∞ (hydegin)
Although not as well Suited as Cloverfield, Hydegin and Seishin’s fusion is a force to be reckoned with while they can hold themselves together. With both the predatory instincts and bloodthirst of Seishin and Hydegin’s intelligence and calculating mind, in addition to a stature threatening to usurp even Ghidorah’s, there is little that can escape their wrath if they have the misfortune of bringing It upon themselves.
The fusion inherits both members’ purple hues, with a primarily lavender body. Their legs are a much deeper purple, verging on black, as are their segmented necks. The heads, however, retain Seishin’s white. The spines on the fusion’s tail bioluminesce as well, their glow matching the beam weapons fired from each of the three split-jawed heads, of which the center is the most powerful.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, this fusion is one that can stay fused nearly indefinitely - it would appear that Clover and Seishin are very well suited to each other. Their fusion has a temperament much like a dolphin, combining Clover’s youthful curiosity and playfulness with Seishin’s energy and predatory nature. Though she is somewhat less suited for high-speed swimming than Seishin, and less for land than Clover, she Is adept at both means of locomotion and can pursue -whether for predation or for play - across most any terrain.
As both members of the fusion are pale, she inherits this, though her bioluminescence is more limited than Seishin’s and takes a more orange hue. The inflatable organs between her three crests are a dull lavender, which when inflated gives way to a bright, bioluminescent orange. They are mostly for display purposes, but can aid in respiration above water if needed.
((I almost forgot to upload, the portrait of Seishin that I made next to Drakos! Tell me what you think!))
((In honor of my birthday today, here’s a big dump of all the drawings I have of Seishin in my sketchbook that haven’t gone up yet!
1. Attempt at using my copics to color Seishin and her Light - didn’t work out well, but it looks cool anyway! 2. Very unfinished - and now outdated - little doodle of Seishin swimming 3 & 4. Attempts to draw her from the front, with her brand new skull. I’m not sure how well they turned out - especially the open-mouthed one - but this is the first time I’ve drawn her from the front, and I’m proud of myself!
Hope you all enjoy!))
((Seishin’s new face! A direct reconstruction over the skull, complete with her shiny new ‘teeth’! What does everyone think of her?))
((Updated skull!))
((After studying skulls for some time, I redrew Seishin’s skull, talking into account a certain tyrannosaur’s suggestions and critique. Seishin now has pseudoteeth lining her maw and more robust muscle attachments to power a steel-crushing bite. The individual bones have been added to make up the skull’s form, even if some parts are a slight stretch. Notably figuring out how to fit in another set of orbits.))
(( @lythronax-argostes-the-gore-king , when you see this, is this version more anatomically sound?))
((In honor of October, Seishin’s skull! Fancy-shmancy biological musing below the cut!))
Note: I have no idea if this would actually work as a skull, it’s simply what looks decently believable to me.
One of Seishin’s most prominent features is her four-jawed mouth. Analysis of her skull reveals that this is accomplished through relatively simple modifications of a ‘normal’ two-part jaw. The lower jaw is disconnected, as is common in many more common vertebrates, with a hinge halfway along each mandible. The upper jaw splits just anterior to the braincase and approximately in line with the more forward pair of orbits.
Each mandible holds a single dentary, which is somewhat reduced in the lower jaw to accommodate the beak. In all four mandibles, the metallic beak covers the distal end, though on the upper mandibles teeth encroach on the area covered.
The skull is topped with the core to the crescent crest, which has a keratinous coating in life.

To keep things easy to reference, I’m gonna reblog most of my old art onto here - so for any new followers, expect to see a lot of that for a while! It’ll probably be all at once, rather than queued up, so I’m not sure how long it’ll last, but it shouldn’t be too bad.
Let’s kick off this blog with some pixel art!
Since I’ve never really had a proper art - or personal - blog, I thought it’s about time I got one! I can’t say how often I’ll be posting here, but I can say that I’ll definitely be putting up any art I make!
Here’s to the beginning of a new blog!
