Hi! I'm Cantique!

I mostly write a lot of fanfic and you might know me from the Fallout, Resident Evil: Village (I wrote Embryology) or Call of Duty fandoms if you browse Ao3 a lot. I've been a big Fallout stan for my entire adult life, though, and consider that my core-interest as far as that shit goes.

Fic is a really important part of my life. Other than being a hobby it acted as a gateway for me to professionally write fiction (I was a copywriter for a while) and I'm eternally grateful that thanks to Embryology, I now have some writing credits in a couple of really great games -- including one that's a pretty big pre-existing IP that was an absolute honour to work on.*

My faves are Joshua Graham, Cooper Howard/The Ghoul, Craig Boone, Hancock, and Vulpes (I am mentally ill.)

On the lack of updates

I'm sorry about the lack of fic updates on my part. I really am. My pregnancy has proven extremely difficult and ive only really found the energy to sit down and write now that im on maternity leave from my day job.

I'm due at the end of the month and the ever approaching concept of being left alone with a small human being who will rely on me for every single thing he needs to survive is absolutely terrifying - so idk expect some body horror maybe idk im feeling moody about it.
