished them all nothing but the best. The more time I spend here, the more I wish there was some way I could go home, too. It's just so lonely here now.
It isn't all bad, though. The children are having a blast playing in the snow. Dozens of snowman guards and wolves have been made around the base. The food is slightly better than I expected, and we aren't responsible for preparing it. We simply go to the tavern a few times a day and there's always food. Hal has been given a spacious workshop to build golems and munitions and things. It's arguably the warmest and nicest building in the base. He's very happy.
We are looking forward to getting into the ogre stronghold of Highmaul with our team. Hal is convinced that we're going to find incredible things for the Reliquary there, as the ogres of this Draenor are highly intelligent for the most part and masters of the arcane. Who would have thought it? Smart ogres. At any time the military should be finished clearing the place out so that we can get in and study things in relative safety. Arcturus has been studying the ogre system of magical transport using waystones, and Hal said that he might even be able to rig a waygate thing to Quel'thalas using that technology. I hope he's right. As it is one needs an important official reason to use the portal at the Horde headquarters, or gold to bribe the portal mages. (It isn't a question of gold in our case - it's the principle. It's practically extortion.)
We will see what the coming weeks bring - hopefully a significant find and a pass home.
(TL;DR - I'm behind blogging. Sunbornes arrive in Frostfire. Accommodations less than 5-star. Scathing review will be sent to Expedia.)

Ooc- I'm passing this on for those of you who love Middle Earth too.
It is that time of year again!…..
Something is in the air in the major cities of Azeroth. Some call it love, and some just call it friendship and admiration. Whichever it is, many guards and townsfolks now spend their days giving and receiving tokens and gifts to other amorous citizens.
The more skeptical, however, are suspicious of the strange “love sickness” clouding the hearts of so many. Will this widespread occurrence be simply taken as a recent outbreak of amore? Or will our brave adventurers find a sinister plot behind the source of this plague of passion? Only time will tell…

This is adorable!
Negative….Negative…Negative….WHY? Please tell me why people like to hurt others with words? At the end of the day does it make them feel good?
Why must we have a Moonguard secrets or a WrA Secrets to sling dirt and hate on others ? Or out and out war of words on tumblr? I tell you guys, my…
Hello everyone,
I want to repost this because I don’t think it got through the first time to EVERYONE, this goes for people on WRA and MG and anywhere else in the world! Before you speak let your words pass through three gates:
At the first gate, ask yourself, ” Is it true?”
At the second, ask, ” Is it necessary? “
At the third, as, ” Is it kind?”
I have said it before and I will say it again, if you don’t have kind words to say then don’t say them at all. Love one another, treat each other the way YOU want to be treated. Stop bashing others and work together instead of against. It is ultimately up to all of you to re-build and support others that try to do the right thing not only in game but in life. Forgiveness, Love and Respect. I love all of you wonderful people, you make this world a wonderful place to be, and I appreciate all of your talents. So go out in the world and be kind to one another, we have enough hate and violence in the world. Be the change people.
Love and Light,
Azuri

PLEASE, PLEASE Reblog if You're a Roleplayer That Believes Mun and Muse are Two Separate People.
my girlfriend thinks that everything my muse does is really ME doing it.
i’m trying to prove to her that there’s a whole community of us who recognize the huge, huge difference between mun and muse. please help me prove her wrong!
This is part of the reason I don't use those terms, because they mean nothing to me. I like to use "writer" (or "player") and "character" (or "toon") because it's way easier for anyone to see that distinction (in my little opinion).
There are bits of me in most of my characters. But they aren't me. I think most writers are influenced by things they experience in their lives, to a point. Some of my characters have traits that are 100% opposite of my own.
The way I see it, roleplayers are really just actors. We just get to write the script as we go.
