Happy munday from the beast thats been keeping me exceptionally busy recently this past weekend

#nem speaks #ooc #delete later #she is 3 1/2 months old and 3 apples tall #shes just now starting to get curious about the wider house #and today will be her first workshift where she has absolute free reign of my room so hopefully i won't come back to a total disaster lol #but she's got a clean bill of health! she is happy and healthy and did NOT give a shit about the fireworks last weekend #(also shes actually relatively well behaved for her age)#(im really grateful for that lol)#also im doing artfight and im planning on getting back to blogs soon

between work and packing and trips and some repairs that need to get done i'm not gonna have any time to update things for the next little while! im tenatively giving myself june to rest up and not push myself through any potential pain flares coming my way from all of it

happy munday all! heres some updates

in regards to blogs -- i'm likely not gonna get back to things until mid to late july, partially because of some issues around furniture not arriving on time (or, properly, even!), partially because of things that still need to be done around the house (repairs, cleaning things up, etc) and partially because i wanted to participate in art fight this year!

im primarily going to do loose, colored sketches this year, kind of similar to up above, so if you want some art feel free to follow me here (i'm team tragedy this year!)

lastly, im entertaining opening up commissions as a regular thing again! i havent done them at all since like 2022 so itll be a nice return to form hopefully :>

update; as of this last monday, we're officially moved in! i just got my computer set up as of today as i've been doing projects around the house and building furniture and really havent had much time to sit down and browse the web, but i would definitely be on hiatus through all of june!

I made a post earlier this month about potentially moving and here's the update on when where and why Its pretty likely its gonna work out, much to my own shock! I was very convinced it wasn't going to actually, but after 2 hours of crunching numbers tonight it looks like the stars have aligned to make it work. (If it doesn't work out in the end well, its likely not gonna be my choice lol)

The timeline got pushed back a little bit so likely my hiatus will start early-mid May rather than late April, as that's when its gonna really kick off. I havent moved in a long time so I know its gonna take me a while to sort through everything and do a good deep clean of everything. and also the fact that I work full time. and i (and my loved ones) also have chronic pain/chronic illness/etc. and the fact that theres repairs that have to be done. and travelling! why is it that every time i have a major move i have a trip around it?? /silly

we're gonna just take it slow and steady, basically!

I'll likely post one more heads up once im officially on hiatus! have a good night ya'll

we've had trouble designing a general pokesona for all of us to share so i tried my hand at designing one for myself instead so we can maybe use oberon as the one for all of us instead and your honor i've never had a more accurate sona for myself

wow okay so i wasn't planning on saying anything but i was just told i am going to be "very busy" the rest of this month (and no this isnt an april fools thing) so i figured i'd post an update here ahead of time

i will likely be inactive starting later this month as i will be in the process of moving! we found a place we liked and we're now in the official processes (tm) to make that happen (obviously so long as nothing happens that changes that)

i finally finished all the plot updates. i have no more plot things to complete. all i have to do is alt text and im free. im freeeeeeeee

27 unique panels all done for the new updates to take us into the last leg of the prologue and now i just get to sit back and relax and get to work on refs or ask--neon or something until this all drops

wow holy shit i just remembered its the anniversary of this blog. that is so wild that its been 3 years and we've not left the prologue... 2023 does not feel that long ago....

anyways, happy anniversary to this blog, heres yet another sneak preview of what i've been working on for updates!

I just finished most of this post outside of like one panel, but I have... (looks at my notes) like 4-5 other plot relevant posts to get us out of the prologue (i say 4-5 as ones just needing speech bubbles and backgrounds so it is closer to 4 than 5....)

thank you to everyone whos held on this long and/or is still interested in this story, i really hope itll have been worth the wait with the plot hooks that are about to get revealed!
