Other fandoms/interests: Frieren, The Summer Hikaru Died, Studio Ghibli (ALL OF IT), Cowboy Bebop, Bats (yes the animal, Flying Foxes specifically).

I consider myself very creative when given no restrictions, but i am horrible at actually doing things. (Im a band kid btw.) Whenever i get a hobby aside from gaming it usually lasts about 3 days, but i still do it occasionally. These include:

Writing: Im writing a series called Riposte rn, my first time writing fiction basically, search #Riposte or #Lestrem on this blog

Music Production: This lasted no more than 2 days but i will pick it up again once i gain the elusive gift of motivation

Art: I rly wanna get good at art, but im only semi-good when im copying a reference rn, i have basically no drawing experience

3D Animation/art: This is something i wanna learn most, but i have next to no motivation to actually dedicate to it, so this will be a thing for the future

Lestric

at its core, I began creating the Lestric language in my frustration of the English language’s impracticality, and my assumption all languages are impractical in some way

I guess you could call Lestric the language of my mind, the best way for me to represent my thoughts in language when languages have such frustrating structure to me

I was delving into linguistic definitions in a way to explain the language in a proper technical way cause i felt the need to, before realising, to describe Lestric is to define my way of thinking

Lestric has two types of words, grammatics and abstracts.

an abstract is a word with meaning

a grammatic is just a word to help structure

this language is EXTREMELY flexible, im gonna give a comparison between a lestric sentence and a pair of english sentences, and try translate as best as i can

“The river flowed north”

“the” targets “river” and “flowed” refers to “the river” and “north” refers to “flowed”

this sentence can be written as “River flow north” and it would have the same meaning, albeit being more context based

in lestric, this sentence can be written however you want basically, and there is no way to distinguish between something like “flow” and “flowed” without context or the use of another abstract indicating time

but the thing is you can combine abstracts extremely flexibly

which means i could write “the river flows north” as a single word, because we dont need “the” in most contexts e.g. rivernorthflow. All we are doing is combining ideas, so maybe you could say rivernorth with the same idea being transferred

however, communication needs to be clear sometimes, which is where we use grammatics or add more abstracts

if you look deeper into “the river flows north” the most it could be saying is “the contextual river does flow northwards”

p good atm, lowkey burnt out af last few days but a lot has happened

i feel so… idk how to describe it. Real? Valid? Present? idk but im in a new friend group and we’re hanging out SO OFTEN I LOVE IT

and i tried weed with them once and we had a sleepover and im dating one of them now and hes super awesome and i finally feel like the mental image of a 16yr old that was in my head

adhd meds are awesome and im upping the dose next week, so much stuff is happening its crazy

little exhausted but life is good

ANYWAYS TIME TO EXPAND LESTREM UNIVERSE INTO AN ACTYAL UNIVERSE

Ive been playing a lot of space games recently and watching space movies so im now gonna start building the interstellar civilisation and their own gods and stuff

Basically Lestrem is rly unique which is why none of the aliens have interfered with it besides gods, also the reason why it has so many gods too

Gonna call the galactic universe Stellestrem (stellar lestrem heh)

Okay universe lore time

At the beginning there was One, a god? a particle? a void? none and all, something beyond comprehension, it simply was. From the One split the Eight, the first gods, True Gods.

Glu: That of bond

Fillen: That of avoidance, fear

Phondra: That of freedom, emptiness, carefree

Trest: That of destruction, distaste, the goal of another to not

Orda: That of… order (dont yell at me it sounds cool to me idk), repeats, plan

Faline: That of chaos, the unexplainable, difference to all, something new

and finally

Lestrem: that of life, beauty, spirit

Korl: One of… rule… with no desire but control of the others

From these grew more, for all except Korl value creation and new life, but none more so then Lestrem

From the Eight came all gods of today, and from those, the universe as we know it. Then Korl’s hunger grew too great and it launched an assault of being against the Eight, seldom will they meddle in the universe, for they are locked still in a never-ending defence against greed, incapacitated, taken the form alike to planets created by their creations. Most of these are barren, driving mad any who venture near, or swallowing them for eternity. In Lestrem alone remains life and magic aplenty, for even in her struggle she nurtures all.

The Stellestrem is filled with remnant civilisations, roaming armies, small settlements, planets which are treated like a canvas by a god, be it through art, destruction or life.

Thats all for now, im considering migrating Lestrem to Ao3, not sure yet
