Beverly's Sweater: Making of...
In the 1940’s, Norwegians made and wore red pointed hats with a tassel as a form of visual protest against Nazi occupation of their country. Within two years, the Nazis made these protest hats illegal and punishable by law to wear, make, or distribute.

Sometimes called a hitch knot increase, but I prefer cow hitch increase, because then I can abbreviate it as "cow" in my patterns. :)
I have also seen this done by knitting that stitch long* on the previous round. I have tried it both ways and as far as I remember the results don't look different, but the extra yarn keeps the stitches from feeling too tight on the needle after the increase.
*I.e. wrapping the yarn twice instead of once.

Not loving the changes in coloring between the main and lower body and the sleeves - should I start over and lead with the different dye pattern?
