I know people say Carol is the strongest person of the MCU or whatever but clearly it’s Pepper

Telling someone you love, who is your entire life, “We’re going to be okay, you can rest now” is about hardest thing in life to do.

She sacrificed her feelings, her right to break down in front of him and beg him not to go, and instead told Tony they’d be ok without him, so that he could feel like it was ok to die. So that he wouldn’t feel guilt. And she didn’t break down and cry until after he was gone so that he wouldn’t feel bad for leaving.

The reason the Irondad cheek kiss wasn’t in the movie was because the Russos know that the fan base would turn it and make it into something horrifically weird and see it as romantic because people don’t know how to appreciate PLATONIC AFFECTION for what it is

When Stan Lee dies, all the Marvel movie characters should mention they have funerals to attend for their postman/doorman/friend/stripclub DJ and then be very confused when they all show up at the same one.

I’m reblogging this because I had this same thought today. I hope the end credits scene of Avengers 4 somehow pays tribute to him and acknowledges that he’s not there, and that something is missing. 😭
