Drawing And Shit With Clowns

6 foot tall autism creature who really likes clowns (trying and desperately failing to learn how to draw) most likely a trans fem but for now they/them

This isn’t the artwork that I promised last time and I apologize for that, but I got 90% of that one done before realizing that I currently had no where near the skill needed to do what I wanted for the remaining 10%, so instead you guys get this instead. It’s based on a girl who I saw in one of my dreams before, which tend to only be incredibly weird or incredibly disturbing depending on the night, and she’s from one of my more disturbing dreams if you couldn’t tell. I won’t describe the details terribly much just to avoid being to graphic but she’s a blond teen that basically suffered from many electrical burns inflicted by another person multiple times, doing that to her both caused her face damage and the rest of her body to develop blisters, pustules, and more burns. She did end up being saved by the end of the dream but fate after is unknown because I had woken up. I don’t know if electrical burns could actually do that to a person but a dream is a dream, they don’t have to follow logic. I’ll most likely turn her into an Oc especially since she did survive the events of the dream and hypothetically should be able to live a semi-normal life after. If I do she’ll wear a mask to cover her face to avoid onlookers and she won’t really know what to do with her life after the traumatic event, kinda just trying to figure out how to exist in general. I think I’d be funny if I made her a Changeling the Dreaming given she came from my dream as well as me having a bunch of other World of Darkness characters (I’m trying to have one from every system), but I don’t know what fey I’d make her that fits with what happened to her in my dream. As for the drawing itself I really liked the challenge of doing the burn which then fades into her exposed mouth and teeth, it was good shading practice for me. Meanwhile the hair (being the one aspect I struggle most with) went decent. Her hair was a much more messy style in my dream but I don’t even know how to attempt that yet so wavy will have to do for now. I’m thinking I’ll name her Dianna for now since that’s the name that popped into my head while drawing her but that’s up for change.

Attempting to draw again, this time in a much more rubber hose animation style. I’ve always loved rubber hose animation ever since I was a kid, it was literally my favorite type of cartoon, and because of which I always wanted to make my own Oc universe in that format. So I decided to draw one of the guys from said universe on paper for the first time, and at a later date I’ll try to draw the other two main characters from it. Now the story behind this guy as well as the general idea of my universe is that it takes place in circus with the three main characters each fulfilling a particular act in the circus. They’re also all based off different insects instead of the basic animals or humans that you usually see with the one that I decided to draw today was the (currently unnamed and taking suggestions) strong man who’s based on a flea. His mustache is actually his mandibles that’ll move whenever he talks if I ever get good enough at this to actually animate. He’s the antagonist of the universe, fulfilling the equivalent of bluto in popeye by being both a general and also romantic rival. He’s actually a lot generally kinder than bluto, fancying himself a gentleman; it’s just that the MC is extremely unlucky with his misfortune often also effecting the flea, and being romantic rivals doesn’t help. I’ll most likely draw the equivalent of Olive Oil next—sticking with the popeye theming—and describe what they’re like. After that I’ll draw and describe the MC, and I know that feels backwards but I’m still trying to figure out what I want from the design for the MC. In terms of the actual drawing I still can’t do hands so I left those out but I tried to tinker a bit with perspective and I think I did pretty well. Still not a great drawing but you only get out what you put into it. If I improve a decent amount I’ll redraw him better and post that someday.

Got the motivation to attempt drawing again so here’s this. First attempt at trying to draw a head with a torso and honestly I’m happy with the result despite not being great or anything. Don’t know if I’ll draw hair and eyebrows later or leave him with alopecia, though I’ll probably shade the eyes and fix a few mistakes. It’s also the first time I’ve actually drew lips that didn’t look terrible so that’s something. I’d appreciate any tips to how to draw hair, noses, and lips if you guys have any, but if not I still hope you enjoy seeing my drawing progress in the future.
