Does your C6 have any romantic preferences (basically what does she like in a partner and/or does she have any potential crushes?)

For romantic preferences, Six is more interested in companionship than romance itself, from anybody really. What she does like to value in people is competence, reliability, and someone who actually listens to her. She's comfortable using charisma or flirting to get by in the wasteland, but that doesn't automatically translate to emotional attachment or love.

At this point in the story though, she's still emotionally underdeveloped in a lot of ways, spending most of her life (a couple of weeks from waking up in Goodsprings) surviving and figuring out who she is, not really understanding herself or what she wants from other people yet. so any potential crushes has yet to be realized or become a priority.

Would Six be classified as a tomboy? Pretty sure everybody is rugged and willing to fight in the wasteland but her hair and attitude give off that vibe. Did you envision her as such when making her?

I guess she does! The hair wasn't exactly a fashion choice though, considering her surgery. As for her attitude… heaven knows what her upbringing was like. I didn't really set out to make her a tomboy specifically, I think she just naturally leaned that way because of the wasteland and the kind of life she's lived. But given the chance, Six wouldn't mind embracing her femininity more if things weren't constantly in survival mode.

Do you have tips on how to get commited on making comic even when you suddenly feel bored without getting distracted to start another drawing?

Hi anon, honestly, it's discipline. Motivation could only get you so far, so you have to work on your comic regardless of how you feel that day.

Set a schedule or deadline and try your best to stick to it. It also helps to break the process into smaller tasks so it doesn't feel overwhelming. One step at a time. Script, thumbnails, sketches, finalizing. One page. One panel at a time. Even working on a page for just 5 minutes is progress. Sometimes starting for one minute can suddenly turn into 8 hours of drawing xD it's all about building the habit and getting yourself into the zone.

Looking at other comics helps too. Reading, watching movies, listening to music that fits the mood of your story, all of that can give inspiration.

Also, don't let perfectionism stop you from progressing. A finished page is better than a page you endlessly redraw and never post...but if the Will genuinely just isn't there, it's okay to take a break and come back when your head's in a better space.

And if your comic itself no longer feels exciting to you, maybe ask yourself if this is really a story you want to tell? Maybe explore the world more, rewrite scenes, or focus on the parts that made you love the idea in the first place

Hi Tan,

I made this poster for Into The Mojave and really wanted to send it to you.

I discovered your comic last year, and your Courier has stuck with me ever since. I’ve always loved playing New Vegas, but I never felt truly connected to the character until I saw yours. The way she’s still able to laugh, smile, make friends, and create good memories, even after being shot in the head, losing her memories, and carrying so much rage and grief, is incredibly moving. She feels so human and resilient.

In that wasteland, she’s exactly the kind of person I’d want by my side.

Your Courier actually inspired me a lot. I made my own comic with some friends a while back, and my main character also has a brutal past, yet he refuses to stop being joyful and excited about life and his friends. Your work helped me lean even more into that theme: little souls in a big rotten world, still finding happiness and peace wherever they can while carrying mountains on their backs.

What artists online or otherwise that inspired your art style? I wanna eat it up!!

Hi, thank you for the question, I appreciate you.

For online artists, I really looked up to Endling on Deviantart. Unfortunately they haven't updated since 2014. Their comic Everafter was soooo good too.

Greasymicrophone on X has some really neat art as well! They've been taking a break for personal reasons recently, so their socials are gone for now.

And then finally, there's Koteri Ink.
