Nerd Friday Episode 8: Into Darkness
This week on Nerd Friday we boldly go where so many nerds have gone before. That’s right, this week’s episode is all about Star Trek. So set your phasers to fun (oh yes, we said it) and get ready to talk Trek. Just hit that play button or listen on your mobile device now.
SPECIAL GUESTS
Nick and Tom Parker. The Parker Brothers of San Francisco.
ABOUT LAST WEEK
Kristy wasn't that nerdy, but she did see the Great Gatsby in 3D. In five words or less, it was, "Surprisingly good.” The 3D was pretty great, Leo looked amazing, and Baz Lhurman kept his eccentricities to a minimum. The only distracting part was the music.
Sabs went and saw Nicholas Carr at City Arts and Lectures. He was there talking about how social media, and the internet is ruining our brains. So fascinating. 5 words or less, “Just a sec, texting. What?”
Thinking about last week's episode, it was interesting to hear that TNT & TBS will live stream their content 24x7. Also, cutting cable may not save you money.
