You know, I was trying to draw these guys in a Zootopia-ish style at first, but then I started looking through the concept art for secret of Kells and I guess something in my brain just shifted because the two styles just began melding into one. Not very close to... either style. But I'm still happy with it.

The designs are also kind of an amalgamation of their comic and animation designs. That and I always forget Calvin has 3/4 sleeves.

Here's how they were originally intended to look. By the time I started sketching rocky, I was already shifting to a more shapey style.

A guide on donations for the Venezuelan earthquake

This past June 24th, my homeland Venezuela was hit with two earthquakes category 7.2 and 7.5.

Why is this a big deal, beyond the obvious?

Venezuela is not dealing with an absence of government, it's actively fighting back a government that terrorizes, steals, tortures and kills. They've done nothing but try to bloke humanitarian help from other countries and close down any donation centers that belongs to the opposition.

This is a dictatorship run by murderers, and they are behaving as such. It is cruel on its maximum expression, but no one is surprised.

This political climate combined with the absolute scarcity of economic resources in Venezuela, means that the country and its people are entirely dependent on international help. all the efforts done to help people have been carried out by Venezuelan citizens and international forces that have come to the aid, which we are extremely grateful for.

If you want to donate money, always ensure that these sites and websites are not affiliated with the government whatsoever. Always donate to independent foundations and even individuals otherwise these funds will never reach the people.

Some silly Hazbin sketches. I quite like the idea that Abel puts his hat on backwards because it makes him seem cool and laid back. Ha ha. How silly. This design choice was born of my own desire to add a cute quirk to the character and definitely not because I was avoiding the torturous nightmare that is drawing a hat with a brim on a character with a full head of hair.

I'm doing comic practice in procreate and have completely upended Lute's design. Can you even tell it's her anymore? 💀

Guess this just proves to me that I don't enjoy drawing most (if any) of the og designs.

What the hell. Why pretend, right?

I just love drawing characters without references and completely bullshitting their designs. Having flip flopped between styles so much over the years, I think I've frustrated myself with my indecision enough that my mind is finally ready to settle on whatever way I want to draw.
