Very few things in life could ever be described as both a heralded victory as well as a crushing defeat, and yet that phrase alone seemed to sum up the events immediately following the fall of Vale in the Maiden’s eyes. The Kingdom had effectively been subdued, the extent of her faction’s influence and might a sight that would not soon be forgotten by the remaining forces that stood to oppose her. That being said, that GIRL had made it painfully clear that Cinder’s powers were still quite far from being without equal, a fact that the woman could not help but allow to fester. All of that, however, was quickly brushed out of the woman’s mind as a noise broke the usual silence of the delapidated warehouse. Unsure of it’s origins, amber hues would quickly glance over in the direction of the noise, the maiden hoping to get the jump on whatever (or whoever) it may be.
It was so quiet now. Former activity had stopped dead in its tracks, lending the whole place an eerie vibe. Seeing as no one came forwards, she decided to try again─ maybe the didn’t hear? She taps the walls louder now, whilst pausing for a brief moment to make a simple humming noise. Perhaps if she used her vocals somewhat, she’d be more easily recognizable. It wasn’t as if she knew if that would work or not, so she slowly unfurled her parasol, it remaining held high as the caution set in. The place could just be empty, but even then, she’d have to search the place for clues for where the others went. Getting knocked into the sky wasn’t a fun way to go missing in action, and she’d at least like to assert that she was alive, and not, in fact, dead.
