Its moments like the awkward Harrenhal diner that makes me miss book Alicent the most because I just know she would've had Alys killed. No witch is gonna marry her precious baby boy without her approval (and of course, for that you need to not be a bastard). Instead we have a version of Alicent who knows that Aemond's time is up so she lets him have his girlfriend, like a dog having a treat before being put down.

I have a theory that the reason why Daeron has auburn hair is because they're gonna pull a Laenor on him a.k.a fake his death so that he can get away from the family drama, and it would be easier for him to dissapear if he doesn't have any Targaryen traits.
Or....
He's gonna fake his death and then impersonate a distant Hightower relative, and thus he becomes the head of the House. This I see possible only if both Gwayne and Ormund end up death.

I understand why they are doing what they're doing with Rhaena, if I were part of the production team I would also love to give Pheobe more screen time, but the list of things they could've done instead of using Nettle's plot is endless to the point where it makes you wonder if they were planning this from the very beginning.
They could've hatched Morning earlier (maybe ending season 1 or start of 2) and we could've had a glimpse on how pre-Danny Targaryens trained their dragons.
They could've given her a Sansa-esque plot and have Rhaena learn how to gain and wield political power.
Fuck, we could've even see her in a Westerosi tour to try and sway other houses and have her meet Garmund and go through a forbidden love arc with him.
I just know that Alys is aware that Aemond will die in the God's Eye, but I can't prove it....
