Could someone explain to me how the class selection is supposed to work? I’m used to the Scottish school system where there’s only one course per subject/level. (For instance, you can take Maths, you can take English, you can take Biology, you can take Physics, etc., each of those counting as a single distinct subject, and you can take them at different levels depending on what exams you’ve previously passed in the subject.)
So with this one, do you pick one class to attend within a certain subject? How does the progression work? I take it you have to select at least one course per main subject, and then you can have your pick from the electives? Would a student be able to choose more than one course within a certain subject?
I’m not sure about multiple courses within a certain subject(I’d send neohigh an ask about that) but you just choose a class, yes. However, Crazy is a freshman and every GenEd class but his math class is predetermined for him—from what I remember of the times I was given a choice, you just get to choose from the options you’re given, but I think some schools have placement tests, especially if you transfer from another country or something. Regardless, if he’s really good at math, he probably wouldn’t “qualify” for Algebra 1 and he could take his pick of the remaining classes. Progression just happens when you go into the next grade—if you chose one class, you probably can’t take it again in another grade.
As for the electives, you just take your pick from them, yes. But I’d definitely send neohigh an ask just to be sure about any of this! (Though I think they check the tag and might see this post and reply to it themselves, so maybe wait a while on that.)
Thank you. This actually helps a lot.
So Math is split up into individual subjects then? And would any of them be prerequisites for others? Is it basically up to students to pick what order they want to complete the modules in (over the course of their highschool years) or am I getting this completely the wrong way around?
(All this was completely different at my school. Maths was Maths, Physics was Physics, English was English, and so on. You needed either a Credit mark in Standard Grade or a pass at Intermediate 2 to take a Higher of any subject, and if you didn't have a Standard Grade you would usually have to take an Int. 1 before you could study at Int. 2 level.)

Sorry for the lack of posts I'VE BEEN BUSY, ALRIGHT?
*ahem* Sorry about that. I'm still pissed off about them giving me detention. I WAS IN THE PRINCIPLE'S OFFICE AT THE TIME THE POSTERS WERE DROPPED! Call that justice? I think not.
I mean yeah, technically it was for the swearing, rather than the posters which were OBVIOUSLY NOT MY DOING BECAUSE I WAS IN THE PRINCIPLE'S OFFICE AND YET THEY STILL F*CKING TRIED TO BLAME ME.
Just wait until I find who tipped them off. Someone has a lot of explaining to do.

OOC: Alright, here's a more realistic/physically accurate representation of AU Crazy.
Well, if you all refuse to entertain me, I shall just entertain myself. I believe it's been two days since I read my course books, I may as well do it again.
If anyone wishes to question me, this is the link. Bear in mind though I am a busy Moehog and I may not answer you until later.
(Anonymous has been activated, so you needn't fear me hunting you down. It will be interesting to see the results.)
I realize that I’ve probably used up all my sympathy chips, but I missed work today for one of the stupidest reasons on the planet, and now feel even more like a useless slagheap.
Seriously, work has long been the only context in which I was good at something, could do it consistently, and not only keep up my current skills but add new ones. It’s one of the very few ways in which I am a productive member of society, or anything like what a normal 21-year-old young man “should” be.
Updates on Bat-Shaming 4.13, aka “Cory tries really hard to be a productive and healthy individual and gives you all Neopets rewards when he fails,” will come soon!
F*ck the establishment, man! Who cares what people think you should be? Find your own way in life, be who you want, don't let what you're "meant" to do dictate your life!
You think I give a flying f*ck what people think of me? There's no way I'm going to apologise for who I am! The only way to change this shitty mess is to take a stand against it.
You think I'm going to show you a picture of my bedroom? I'm not stupid. So here, have my 8th grade portrait why don't you?
(I apologise for the sour expression. That f*cking photographer nearly drove me insane with her patronising nagging!)
This is partly for my own reference, but feel free to have a nosy. Still under construction (obviously), so feel free to send an ask or something if you think our pets should know each other...
Nothing else to add, I suppose. I'll just mention that the way AU Crazy would react to your AU pet(s) depends strongly on how they treat him (and no one else). Very self-absorbed is he, but he is kind to people who respect him.
School cancelled on the first week because of "unforeseen" events in Tyrannia? I can't say I'm surprised. The Neopian government has a track record of disorganisation - why should their subsidiaries be any different?
Anyway, we stick to the original plan, but I probably don't have to say we are delaying implementation by a week. This might even turn out in our favour!
(Note: A small change has been made to the original material. Existing copies need not be discarded as the edit is very subtle and does not contain any significant information. That is all.)
I'm laughing. I can't stop. Someone send help before I suffocate.

I thought it was somewhat relevant.
The f*cking faculty refused my request! (I asked them so nicely too.) Friends, lackeys, partners-in-crime,
