The Story Of A WINNER
It seems like Hiro’s word in this post by my sister @japanessie had some fans offended. (OOR fans to be exact) so I guess it’s my call now.

Before scrolling down, make sure you are open-minded enough to read the following statement I’m creating.
Moving on to the story,
So in 2011, this winner named HIROKI MORIUCHI, aged 17, formed a band, MY FIRST STORY. (according to Wiki)
THE FANS LOOKED DOWN ON HIM. Saying stuffs like:
“He’s trying to copy-cat his brother.” “He LOOKS AND SOUNDS like his brother.” “There’s nothing different from his band. They should think of something new.”
For all the hatred, HE DYED HIS HAIR BLONDE. HE WROTE A SONG ABOUT THEM. HE PROCEED HIS CAREER WITH HIS BAND despite all the comparison and bashing in every MV they released.
Before this, Taka battled against the image of his parents and suceeded in creating his own image as OOR’s vocalist.
BUT HIRO BATTLED AGAINST BOTH HIS BROTHER AND HIS PARENTS’ IMAGE -which doubled the struggle he has to go through.
In this battle against the people trying to put him down, HE WON.
Because he had another 4 warriors behind him. Especially his leader, SHO - The one saving his life, just like how Toru saved Taka.
And now, 2016. Aged 22.
MY FIRST STORY hits BUDOKAN for the first time! After many years of ups and downs of their career as a band.
He decided to be even better than his RIVAL BAND - ONE OK ROCK.
He now officially marked his own brother’s band as his rival.
This is where the second battle begins.
And I would say, this time, HE WON. AGAIN.
because he finally break-through his family’s image and proved everyone that he got what it takes.
But,
the fans were upset about his statement.
I WONDER WHY?
Was it because they were afraid that his band is going to win the clash between them and OOR?
Or was it because they were brothers??
HOLD YOUR ASS, GIRL!
He’s not saying that he will fist-fight his brother, stab him right on his chest and throw him off a 1000 feet cliff. NO!
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS:
HE GREW UP. HE KNOW HOW THIS MUSIC WORLD WORKS.
EVERY MUSICIANS MUST BATTLE AGAINST EACH OTHER TO BE ON TOP. EVEN WHEN THE ONE YOU WERE FIGHTING AGAINST IS YOUR OWN FLESH AND BLOOD.
Because if you don’t fight, YOU FAILED.
What is wrong with being a rival with your own siblings if that is how they both worked? But it won’t mean that they were rivals in real life too.
THEY SUPPORTED EACH OTHER AT THE SAME TIME.
Stop being easily butthurt just because they were siblings-turned-rivals.
now, allow me to ask you this,
does it hurt to know that the one you once throw stones at, is now throwing the stones back at you?
The pain Hiro used to have makes him stronger now.
Strong and brave enough to fight his own brother’s empire.
